Fable 2 FAQ/ Walkthrough

[[===========================================================================]]
There are many conflicting legends as to whether or not the Hero of Oakvale
killed the Guildmaster. It's said that the words, "Your health is low" were
carved into his forehead.

         C. Walkthrough [MNQS]
[[===========================================================================]]

In this section of the FAQ I will guide you through Fable II's main story
giving you advice and suggestions along the way.

And so our story begins...

[[====== 1. Childhood ================================[CHOD]=================]]

The game starts with a beautiful cutscene showing off Bowerstone and a bird...
crapping on your head. When your sister Rose tells you to look, pull LT to
zoom in on the action, which is the Fairfax castle. You can do this in many of
Fable II's cutscenes.

Now follow Rose and you will meet a friendly chap called Arfur, now follow her
to your objective, which is a trader fooling people into buying his stuff.
After the little Magic Box presentation you meet Theresa that tells you that
you really should buy the Magic Box. However, to get the box, you need 5 gold
pieces.

In front of you, you should see a guard with a question mark above his head,
this means that he has a quest for you and the question mark always means that
there is a quest or something else you can do.

Walk up to the guard and he will ask you to collect his arrest warrants, hold
A to accept and continue on to Barnum, who asks you to pose for his photograph.
Accept once again and you will have to do an expression; choose an expression
and then press the direction of the expression you want on the D-Pad. That's
one gold piece.

Now continue down the alleyway here and you will see a bully attacking a dog,
when Rose interferes he headbutts her, so it's time to take him to school.
Press X to take out your sword and tap X to beat the crap out of him. You can
also press Y to take out your pistol and shoot him in the face.

Continue down this street and you will find the first warrant by the lamppost
on the right, continue down the street and you will come out to an open area
with a large box by the stairs with the second warrant next to it. To the left
past the two people talking is the third warrant by the lamppost and the
building stairs.

Now go up the stairs to the large building and the guy standing by the door, he
asks you to kill the beetles on the second floor, accept and you will appear
in the building. Arfur then appears in the window and tells you to smash his
stock up instead. Its your choice, kill the beetles with the pistol with Y, or
smash all the crates. That's 2 gold pieces.

Once you've done that walk up to the two people I mentioned earlier and accept
to recover Pete's booze. To the right of the stairs leading up to the warehouse
is a small alley with the beggar sleeping in it, run up to the bottle next to
him and press A to steal it. Then return to Pete and decide who to give the
booze to, choose wisely. Once you choose you get the fourth warrant and the
third gold piece.

Now turn around and you will see the dog you saved before with the last warrant
next to him, pick it up and make your way back to the guard that wants the
warrants. On your way back you will be confronted by Arfur because he wants the
warrants, choose who you want to give them to: the Derek or Arfur. If you want
to give them to the guard, just ignore Arfur. Whatever you do, you get another
gold piece.

Now go up to the man by the guard that's talking to the girl on the balcony,
once he walks of in disappointment walk up to him and accept to deliver the
letter. Go up to the house and knock on the door using A, once it opens you can
choose to give it to the mother, or you can run upstairs and give it to the
girl. Once you're done, you get the last gold piece.

Now walk up to Murgo the trader and buy the Music Box. Now go back to where you
started the game and you will see a box with a red cloth on it by the tree and
use the magic box. Now follow Rose back to your shelter and press A on the bed
to go to bed, you then get summoned to Fairfax castle, walk up to the guards
and accept. Then follow Jeeves to Lucien's study, would you kindly stand on the
circle when Lucien tells you to and then enjoy the show.

[[====== 2. The Birth of a Hero ======================[TBOH]=================]]

Now that you are all grown up, turn right and run down the path into The Gypsy
Camp, past the camp fire and up to your caravan. Grab your stuff from the
chest: you get a Rusty Longsword, a Light Splintered Crossbow, a Placebo Health
Potion, Dog Elixir (which heals your dog and never ends), a Collar of Holding
so you can rename your Dog and finally a Spade to dig up treasure that your dog
detects.

Now go up to Theresa, who is standing by the gate under the bridge, she gives
you the Bower Lake Tomb Seal, then jump down towards the ruins by the water and
your dog will point out a chest with a Jet in it. Swim to the island with the
tomb, there is a Silver Key on the right side of the tomb if you want it, then
go into the tomb.

Go down the stairs and press A to dive into the water, swim towards the opening
and then vault down into the next area where you will fight some Giant Beetles.
You should try out your weapons now, after you kill them make sure you hold RT
to suck up the experience and always do so after killing enemies. There is a
Silver Key behind some rocks here, then continue into the next beetle infested
tunnel. Once you come out of it there are two gates: one on the left and one on
the right, go into the gate on the left and open the chest for 100 gold.

Now go up to the other gate and a Flit Switch activates, press Y to shoot it
and continue through the next tunnel, there is a tunnel on the left in here
which leads to a chest with a Rusty Mace. I suggest you press X to Use it
because it's better than your Rusty Longsword. Then continue along the main
tunnel until you reach the water. Swim to the right to find a platform with a
skeleton on it, press A to search the skeleton when it turns green and you will
get Brendan's Diary. Now opposite this place is another platform with another
skeleton, search it to get Erik's Letter. Now go into the opening from the
water and into another tunnel where you will find the last skeleton, search it
to get Drake's Suicide Note.

When you come out of the tunnel you will be above the area you were just
swimming in, if you searched the skeletons like I told you there will be
ripples in the water below. Dive down into the water and then press A to dive
near the ripples to get your reward: a Bewitching Augmentation. Now continue
through the tunnels until you reach a small room with a stone circular platform
and blue flames and stand in the middle of it. Another Flit Switch will
activate, shoot it with Y, then hit it with X and then shoot it once more and
watch the door open.

Continue along the tunnel until you reach a side tunnel on the left with a book
shelf, follow the tunnel into an area with beetles, books and two chests. Now
get out of here and continue along the main tunnel, then across a bridge and
into the Chamber of Fate. Go into the light to unlock your Abilities, now press
up on the D-Pad to go to the abilities menu, select Will and choose a spell. I
suggest Shock because it's the most powerful even though Blades has more
powerful Targeted Damage it's Area Damage is pathetic at higher levels. So I
suggest choosing Shock and only focusing on 2-3 spells in the game so that you
can get them really powerful later on (I will not tell you which Abilities to
upgrade but my advice to you is to be a well-rounded Hero. The game is more
rewarding this way and the combat is a lot more fun if you combine Strength
Skill and Will powers). Once you have chosen your spell press B to cast it
towards the Flit Switch, now use the Cullis Gate, you will appear on the Bower
Lake Hill Top.

[[====== 3. The Bandit ===============================[TEBT]=================]]

You can practice your spell on the beetles here. Then go down the hill and
follow the golden trail across a stone bridge (there is a Demon Door on a path
to the left here) and eventually you will reach Bert: a guard that tells you
that the road to Bowerstone will be closed until somebody deals with the bandit
Thag and his gang. Follow the golden trail to the bandit camp and go inside.
You will be ambushed by bandits, take care of them and Thag comes out of his
house and kicks your dig. Destroy him.

Reward:

Renown Points: 100

Trophy: Thag's Head

[[====== 4. The Journey Begins =======================[JYBS]=================]]

Your dog is now hurt, so walk up to him, press RB, choose Dog and then choose
Heal. Now go into Thag's house and open the chest for Thag's Cage Key, Rancid
Beef Jerky and 300 gold, you can also grab the Grubby Journal from his bed for
a laugh or two. Now go outside, a bandit called Dick wants the key, free the
people or give the key to Dick.

Now follow the golden trail to Bowerstone Market, once inside turn right
towards an archway leading into a building, move towards the stairs and you
will see a chest on the left. Now get out of here and turn right towards
Bowerstone's Big Pile of Stuff store and speak to the General Goods Trader, I
suggest you sell your Jets and the Necklace and I suggest you buy the Rubber
Ball so you can play with your dog and the Lute for an expression.

Now go across the bridge towards the Town Square and go into the clock tower,
Theresa tells you that she is going to be late, it will be 5 minutes until
she arrives. You should go to the blacksmith on the right and sell your
useless Rusty Longsword, then go into the bookstore "Fiction Burns" opposite
the "Up in Arms" store you are at now. There I suggest you buy "Treasure
Hunting. Book 1" and "The Dogs of War. Book 1", now go up to your dog and when
the book icon appears on your D-Pad press down to "upgrade" your dog. Later
on you will be able to buy better books.

Now do whatever you want until Theresa arrives, you can check out the Pub Game
in "The Cow & Corset" bar, buy some new threads or maybe work as a blacksmith.
When she arrives, she will be standing near the bar, walk up to her and she
will talk to you, you will also be able to use an expression in this scene for
the first time with the D-Pad. Then follow Theresa and she will show you The
Spire, now enjoy the show.

Once you get the cards follow the golden trail to Bowerstone Old Town, which
will be beautiful or a dump depending on who you gave the Warrants to as a
child (from here you can also go to the Bowerstone Cemetary where there is a
Demon Door) from Bowerstone Old Town follow the golden trail out of the city
and on to Rookridge. Follow the path and you will find a guy looting a
carriage, you can pick up some stuff here too. Continue along the path and you
will come across some bandits, kill them with your long range weapon and
continue following the golden trail to get attacked again. Then down the hill
an opportunity arises for you to ambush the bandits, do so, there is also a
Demon Door around here.

From here continue on to the broken bridge, the bandits tell you that you have
to dive, do so and swim to the beach on the left where you will find a guy that
needs help. Go into Hobbe Cave and he will follow you, advance through the cave
until you reach the room full of bones and the guy throws up. Advance further
and you will get to fight Hobbes for the first time, then go up the rickety
walkways, advance to the locked door and then follow your dog to the tunnel on
the side. You will reach a room with sand and blood, here you will need to
break through the wooden boards to meet Herman's son who is now a Hobbe. Now
continue through the next large area full of Hobbes and then out into Rookridge
again.

You can check out the Rookridge Inn a little up the hill here, once you're done
continue following the golden trail to your objective, before you exit
Rookridge you can get a closer look at The Temple of Shadows, if you so desire.
then enter Oakfield.

[======= 5. The Ritual ===============================[TERL]=================]]

Now that you are in Oakfield I suggest you sell all the useless stuff you
picked up on the way here, then visit The Sandgoose bar, you can try the new
Woodcutter job, find the Demon Door and you can also start the "The Sculptor"
side quest. There is also a Rusty Turret Pistol in a Dive spot under the bridge
here if you want it.

Now follow the golden trail up to The Temple of Light where the abbot will tell
you that he does not trust you enough and you need to get more Renown Points.
He tells you that there is a Bandit problem in Rookridge. Because the "A Bridge
Too Far" quest is technically a side quest go to the Side Quests section of
the FAQ to find out how to complete it.

Once you complete "A Bridge Too Far" you can go back to Bowerstone and you get
the following side quests: The Sculptor (again), The Temple of Shadows, Till
Death Do Us Part and The Archeologist. If you want to do them, go to the Side
Quests section of the FAQ to find out how. Once you're done, or if you don't
want to do them and just want to continue the story go to the next paragraph.

Now that you have enough Renown for the abbot to trust you, go to The Temple
of Light and speak to him, then walk with him while he explains what needs to
be done. Follow the golden trail to Hannah, who is by the Wellspring Cave, you
will hear her singing as you approach. Once she stops talking (something she
unfortunately enough, never actually does) and picks up the ewer, go down the
steps into Wellspring Cave.

Continue through the tunnel and the large open area with the steep decent until
you reach a large circular room called the Central Chamber. Go through the
first door which is on the left, advance along the tunnels until you reach the
room at the end (there is a Silver Key behind the platform here). Hannah will
go up the steps and stand on a switch, go stand next to her on the other
switch, the water will start pouring into the ewer, and Hannah is still
talking.

Now go back to the Central Chamber, on the way back you will get attacked by
Hollow Men (very fun to kill in my opinion). Once you get back, Hannah opens
the door on the right, go through the tunnel and into the room. Run up the
steps and onto the switch, the water will start pouring and Hollow Men will
attack. I would not get of the switch because the water will stop pouring,
instead use your ranged weapon and your Will powers. Once the water stops
pouring would you kindly head back to the Central Chamber.

Now Hannah opens the centre door half way and your dog runs through it and
brings back a severed Hollow Man head, Hannah talks for about 30 minutes and
then opens the door, still talking. Go through the tunnel into a large room
full of gates and you get attacked by many Hollow Men (the Inferno spell works
very well against them). After you defeat them you get attacked by a Headless
Hollow Man that has a powerful Shock area attack, so don't get close to him.
Once you terminate him, a gate opens, continue through into the misty room,
stand on the small circular platform.

[[====== 6. The Hero of Strength =====================[THOS]=================]]

As Hannah blesses the water in the ewer a gate opens up the steps and Robin
comes in, panting. He says that one of Lucien's men has a gun to the abbot's
head, Hannah says that she has to save her father, rips off a hammer from a
statue and disappears through the gate. Follow her.

As soon as you come out of Wellspring Cave there is a chest to your right, now
vault down twice and head up the to The Temple of Light. Hans kills Hannah's
father and you witness her smack Hans with her father, she then drops to her
knees a cries some.

You are now at the abbot's funeral, Hannah swears that she will avenge her
father and have her revenge on Lucien. Theresa appears and convinces Hannah to
come back with her to the Chamber of Fate, they teleport and you have gained
your first follower: Hammer, the Hero of Strength. Congratulations.

Reward:

Renown Points: 1000

Trophy: Golden Oak Leaf

(Notice the Golden Acorn on the abbot's grave? This acorn will blossom into a
beautiful tree as you complete quests and further the story line. I guess this
is like a massive "screw you" to all the people that sent death threats to
Peter Molyneux, the Creative Director of Fable and Fable II. You see, he
promised that there would be an acorn that you could plant at the start of the
game in the original Fable and that it would grow as you played through the
game. An idea that did not get realized in the first game, now in the second.)

You now get the following side quests: The Summoners and Donating to the Light.
Go to the Side Quests section of the FAQ if you need information on these
quests. That's, if you want to do these quests.

I suggest you follow Theresa's advice, level up your abilities, sell useless
stuff in Bowerstone, buy stuff you want and maybe pop into the bar for a beer,
or three.

[[====== 7. The Hero of Will =========================[THOW]=================]]

Once you're done with everything else, fast travel to The Chamber of Fate.
Approach Hammer and Theresa t find out that the Hero of Will is Garth, the guy
you saw at the start of the game in Castle Fairfax. He lives in the Brightwood
Tower (in Brightwood) and that is where you must go. Now would you kindly step
into the glowing Cullis Gate and hold A to teleport to Bower Lake. From here
make your way to Brightwood Road and then on to Brightwood by following the
golden trail.

Once you're in Brightwood, go down the path and you will come up to a gate
(there is a statue plinth that you can activate here for the "The Sculptor"
quest). Press A to open the gate and continue along the path, you will get
attacked by Hobbes and then you will find another gate to open. Press forward
and you will see a strange rotating thing, once you come up to the Brightwood
Tower's steps it will spawn Spire Guards. How nice of it.

Mess them up and go up the steps, kill more Spire Guards, go up more steps and
into Brightwood Tower (there is a chest here). Go up the stairs disposing of
the Spire Guards as you go, once you come up to the next level you see the
rotating pointy thing again, there are also more Spire Guards waiting for you.
Kill them, go into the tower and climb more steps to see Lucien's Commandant
capture Garth. You failed.

Theresa tells you that the rotating pointy thing is a Shard: an Old Kingdom
weapon of great power and that you should come back to the guild.

You now get the following side quests: Cold Comfort Farmer and Red Harvest. You
can only do one or the other depending if you want to be Good or Evil, if you
don't do Cold Comfort Farmer then you will not be able to acquire The Enforcer
Legendary Weapon later on in the game. You can also go to Oakfield and
commission a statue for the plinth in Brightwood I pointed out earlier.

[[====== 8. The Bargain ==============================[TEBN]=================]]

Once you're ready, fast travel to the Chamber of Fate where Theresa will tell
you that you need to find Lucien's old butler Jeeves in "The Cow & Corset" bar.
Go to Bowerstone Market, The Town Square and enter the bar, go up the stairs on
the left and then up more stairs. Once you're at the top, turn left into a room
where you will find Jeeves.

Jeeves tells you that all of Lucien's secrets can be found in his diary which
is hidden somewhere and only he knows where. Jeeves wants 1000 Gold and even
gives you "Jeeves's'Note" which proves it, (read it for a laugh). Then accept
to give him the gold, he will give you a map of the diary's location. Now
travel to Bower Lake, follow the golden trail to the diary's location where you
will be greeted by a Forest Troll.

To kill the Forest Troll you need to either shoot or use Will powers against
its nerve tendrils. Its nerve tendrils are the little white things that look
like worms. Don't get close to it, it will kick or punch you, instead strafe
around it shooting its nerve tendrils when they appear. Some of them are hard
to get to because they are on his back and some are on the insides of its arms.
And make sure not to stand in one spot because it has two different ranged
attacks: it will either throw rocks at you or hit the ground causing waves of
dirt to come towards you. All of its attacks will knock you off your feet so
keep moving.

As soon as the Forest Troll dies go to the place where it was standing, your
dog will detect a Dig Spot there, dig to get Lucien's Diary. Theresa tells you
that you can't read it without a translation and that you should bring the
Diary back to the Chamber of Fate in the Guild.

[[====== 9. Road to Westcliff ========================[RDWF]=================]]

Travel to the Chamber of Fate, approach her and accept to give her Lucien's
Diary so that she can translate it for you. Apparently, Lucien is recruiting
Guards from Westcliff, the ones that become champions of The Crucible, or the
arena. Now you need to go to Westcliff and become champion of The Crucible so
that you get recruited by Lucien, then you will be able to go to The Spire and
get closer to Garth so you can rescue him.

Travel to Brightwood, find Westcliff Road where Hammer will be waiting for you,
(it's the south road on your map). Now enter the Bandit Coast region with
Hammer and get ready to do a lot of bandit murdering.

(And it looks like making Hammer talk uncontrallably is all the rage around
Lionhead Studios.)

Continue through the open wooden gates to get ambushed by bandits, move up the
path for more bandits, then up the steps for even more. Now go down hill,
(there is a Silver Key to the left here and a lot more bandits), keep going
downhill to find a lot more, guess what... bandits (good thing Hammer is good
in a fight). (There is a path on the left that runs along the cliff edge here
that leads to a door, check it out if you want.) Now push forward up the hill
fighting bandits as you go.

Eventually, you will go over a wooden bridge and come up to a wooden gate,
Hammer breaks it with her hammer and you see a Highwayman for the first time,
or Assassin. Massacre everybody here including the Highwayman, then I suggest
you loot this camp before going on. Once you're done here advance across
another wooden bridge and into Westcliff.

Once you're in Wescliff, move along the beaten path to see a Balverine for the
first time, move forward a little to get attacked by two Balverines. These
things can be a little annoying because they can swing their claws at you very,
very fast. So don't forget to block, they can also jump from afar and knock you
over so don't bother standing charging spells at them. They will also jump up
into the air when they are taking a beating and almost always land behind you,
so be ready to smash them in the face when they land.

Move along the path killing Balverines and at some point you should hear a
woman scream, you will find her a little further on, she will tell you that the
Balverines captures her son and that she needs help, so she tags along with you
and Hammer. Go over the bridge on the left into an area with a few shacks and
stuff, from here go down a path into a misty area with some ruins and water.
Move along to find a stone bridge, go over it and run up towards what looks
like a long destroyed castle with Balverines sitting on the walls.

Go through the archway and down the steps into the Howling Halls. Once inside,
move through the hallways and out into a very large room with stone pillars.
It looks like the lady tricked you into coming down here to feed her Balverine
children, how nice of her. Many Balverines will now come at you, fend them off
with Hammer's help. Hammer will then decide that it's time to get out of here,
she decides to knock over the pillar you saw and make a bridge over the spikes.

This is where the White Balverine appears, it's white and a lot tougher than
the normal kind, try to watch Hammer push over the pillar for some cool
animation while fighting the Balverines if you can. Kill the White Balverine
and go over the new bridge with hammer, enter the opening and advance through
the hallways into a room with broken architecture and a chest. Pass it into a
circular room with a spiral staircase, go up the stairs and you will find a
Silver Key in a small alcove in front of you. Now go through the last hallway
to get out of the Howling Halls and into Westcliff.

Once you get out of the Howling Halls you get the following quests: Westcliff
Development, Defender of the Light, The Oakfield Massacre (if you joined The
Temple of Shadows) and Westcliff Shooting Range. Do the Westcliff Shooting
Range if you want the "The Red Dragon" Legendary Weapon. There is also another
statue plinth here in Westcliff, it's at the end of the path to the right
before the bridge leading to the Westcliff Shooting Range. You can't leave
Westcliff right now which means you can't do Defender of the Light or The
Oakfield Massacre until you defeat The Crucible.

[[====== 10. The Crucible ============================[TECE]=================]]

Now that you have some peace and quiet you can press START to go to the main
menu, then go to Items and then to Books & Documents to listen to Lucien's
Diary which is very interesting. Once you're done, read on.

Walk up the path to Westcliff Camp, Theresa will tell you that you have to
defeat The Crucible, you will be met by a pair of hilarious guys, they will say
some funny stuff, follow you around a little and then give up and bugger off to
go and get drunk. What a lovely place Wescliff is.

When you are ready, go up the steps of The Crucible, Mad-dog and Allen will
explain that whoever beats The Crucible gets to be in Lucien's Army and that's
what you need to do. When they're done talking, they will open the doors for
you, go in. Inside there will be a Travelling Trader so I suggest you stock up
on Health Potions and buy better weapons if you like. Then step up to the door
to hear a funny conversation and go through the door once it's over.

There are 8 rounds, if you get at least 5/8 Perfect Rounds you will get a
bonus Prize of 5000 Gold. To get a Perfect Round beat the Target Time. Also,
while fighting glowing bags of Gold will appear that you can pick up, these
appear every time you defeat a wave of enemies. The amount of money in the bag
depends on the Excitement Level of the audience. If you get the Excitement up
to X5, you get 2000 Gold. Avoid getting hit to increase the Excitement Level.
Every time you beat a round a door will open leading to the next one and every
3 rounds there is a Trader room where you can stock up on stuff. There are 8
rounds in total meaning that there will be 2 Trader rooms. Now continue on to
the First Round.

Round 1: Giant Beetles

Target Time: 1:45

This first round is just 3 waves of increasingly tough Giant Beetles. Piece of
cake.

Round 2: Hobbes

Target Time: 1:50

Also pretty easy, you can use the switches on the floor here to get the crowd
excited and to impale the Hobbes.

Round 3: Hobbes

Target Time: 2:25

You can shoot the explosive barrels in this room to hurt the Hobbes and also
you can knock them into the hole in the centre of the arena.

Trader Room

Round 4: Hollow Men

Target Time: 2:30

This is also very easy because of how stupid and slow they are, I suggest you
use a fast weapon.

Round 5: Bandits

Target Time: 2:10

These guys are tougher than everything else you've faced so far but this is
still easy, there are also explosive barrels here to help you. Go for the ones
on the bridge first. Use you Flourishes if you have the power.

Round 6: Bandits & Highwaymen

Target Time: 2:00

This round can actually get quite tough because you are constantly getting
attacked at close and long range by bandits with guns. Step on the switches to
burn the guys that are around you with the guns.

Trader Room

Round 7: Balverines & White Balverine

Target Time: 2:35

This is tough but they don't throw many at you at the same time so it's not too
bad. Don't forget that when they jump up, they always land behind you.

Round 8: Rock Troll & Hobbes

Target Time: 1:50

This is easy just don't get close to it and keep moving, Hobbes will also
appear and when they do, deal with them quickly so you can focus on the Rock
Troll. To kill the troll, shoot its nerve tendrils.

Reward: Crucible Trophy

Now go through the door and use the Cullis Gate to Westcliff, go down the
stairs to meet your fans.

You can now do the "The Oakfield Massacre" (if you have it) or the "Defender
of the Light" quests. If you don't do any of the quests, The Temple of Light
will be destroyed, if you do the "The Oakfield Massacre" (if you have it)
quest, the Temple of Light will be destroyed and if you do the "Defender of the
Light" quest, The Temple of Shadows will be destroyed.

[[====== 11. The Spire ===============================[TESE]=================]]

When you are ready, go to Westcliff and go to the docks where you will meet
Hammer, make your way down to the beach and head towards the ship while Hammer
has another one of her uncontrollable rants. Walk up to Raynards and accept to
leave your stuff with Hammer while you travel to the Spire. Enjoy the show.

Day One

Walk with the men towards the white light while Bob tells you his life story.
Then you will see Lucien who is now old, he says that the world is a horrible
place and that he will use the Spire to remake it into what he sees fit.

Week One

A Spire Guard walks up to you and says that you have to be obedient and that
the collar on your neck will make you so. He also says that you can't take it
off because you will die trying. Once he is done talking, follow the golden
trail and eventually you will meet Bob once again. You will walk up to Garth
together, Garth tells you to be patient. Now follow the golden trail to the
Commandant, he explains to you who he is and what he does as well as what the
collar around your neck is for.

Now the Commandant paralyzes you to show you the Spire, look at it if you so
please, then he says that he is going to hit you and you are going to thank
him. You have 10 seconds to respond, either insult him by pressing Down on the
D-Pad or thank him by pressing Up on the D-Pad. Choose wisely.

Week 38

Bob has forgotten about his family and is torturing people, he is an epic
failure. A Spire Guard shows up and tells Bob to bugger off, he tells you to
report to the detention centre. As you pass by Garth's cell he tells you to be
patient once more; follow the golden trail to the detention centre. The Spire
Guard tells you to guard the prisoners while he gets some food, he forbids you
to touch the food controls too and then teases the prisoner. When he leaves you
can either feed the prisoners by pulling the levers by their cells or starve
them. Choose wisely.

Week 137

A Spire Guard tells you that the Commandant wants to see you, up ahead you can
communicate with Garth once more and then follow the golden trail to the
Commandant. The Commandant tells you to kill your best friend Bob with the
sword. Hold A to take the sword, you can now kill Bob or beat up the
Commandant. Choose wisely and then enjoy the show.

Many Years Later...

A Spire Guard tells you to report to the Commandant, follow the golden trail to
him, he tells you to find a missing guard. Obey or disobey you will still end
up going to the guard so follow the golden trail to him. Once you reach the
dead guard press A to Search Body. You will get a Steel Cutlass, a Steel
Clockwork Pistol and 3 Cure-All Health Potions. Garth reveals himself and
breaks your collar off with his remaining Will power. He is defenseless now so
you have to protect him. Now follow the golden trail to the Commandant's
chamber killing Spire Guards as you go.

When you get to the Commandant's chamber Garth will tell you to look at the
new recruits being brought in, do so by pulling LT and then release to see
Garth get shocked by the Commandant. Now fight the Commandant, he is very
powerful and hard to beat because of his powerful Will powers and the fact that
there are other Spire Guards around trying to rip your head off. The best
strategy I found is to rush him with your melee weapon and hope for the best.

Once the Commandant is dead Garth sucks up the experience he needs to regain
his powers and leaves some for you too. He activates two Cullis Gates to the
docks and uses one, use the other. As soon as you emerge hold LT to watch Garth
kill the ships. Fight through all the Spire Guards with Garth now to get to the
last surviving ship and escape with the other recruits. Enjoy the show.

You are back in Oakvale now, your dog greets you and Theresa shows up to, go
over to her, she tells you that you have been away for 10 years and that Hammer
is waiting for you at the Inn in Rookbridge. Theresa also convinces Garth to
come back to the Guild with her and gives you your old stuff back. Garth and
Theresa teleport to the Guild leaving you alone with the... dog.

Reward:

Renown Points: 5000

Trophy: Broken Spire Collar

You now get the following side quests: Westcliff Development (if you started
the quest before), Hobbe Squatters, The Archaeologist and The Crucible
Champion.

[[====== 12. The Cullis Gate =========================[TCGE]=================]]

When you are ready travel to the Rookridge Inn where you will be greeted by
Hammer, she says that she knows where she can get information on the third Hero
and then runs away to go get it. Now you have to wait for Theresa to call you
back to the Guild, you can fast travel a few times or something to make the
time pass quickly.

Theresa will tell you that Hammer has learned the location of the Thief and you
should return to the Guild, travel to the Guild Cave. There you will find Garth
and Theresa, then Hammer shows up and says that the third Hero is a bloke
called Reaver, he lives in Bloodstone and is a pirate. The only way to get to
Bloodstone is through Wraithmarsh, to get to Wraithmarsh you need to use
Garth's Cullis Gate in Brightwood. The Cullis Gate needs to be activated first
though and Lucien's men are guarding it.

Once Garth and Hammer go through the Cullis Gate in the Guild Cave travel to
Bower Lake Road in Brightwood, then run down the path towards the gate to meet
them. Garth says that it would not be wise to go through the front gate so
follow him where he wants to go. When you reach the hill with the statue you
will see Spire Guards below waiting for you, which means that you will have to
fight your way up to the Garth's Wraithmarsh Cullis Gate.

You will be attacked now, go down the hill and over the stone bridge, then
continue up the steps towards Brightwood Tower where you will have to fight
more Spire Guards. Kill them and go through the big archway to fight a Shard.
Then go through the gate on the side to get into Brightwood Tower, go up the
stairs and you will find the Wraithmarsh Cullis Gate. Garth tells you to
protect him while he activates the Cullis Gate so prepare for a massive fight.

A Shard will appear and keep on spawning enemies, enemies will also come up
here from the stairs so be careful, stay close to Garth and keep them off him.
Focus on the magic users in the hats, they will keep pushing you about so you
just melee them real fast so they don't have a chance to attack. Once Garth is
done step into the Cullis Gate and hold A to teleport to Wraithmarsh.

[[====== 13. Stranded ================================[STED]=================]]

Your dog appears on the Cullis Gate and runs off, you get hurt and faint, an
old guy called Gregg finds you and puts you in a cage. He tells you that your
dog is probably dead, he decides that you're not from Bloodstone and that he is
going to burn you. Lots of fog appears and Gregg walks of into the distance
where he meets his doom.

The fog dissipates and you see your dog, Theresa tells you that the Cullis Gate
malfunctioned so Hammer and Garth didn't get through. Your dog gets the Cage
Key off dead Gregg and brings it to you, hold A to take them and unlock the
door. (If you go over the bridge on your right and then onto a path on your
right you will find a Demon Door [DNDR].) From the cage go into the water and
through the wooden archway that has an "Oakvale" sign, get out of the water and
continue along the beaten path until you reach another area full of water.

Step inside and you will meet the Banshee, the Banshee will spawn some little
girls with swords, kill them and the Banshee will be left defenseless, you can
now shoot it in the head or use Will powers against it or just smack it with
your melee weapon. If you don't kill it first time round, it will spawn more
girls, kill them to be able to hurt the Banshee and so on until you kill it.

Once it's dead get out of the water and you will find two paths you can take,
one going up and one bellow, use the one going up and you will go over the
bridge. Continue along the path and you will reach another bridge type thing
where you will fight Hollow Men. Once you kill them keep on moving and
fighting, eventually you will go over a stone bridge, go down some steps and
into the water where you will be greeted by a Headless Hollow Man and his
friends. Kill them on and proceed along the path, you will have to go into more
water and fight another Banshee.

Once the Banshee is dead go past the house, then over a small wooden bridge and
into the water where you be attacked by the third kind of Troll: the Swamp
Troll. You can use the bridge up ahead to your advantage in this fight and
fight it from above, but beware of the Hollow Men that might appear. Once you
defeat it,go over the wooden bridge and up more stairs, open the gate and
defeat the Hollow Men, open the next gate and go into the tomb to travel to
Bloodstone.

Once you're in Bloodstone you will get the following Side Quests: Treasure
Island of Doom, Rescuing Charlie, Love Hurts, Evil In Wraithmarsh, Something
Rotten, Brightwood Tower and T.O.B.Y. (There is a Demon Door to the right once
you enter Bloodstone [DNDR].)

[[====== 14. The Hero of Skill =======================[THOR]=================]]

Go up the path from Wraithmarsh road and turn left to see Bloodstone, Theresa
tells you to go to the biggest house there which is at the top of Bloodstone.
Go down to the Waterfront and from there wake your way up the stairs by the bar
to the top of Bloodstone where you will find the largest house, Reaver's house.

Go inside and through the archway to meet Stephen Fry... I mean Reaver. He
tells you that he knows why you are here, but he won't help you until you do
something for him first. He will show you something on a table, go over there
and press A to Pick Up Reaver's Dark Seal, you have to drop it off at the
Shadow Court.

Get out of the building and Theresa tells you that the Shadow Court destroyed
Oakvale, and that there is more to this task than Reaver let's on. Travel to
Wraithmarsh, then follow the glowing trail to the Shadow Court's entrance. Once
you're there, hold A to Unlock, watch Reaver's Dark Seal open the door.

Once you're in the Shadow Court go down the steps throught the rooms, you will
reach an area where you fight Shadow Hobbes. Now continue on to a corridor with
spike slabs, you need to run over the slabs at the right time to pass safely,
so move up one slab at a time. Step on the blue switch, go up the stairs into a
large room, try to open the gate to make shadows appear and defeat them to open
the gate. There are 3 waves of shadow, Hobbes, then Highwaymen and finally
Balverines, kill them all and proceed through the gate.

You have to Vault down here, then go through the last hallways to find a girl
crying in a large hall, approach her. She tells you that she read from a
strange book and appeared here, then Shadow Judges appear bu the golden thrones
in the centre of the room.

They tell you that for Reaver to remain beautiful one of you has to sacrifice
your own, you now have a little time to decide whether to take the curse upon
yourself, or give the Dark Seal to the girl. Choose wisely.

[[====== 15. Bloodstone Assault ======================[BAAT]=================]]

Now I suggest you do any Side Quests or anything else you have not done yet
because after you go back to Reaver you won't be able to do anything but the
main story quests.

Once you're done, travel back to Bloodstone, Bloodstone Mansion, go inside and
approach Reaver. Barnum is taking a picture of him, then Barnum tells Reaver
that it will take 3 months to develop the picture, Reaver shoots Barnum in the
face. He then tells you that he is going to return you to the Spire to Lucien.

Reaver's Corny appears on the balcony and tells Reaver that the city is under
attack, Lucien's men are trying to find him. Reaver is unhappy that Lucien
betrayed him while he was trying to betray you, he then opens a secret door
into Reaver's Rear Passage so that you two can escape.

Continue through the tunnels, you will reach a large area where Spire Guards
will appear, continue with Reaver across the wooden bridges while killing Spire
Guards (if you want). Then go through the tunnel into the room with water, more
Spire Guards will appear, kill them, go through another tunnel and you will
reach the railroad. There are lots of Spire Guards to kill here, do so and go
up the stairs to get above the railroad you were just on.

As you get on the bridge Spire Guards will appear from everywhere, be careful,
they might get you from the back. Go across the bridge, break the boards
blocking your way, continue down the tunnel and then press A to Vault down.
You will be able to hold LT to get a look at Reaver's ship from here, go into
the next cave, but don't kill anybody, Reaver will take care of it. No get out
of here to Smuggler's Beach.

Outside Hammer and Garth are waiting for you, approach the, after the talking
Reaver says that he is leaving and blows up the cave. A Great Shard appears and
blows up Reaver's ship so he can't escape, the Great Shard start spawning lots
of Spire Guards, kill them. Then go up to Garth who is on the left, he will
make the Great Shard open up, once he does shoot it up. Every time he opens it
up shoot it, you can also help Garth open it if you have Shock. It will also
shoot you with a laser type thing, but you have time to run away, so make sure
you do or else you will lose a lot of life.

Once you kill the pointy flying boulder thing Reaver will decide to run away,
Theresa appears and makes him stay, she also says that we have to gather at
Hill of Heroes. You then teleport there along with everyone else.

[[====== 16. The Weapon ==============================[TEWN]=================]]

Reaver wants to know what Lucien wants to do with the Spire's power, Garth says
that when he worked with Lucien he wanted to bring back his family, but then
says that he then decided he wanted more. Theresa tells you to stand in the
centre of the hill to get the weapon to defeat Lucien.

Once you do, you will suck up the other Heroes powers, then after the white
light fades away you will see that Theresa is gone. Lucien appears and says
that he is going to destroy Albion to make a new one for himself, he is also
going to take the Heroes for himself. Then Hammer asks what Lucien has done
with Theresa, Lucien says that he only listened, hmm.

Then Lucien shoots you, but your dog protects you and gets shot instead, then
Lucien shoots you again.

[[====== 17. A Perfect World =========================[APWD]=================]]

You wake up at Home and you're a kid again for some reason, your sister Rose
is there too, go out side of the house. You can kill Giant Beetles in the field
to the right, shoot the bottles that are all over the place and round up the
chickens.

Anyway, when it gets dark, Rose will tell you to go to bed, so go back to the
house with her and go to bed. You will wake in the middle of the night, hold LT
to see the gate far away, now go there. Go down the path through all the fire
and red stuff, you will hear music, keep moving and you will find the music
box, press A to Pick Up.

You will now be shown your transformation throughout the story, then Rose tells
you that you have passes the test. You can now go to your enemy and take the
music box.

[[====== 18. Retribution =============================[REON]=================]]

You will now be in the Spire, run up the stairs towards the bright light, once
inside, you will find Lucien sapping all of the Heroes powers. Walk up to him
and he will tell you that he is impressed with your powers, then he tries to
make you go to sleep but it does not work. Hold A to use the music box.

Then Lucien will try to explain what he's doing, you can shoot him, but I
suggest you wait. Once Lucien is dead, Theresa appears, she says that the Spire
has the power to grant one wish, yours. Hold A to Accept Theresa's hand. You
now get to choose what you want: Wealth, Love, or Sacrifice. Choose wisely and
enjoy the show.

Then the Heroes will talk about your decision, Reaver will want a reward,
Theresa tells them that she can send them anywhere from the Spire. Garth
decides to go home to Samarkand, Reaver decides to join him and Hammer goes
north to study with the warrior-monks. Then Theresa tells you that it's time
for you to go and that the Spire is hers!!! Dun Dun Dun!!!

The End.

I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

[[===========================================================================]]
         D. Side Quests [SEQS]
[[===========================================================================]]

Here are all the Side Quests in Fable II, or the quests you do not need to do
to finish the story. They are however, very enjoyable and in this section of
the FAQ you will find descriptions on where/when to find them and how to
complete them.

[[====== 1. The Sculptor =============================[TESR]=================]]

Location: Oakfield

You get this quest as soon as you step into Oakfield for the first time. You
need to go to the sculptor, who is in the northern most house near the beach
on your map, step up to her and accept to model for her. Then choose an
expression and hold it by holding A until the sculptor tells you to release it.

Reward:

Renown Points: 100

Your statue will appear on the plinth outside The Sandgoose bar in Oakfield
once you finish the "A Bridge Too Far" Quest.

From now on you will be able to commission statues of yourself from the
sculptor for Gold. There are 5 Regions to which you can commission a statue
and one of them is Oakfield.

Here are the locations of the statue plinths (including the Oakfield one) that
you will have to find and activate by pressing A before you can commission a
statue to it:

1. Oakfield: just outside the Sandgoose.

2. Fairfax Gardens: go into the main area and go onto the grass on the right
where you will see a circular fountain.

3. Brightwood: near the gate as you come down the path from Bower Lake Road.

4. Westcliff: at the end of the path to the right that's before the bridge
leading to the Westcliff Shooting Range.

5. Bloodstone: just outside of the Leaper's Arms bar.

[[====== 2. A Bridge Too Far =========================[ABTF]=================]]

Location: Rookridge

You get this quest once you talk to the abbot in The Temple of Light in
Oakfield for the first time, he tells you that there is a bandit problem in
Rookfield. Go to the bar in Oakfield: The Sandgoose and go up to the second
floor where you will find Barnum who will recognize you from before. He says
that his bridge fell apart and that he can't get it fixed because Rookbridge is
full of bandits.

Accept to fight the bandits, go to Rookbridge and make your way to the
Rookridge Inn, go to the second floor and kill the bandits. Go out onto the
balcony and round to the stairs where you will see Dash, run down the steps and
to the train station to kill more bandits. Get on the train tracks and run
after Dash killing more bandits as you go.

Keep moving onto more train tracks and then two a snowy area with more bandits,
now continue up the hill where you will confront dash himself. Shoot him in the
face or blast him with your Will powers. Once Dash is history go back to The
Sandgoose Inn in Oakfield and talk to Barnum on the second floor.

Reward:

Renown Points: 250

Trophy: Dash's Goggles

Book: Barnum's Thesaurus (Read it for a few laughs.)

Now that you have completed this quest the bridge in Rookridge is fixed and you
can go back to Bowerstone.

[[====== 3. The Temple of Shadows ====================[TTOS]=================]]

NOTE: To tell the time press START to go to the main menu and look at the top
right corner of your screen, the time will be above the Region Map and
to the right of your Renown.

WARNING: If you do not do this quest you will not get the "The Oakfield
Massacre" quest when you reach Westcliff Camp.

WARNING: You will not be able to do this quest after you defeat Cornelius Grim
in the "Defender of the Light" quest in Wellspring Cave in Oakfield.
That's because if you defeat him and help The Temple of Light, the
Temple of Shadows breaks up. Instead you could help Cornelius Grim
destroy The Temple of Light in the "The Oakfield Massacre" quest so
that The Temple of Shadows survives, but then you will not be able to
get the Legendary Weapon from The temple of Light. What you should do,
is get the Legendary Weapon from The Temple of Shadows as soon as you
get the "The Temple of Shadows" quest. Then, when you get the
"Donating to the Light" quest, get the Legendary Weapon from there
too. Then when you get the "Defender of the Light Quest" and "The
Oakfield Massacre" quest, decide which Temple you like most. This way
you won't miss out on any of the Legendary Weapons. Yay.

Location: Rookridge

You get this quest after you complete the "A bridge Too Far" quest. Go to
Rookridge and to The Temple of Shadow, a guy called Tarquin will be standing
by the Temple's gate. Accept to join the Temple and he will hand you 5 Crunchy
Chicks, they will appear on your D-Pad, now you have to eat them all in front
of him. I suggest you eat them slowly: eat one and listen to what Tarquin has
to say because he says something hilarious every time you eat one. Once you are
done the gate behind Tarquin will open and you can proceed into the Temple.

Just like an episode of Fear Factor then...

Now go down the stairs in the middle of this building into The Temple of
Shadows itself where you will be greeted by a nice chap called Cornelius.
Once the gate opens move towards the circle sacrifice thingy to get an
explanation of how it all works. There are also instructions that you can read
by pressing A next to the wheel. The goal is to sacrifice 2000 Shadow Loyalty
Points worth of people to get the Ultimate Evil Reward. Yay!

The most worthy kind of people to sacrifice are the Temple of Light Monks (the
ones with the grey robes) which can be found in Oakfield or your wife or
husband. To get people to follow you first get them to like you enough with
Flirty or Fun expressions, then use the "Follow" expression to make them follow
you. Remember, the more Renown you have, the more people you can get to follow
you at the same time. Then go to main menu, Quests/Maps, Regions, Rookridge,
The Temple of Shadows. Once inside, lead your followers to the sacrificial
circle and then pull the lever next to it with A.

The best time to make a sacrifice is at 12am or mid-night. You can check the
time from the main menu, look to the top right corner of the screen, the time
will be above the region map and to the right of your Renown.

Villager: Around 20 Shadow Loyalty Points.

Temple of Light Monk: Around 100 Shadow Loyalty Points.

Spouse: Around 200 Shadow Loyalty Points.

Once you make 2000 Shadow Loyalty Points worth of sacrifices you will gain the
right to participate in The Right of Unhallowed Wickedness. How nice.

What you have to do is get married and sacrifice your spouse. The easiest way
of doing this is to go to Bower Lake, The Gypsy Camp and get somebody to fall
in love with you with Gifts/Expressions. When the heart above their head turns
red you can give them a ring to get engaged (you can get a ring from Bowerstone
Market). Then go to your Gypsy Caravan and press A on the paper on it to Use
it, then select "Set as Marital Home" and you will be fully married. Then get
your wife to follow you with the "Follow" expression and fast travel to
Rookridge, The Temple of Shadows and sacrifice your spouse from 12am-01am.

Well done. You have earned the Ultimate Evil Reward. The Maelstrom. Yay.

[[====== 4. Till Death Do Us Part ====================[TDDU]=================]]

Location: Rookridge

You get this quest after you complete the "A bridge Too Far" quest. Fast travel
to Rookridge, Bowerstone Road and follow the path down and then up again until
you reach a wooden bridge on the left leading to a statue. There you will find
a crying ghost. He tells you that he wants you to bring Alex to justice.
Accept and he will ask you to make Alex fall in love with you and want to get
married to you, then you should give her his Rejection Note to break her heart.

You get the "Wedding Bells" book and the "The Art of Seduction" book. Use the
"The Art of Seduction" book to learn a new expression called "Seduce" and then
travel to Bowerstone Market. Follow the golden trail to find Alex, now seduce
Alex with the "Seduce" expression until the heart above her head turns red.

Now Alex tells you that she feels guilty about what happened to Victor and you
get the choice of either breaking Alex's heart by giving her Victor's note, or
marrying her so that you may find happiness together. Choose wisely.

Now matter what you have chosen return to Victor in Rookridge for the
conclusion of this tale.

Renown Points: 100

[[====== 5. The Archaeologist ========================[TEAT]=================]]

NOTE: If you return to Belle with an Ancient Scroll and she does not ask you to
get another one it means that you have not yet been in the region the
next Ancient Scroll is located in.

NOTE: If you come into a region and your dog does not detect the Dig Spot it's
usually because you are being attacked or there are enemies nearby, so
      don't fret.

until you complete the "The Spire" quest.

Bowerstone Market and from there make your way to Fairfax Gardens. Follow the
golden trail to find Belle, she will ask you to collect an artifact for her.
Accept to get Belle's Research Note (you will be seeing a lot of these).

Now press START, Items, Books & Documents and have a look at Belle's Research
Note. On it, is a hint as to where the artifact rests.

"My research proves conclusively that the first artifact is hidden somewhere in
the oldest part of the city."

Obviously this means that the artifact is in Bowerstone Old Town. What you have
to do is travel to Bowerstone Old Town, once there, your dog will immediately
detect a Dig Spot. Follow your dog to the Dig Spot and dig up an Ancient Scroll
by pressing down on the D-Pad when the icon appears. You will then have to
return to Belle in Fairfax Gardens and give her the Ancient Scroll with A.

She then asks you to find another artifact, if you accept, she will give you
another note with another hint to the location and once again you will have to
guess which region the artifact is in. Once again your dog will detect a Dig
Spot no matter where you are in that region, unless the artifact is in a cave
in that region. You have to do this many times until you collect every last one
of the Ancient Scrolls.

Cemetery, kill 100 Hollow Men and retrieve The Book of the Extremely Dead.

Alright then, go into the Bowerstone Cemetery, (there is a Demon Door to the
right as you enter this area) you need to run around the cemetery. While doing
so, you will be attacked by Hollow Men in a few places in groups of 20 or 30.
In other words, find the Hollow Men spawn points and slaughter all of them. The
golden trail will lead you to the Hollow Men as well as The Book of the
Extremely Dead in the end.

The book is in a tomb, grab it and return to the brothers Sam and Max in
Bowerstone Old Town. Give the book to Sam by holding A and he will read out of
it. You have saves them this time, but this is definitely not the last time you
will be seeing them.

Trophy: Hollow Man Head

[[====== 7. Donating to the Light ====================[DTTL]=================]]

NOTE: To tell the time press START to go to the main menu and look at the top
right corner of your screen, the time will be above the Region Map and
to the right of your Renown.

WARNING: You will not be able to acquire the Legendary Weapon from this Temple
if you do not complete the "Defender of the Light" quest when the time
comes, or if you complete the "The Oakfield Massacre" quest instead.
What you should do is get the Legendary Weapon from The Temple of
Light as soon as you get the "Donating to the Light" quest.

Location: Oakfield

You get this quest once you complete the "The Hero of Strength" story quest.
Go to the Temple of Light on Oakfield and enter it, Timothy will urge you to
donate gold to the Temple. To donate gold press A on the stone thingy next to
Timothy, you can then decide how much gold you want to donate. Donating gold
gives you Good Morality Points as well as a better reward that I will describe
in the next paragraph in 3 easy to follow steps.

1. Donate 1000 Gold.

Reward: You are now the next Harvest Benefactor. Good for you.

2. Donate 10000 Gold from 12pm-13pm.

Reward: The Harvest Reward. Which is The Rising Sun.

3. Enjoy your reward. You're a winner.

Reward: Happiness.

[[====== 8. Red Harvest ==============================[RDHT]=================]]

WARNING: If you do this quest you will not be able to complete the "Cold
Comfort Farmer" quest or the "The Blind Date" quest. This means that
Brightwood Farm will never get built, which means you won't be able to
         buy it.

Location: Bowerstone Market

You get this quest after you see Garth get captured by Lucien's Commandant. Go
to Bowerstone Market, The Town Square, from here go down the steps by the
bridge to go under it. Here you will meet your old pal Arfur, he tells you that
in order for Ripper's bandit crew to expand its operations in Brightwood you
need to get rid of a farmer called Giles.

Accept and Arfur tells you to go to the bandit camp in Brightwood and you will
have to whistle three times for them to let you in. Travel to Brightwood,
follow the golden trail to the bandit camp, once you're in the right spot a
bandit will say that "It's pretty quiet" so use the "Whistle" expression 3
times and Ripper jumps from a tree along with another bandit.

Ripper wants you to take care of Giles so that they can get their hands on the
treasure in Giles's basement and he thinks you're the right man for the job. If
you are, go to Giles's Farm now where you will be confronted by a bunch of gun
totting guards that you need to take care of to get to Giles. Giles runs at you
with a Cutlass while the guards shoot at you so I suggest you hide behind a
tree and wait for him to come. Once Giles is dead your mission is complete.
Well done, you helped the bandits that killed his family kill Giles.

Reward:

Renown Points: 750

Giles's Cellar Key

You can now use Giles's Cellar Key to go into the Farm Cellar at the back of
Giles's house. Once you're down there you will see a chest in front of you,
open it to get Giles's Manuscript, read it for a laugh. You will then be
confronted by Ripper, kill him.

There is a portcullis here that you can't open because you don't have Giles's
Portcullis Key. You don't have the Giles's Portcullis Key because you did the
"Red Harvest" quest instead of the "Cold Comfort Farmer" quest, meaning
Brightwood Farm will not get built.

To get The Enforcer, you will have to come back to Brightwood, Giles's Farm
after the "The Spire" story quest, there will now be a grave for Farmer Giles.
Your dog will detect a Dig Spot, follow the dog to it and dig, you will get

[[====== 9. Cold Comfort Farmer ======================[CCFR]=================]]

a small house. Knock on the door, Giles opens the door, he tells you that
Ripper and his gang killed his wife, he sent his son away until it's safe.

He wants you to bring Ripper to him, so that he can bring him to justice, hold
A to Accept, Giles thanks you and asks you to take him alive. Now you need to
go to the bandit camp here in Brightwood, follow the golden trail to the bandit
camp.

Once there, you will be attacked by Ripper's Guards, murder them and Ripper
will come out, hit him few times and he will surrender, he will put his hands
up. You will then get a choice, to Kill or not to Kill, that is the question.
I suggest you do not kill Ripper, Giles will appear and decide to take Ripper
to the prison in Bowerstone.

Renown Points: 750

[[====== 10. Westcliff Development ===================[WFDT]=================]]

Location: Westcliff

You get this quest when you come out of the Howling Halls into Westcliff. From
Westcliff Camp, or the middle of town you should see a tall wooden triangle
thing with a large metal wheel on the top on a small hill. There is a path that
leads up to it, go there and you will find your old friend Barnum there. Barnum
tells you that he needs 5000 Gold from you so that he can make the dump that is
Westcliff into a beautiful tourist-attracting town. It all sounds very dubious
but you should accept. Give Barnum the 5000 Gold.

He says that when his project is complete he will notify you by letter.

Once you complete the "The Spire" quest this quest will progress, go to
Westcliff, Westcliff Camp, notice how Westcliff is now a beautiful town with
shops and everything. Go up the hill to Barnum, he does not speak like an idiot
anymore and thanks you for your help.

Reward:

Renown Points: 1500

You also get 15000 Gold. Definitely worth the investment in my opinion.

[[====== 11. Westcliff Shooting Range ================[WSRE]=================]]

NOTE: You must have Dextrous Styles Level 2 to be able to compete in the
      Westcliff Shooting Range.

Location: Westcliff

You get this quest when you come out of the Howling Halls into Westcliff.
Follow the path that leads away from the WestcliffCamp, you will find a bridge
that leads to the Westcliff Shooting Range, approach the guy there and hold A
to pay 50 Gold to compete. There are a total of 6 different prizes you can win
depending on how many points you get at the end of the 3 rounds. There are 3
rounds in total and you must get at least 15 points in each round to get
advance to the next.

Below are the prizes that you can win:

175 points: The Red Dragon

150 points: Reaver Hero Doll (You will most likely get a different one.)

125 points: Cure-All Health Potion

95 points: Table Wine

65 points: Worn Double Bed

45 points: Dog Treat

Here are a few tips for each round:

Round 1: I suggest you focus on the people on the roof of the house and only
shoot targets below when there is nothing to shoot above.

Round 2: I suggest you focus on the people that are o the right watch tower and
only look left if there is nothing to shoot.

Round 3: I suggest you focus on the people on the left side.

Here are some general tips: The best kind of weapon for this in my opinion is a
                            Turret Rifle.

Always go for the Headshot as you get 3 points
instead of 1 point if you hit the body of the
                            target.

Learn where the targets you need to shoot appear
and devise a strategy as to which ones you will be
                            focusing on each round.

And lastly, practice makes perfect. On my first try
I got only 14 points failing the first round. On my
second try I got more than 140 points. So just keep
                            trying until you get it.

Section of the FAQ [IGPS].)

[[====== 15. Hobbe Squatters =========================[HESS]=================]]

Location: Oakfield

You get this quest after you complete the "The Spire" quest. Go to Oakfield and
to the Temple of Light, there you will find a guy dressed like a girl. Tommy
asks you to clear his cave of Hobbes so that he can go back to living there.
Accept and follow the golden trail to Echo Cave in Oakfield and go in.

Go through the unlocked door and you will find Cave Diary Page 1 as well as 5
Hobbes, kill them and carry on. (There is a Silver Key in this room). Continue
and you will find Cave Diary Page 2 just before the exit of this room and 5
more Hobbes attack you. Proceed into the room with the 3 tables and you will
find Cave Diary Page 3 on one of them. Go through the next tunnel to be
attacked by the last 5 Hobbes, in this room you will find Cave Diary Part 4 on
a table by the wall.

Now we need to kill the Hobbe Leader, he is on a wooden bridge up ahead, he has
a powerful Will attack so be careful. Once he is dead go over the bridge to the
chest, Cave Diary Page 5 is next to the chest. Return to the door at the
beginning of the cave to find Tommy, he says that you were supposed to get
eaten and attacks you. Kill him to get Tommy's Cavern Key, open the door and
leave Echo Cave.

Reward:

Renown Points: 3500

Trophy: Hobbe Leg

[[====== 16. The Crucible Champion ===================[TCCN]=================]]

Location: Westcliff

You get this quest after you complete the "The Spire" quest. You can now finish
The Crucible as many times as you wish, but the your ultimate goal here is to
get the "The Chopper" Legendary Weapon. To get the Legendary Weapon from The
Crucible you need to get 8/8 Perfect Rounds. This is very easy except for the
last round. Once you get 8/8 Perfect Rounds a door opens leading to a chest
with The Chopper in it.

Here are a few tips: If you have any powerful level 4 or 5 spells like Shock or
inferno keep spamming those on the enemies.

Or, you could just take out your most powerful melee
weapon and destroy everything as fast as possible. No
matter which strategy you choose the first 7 rounds are
                     very easy.

The last round on the other hand is very hard. You have to
focus on shooting the Rock Troll's nerves at the right
time, don't get to close to it or hit will hit you and
make sure you dodge all of its long range attacks so as
not to waste time. When the Hobbes spawn, you can either
kill them quickly, which is very risky, or circle-strafe
around the Rock Troll dodging the Hobbes.

Also if you have the "Blades" Will power you can try and
use it on it, but it takes time to charge up. However,
sometimes if you get lucky you can take out more than half
of the Rock Troll's life bar in the first few seconds of
                     the round.

If you are using a ranged weapon against it make sure
that it's powerful enough to take out a nerve tendril in
                     one shot.

Reward: The Chopper

[[===== 17. The Rescue ===============================[TERE]=================]]

Location: Where your Marital Home is.

You can get this quest after you complete the "The Spire" main story quest.
First of all you need to get married, I suggest Oakfield, go to Oakfield and
get somebody of the opposite gender to you to fall in love with you by using
Flirty and Fun expressions. You will know that they want to get married when
the heart above their head turns red, then you need to give them a decent ring
by pressing Down on the D-Pad when the appropriate icon appears (good rings can
be bought at the Jeweller in Bowerstone Market).

Once you give your loved one the ring, they will have a grey ring above their
head and the Follow icon as well, lead them to any home that you own in the
game (I suggest somewhere in Oakfield). Then set the house as Marital Home from
little piece of paper by the door, then you will be fully married. Once that is
done you will need to use the Come Back To My Place expression on your spouse
(can be purchased from the "Fiction Burns" store in Bowerstone Market, the book
is called "Come Hither, Dear"). Once your spouse has the Follow icon above
their head go to your bed in your Marital Home and press A to sleep.

You will get the choice of either Protected or Unprotected Sex, choose
Unprotected and you will become a father or mother. Now fast travel to
somewhere far away, then come back to your spouse, your kid should be grown up
now and running around. Repeat, fast travel somewhere far away, then return,
you should now get the "The Rescue" quest, if you don't, keep on travelling.

Once you get the quest, travel to the region your Marital Home is in, follow
the glowing trail to your spouse, she will give you Your Daughter's/Son's
Letter where he/she tells you that he/she has gone off to kill the Hobbes in
Hobbe Cave to be an adventurer just like you. Hold A to Accept to rescue your

      favourite.

Location: Bloodstone

You get this quest as soon as you enter the Bloodstone region for the first
time. Go to Bloodstone (obviously) and to the "The Leeper's Arms" bar where you
will find Salty Jack. Jack says that he can tell you a really good story if you
get him a beer, go to the Barman and buy any beer, Gutter Beer for example. Now
go up to Jack and hold A to give Jack the beer.

He tells you that he was sleeping by a cave when he saw the legendary Captain
Dread! He wants you to go and investigate it to prove him right so hold A to
accept, then follow the glowing trail to the south west part of the map where
you will find a path blocked by some weeds, destroy them. Follow the path into
The Sinkhole.

Move along and then Dive down into the water, Captain Dread will try to scare
you, ignore him and continue up the path by the beautiful ship. Once you're at
the top, go into the tunnel and then through the pretty door, here you will
fight many ghost pirates, then continue up some stairs into a room with a door.
There is a blue switch in this room with some boxes on it, kill the boxes and
step on it to open the door. Go through the door and up the spiral staircase
into Captain Dread's room, you will find Captain Dread's Key on a stool next to
his bed.

Use Captain Dread's Key to open the chest in this room and to receive the
Lever, now go back outside into the area before the place where you fought all
the pirates and look to your left. You will see a metal mechanism, approach it
and hold A to insert the Lever into it, then press A to use the mechanism and
raise the water level. Vault onto the ship and defeat Captain Dread's ghost and
and his pirates to get Captain Dread's Map. Go up the steps here and Use the
wheel.

You will be transported to Lion's Head Isle, here you will need to find 10
treasures. Each treasure is 1500 Gold. Below are the locations of the 10
treasures:

1. Inside the wreckage of the ship on the beach.

2. Swim out to sea and turn right, you will sea a tiny little beach at the end
of the line of rocks on the right.

3. From the beach go up the path and keep to the left and you will see some
weeds that you can destroy, do so and then Vault down onto the ship.

4. When you reach the large open area where you can Dive down into the water,
don't dive, Vault down to the chest on the left.

5. There is a Dig Spot by the tree in the large area with all the waterfalls.

6. There is Dive Spot near the tree in the large area with all the waterfalls.

7. There is a chest by the tree in the large area with all the waterfalls.

8. There is a small area with a chest behind one of the waterfalls in the large
area with all the waterfalls. Swim to it.

9. In the tunnel after the area with the waterfalls there is some wood you can
smash to get to a chest.

10. After the tunnel that's after the area with the waterfalls you Vault down
to a small platform with a chest.

After you get all that, return to the ship and Use the wheel to get back to
Bloodstone and Salty Jack who thanks you for proving him right.

[[====== 28. The Gargoyles ===========================[TEGS]=================]]

Dive spot under the bridge in Bowerstone Market.

Every time you shoot 10 Gargoyles, one of the 5 gates in the Gargoyle Trove

[[===========================================================================]]

There are a many interesting places to visit and things to do in Albion that
are not official quests, therefore not marked in the menu. Here are 3 of the
most intersting places to visit in Albion.

[[====== 1. Brightwood Farm ==========================[BDFM]=================]]

NOTE: If you did the Red Harvest Side Quest, come back to Brightwood, Giles's
Farm after the "The Spire" story quest, your dog will detect a Dig Spot
on Farmer Giles's grave, dig there to get Giles's Portculiis Key. Then go
behind the small house to find the entrance to the Farm Cellar.

First of all, you need to complete the "Cold Comfort Farmer" Side Quest which
you get after you complete the "The Hero of Will" story quest. Then you need to
complete the "The Blind Date" Side Quest which you get after you complete the
"The Spire" story quest. After you complete these two Side Quests for Farmer
Giles you will be able to buy Brightwood Farm, which is in Brightwood, Giles's
Farm.

Go to Brightwood, Giles's Farm, go up to Brightwood Farm and press A to Examine
Property: you can either Buy and Move In or Buy and Rent Out (if you have

Brightwood Farm, the barn that has all the sleeping sheets.

switch, stand on it to open one of the gates you passed on the way here.

you passed before will open, go through that gate. You will find yourself in a
large room full of sand, your dog will detect a Dig Spot. Dig in the Dig Spot
to receive The Enforcer Legendary Weapon.

[[====== 2. Archon's Knot ============================[ASKT]=================]]

You can get in here after you have been to the Bloodstone region at least once.
Travel to Brightwood, Brightwood Tower, go up the stairs to the now active
Cullis Gate, there is a broken ledge you can Vault off to get into Archon's
Knot.

You land in the water, get out and head into the first room, you will find a
Flit Switch in an alcove on the right, shoot it. The gate opens, go up the
stairs into the next room, here there are slabs with spikes that come out of
them if you step on them. Shoot the Flit Switch on the left, the candles at the
end of the room will light up indicating the slabs that its safe to walk on.
Below I will show you the way because the candles do not complete it:

 # I I I #
 I I # I I
 I # # # I Exit
 I I I I #
 # # # I #
     Start

Continue up the stairs, past the Animated Statue, up more steps and to a blue
switch, stand on it to activate the Animated Statue. Return to the Animated
Statue and use the Bloodlust Roar expression on it to deactivate it, the Flit
Switch is released from the cage.

Now run back up the stairs, hit the Flit Switch, it will move showing you the
safe way across the slabs, keep on hitting it to get across safely. Then go
through the gate, up more stairs and out into Brightwood. To the right as you
exit Archon's Knot there is a chest on the circular stone platform, in the
chest is The Daichi.

         F. Animated Statues [ADSS]
[[===========================================================================]]

These are animated statues that resemble expressions that you may or may not
have. If you do then do it in front of the statue, if you perform the correct
expression the statue will bow over and its mask will fall off meaning that you
are successful. If you do the wrong expression the statue will force push you
back, but it does not inflict damage.

Once the statue is deactivated something else is activated. There are a total
of 5 Animated Statues in Albion.

[[===========================================================================]]

1. Location: Bowerstone Cemetary, go to the main area of the the Bowerstone
Cemetery which is The Graveyard, there you will find the statue
right after you enter through the gates.

Expression: This statue is doing a fist pumping action, there is no such
expression in the game. However, when you get close to it,
different Rude expressions appear on the D-Pad. I used the
Vulgar Thrust expression (which can be bought in the Bowerstone
Market bookstore "Fiction Burns" in The Town Square. The book
you need to buy is "The Perv's Handbook") and the Statue
               deactivated.

This opens a tomb behind the statue, right before and to the
left of the stairs further into The Graveyard. In it you will
find a Flit Switch which you must shoot. It will then move to
another location, shoot it 5 more times in different locations
until you reach a large tomb up on the hill where you will need
to kick the Flit Switch. It will then seal itself in a small
pillar and the tomb will open. In it, is a chest.

Reward: Noble Lady's Hat, Precious Necklace and Porcelain Doll.

[[===========================================================================]]

2. Location: Bowerstone Cemetery, before the gate leading into the main area
which is The Graveyard turn right into another gate, then over two
bridges and finally through another gate. Look to your right to
             see the statue.

Expression: This statue requires that you do the Point and Laugh expression

[[===========================================================================]]

Demon Doors are ancient guardians of Albions greatest treasures and the like.
Each Demon Door has a request of some kind which you must complete in order for
it to open and for you to receive your prize.

Each Demon Door looks exactly the same; a large concrete slab in a wall with an
elderly face on it. However, they do all have different, interesting
personalities.

These doors can be found all over Albion and there is a total of 9. Below are
their locations and descriptions on what you must do to open them.

the proper expression (which you select by pressing RB). Below is a
list of the expressions you need to use in the order that you need
to use them. Beside each expression (in brackets) is a description
of how to acquire the expression.

like Middle Finger will only appear once you're a higher level hero

            9. Dance (You have it from the start).

Old Town walk down the path and keep looking to the right and you
             will see it.

Request: This Demon Door is really hungry and wants to eat meat. There are
some chickens near on the path nearby, kick them towards the door,
the chicken will splatter on the door and it will open.

the stairs is another tunnel leading to a large tree on a round
platform and behind it is the Demon Door.

Request: This Demon Door says that he will never ever open. What you have to
do is open all the other Demon Doors, then it will feel lonely and
decide that it will open so that he can join his Demon Door friends
in their magical fairy tale land. How cute.

Reward: Forest Sanctum, Marcus's Poem and 50000 Gold.

[[===========================================================================]]

4. Location: Rookridge, in the large open area before the bridge where there is
             a tiny bandit camp out.

Request: This Demon Door wants to see some dog tricks, you need to do a
total of 5, you can easily get 4 "Dog Trick" books from the start
of the game from the Bowerstone Market bookstore "Fiction Burns"
and for the fifth book go to the Animated Statues section of the
FAQ (Statue number 2). To teach your dog a trick stand next to him
and the book icon will appear on the D-Pad, press down on it to
teach your dog a trick. The game will then tell you which
expressions to use to make your dog do that trick, I suggest you
            write it down.

Reward: Memory Lane, Potion of Life.

[[===========================================================================]]

5. Location: Oakfield, top right corner of your map, near the ruins by the
             water. Pretty well hidden.

Request: The door wants to see true love and all that. There are two ways of
            opening this door:

            1. Get somebody to fall in love with you with Gifts/Expressions and
then get a decent ring from a trader (can be easily found in
Bowerstone Market). Get the person that is in love with you to
follow you to the Demon Door with the "Follow" expression. Once
there give the person the ring in front of the Demon Door.

            2. The second way is much easier: use the "Blow Kiss" expression on
the door. You get the expression at 2500 Renown Points. So if
you don't have it yet, spam the "Trophy" expression in front of
people or do a few quests.

   Reward: Homestead, The Hammerthyst.

[[===========================================================================]]

6. Location: Brightwood, go south from Giles's Farm and then turn onto the path
on the left, while moving along this path keep looking to your
right and you will see it. It's by the pond.

Request: First he tries to get you to bugger off, when that inevitably fails
he tells you that he requires cheese. You can get some cheese in
Bowerstone Market from the Produce Trader, once you have it, or if
you already do, hold A to give it to the door.

Now the door says some stuff revealing that he tried to trick you
with the cheese bit and makes up some stuff about you having to
look like the Sacred Cheese Bearer. You can get the "The Chops"
style from the "The Beautification Factory" shop in Bowerstone
Market and you can get the "Dreadlocks" style from the "Curl Up
And Die" in Bloodstone. Once you have those go speak to the door.

Now you need to get the Sacred Cheese Bearer's outfit. You can get
the Tart Skirt from the "Fiendish Fashions" shop in Bloodstone,
the Yokel Hat from the "Oakfield Clothing Stall" stall in Oakfield
and the Noble Shirt from the "Pants!" shop in Bowerstone Market.

It will also sometimes change its mind completely and decide that
you need to wear these items instead: Noble Trousers ("Pants!" in
Bowerstone Market), a Corset ("Bit of Skirt" in Bowerstone Market)
and Bandit Skullcap ("Fiendish Fashions" in Bloodstone).

Reward: The Sepulchre, Merchant's Cap, Knotted Skirt and Harlequin Trousers.

[[===========================================================================]]

7. Location: Westcliff, before the Howling Halls there is an area with mist,
water and ruins and before that, there is a short path on the left
which leads to this Demon Door.

Request: The Demon Door wants to see somebody very, very corrupt. There are
many ways of becoming corrupt. You need to be at least 75% corrupt
for the Demon Door to open

Here are a few tips: Buy lots of food like pies, meat, fish and
alcohol and generally anything that lowers
                                 your Purity and eat it.

Sleeping for 7 days also lowers your Purity
                                 making you more corrupt.

And finally, if you have any houses that you
can rent out, make sure to adjust the rent to
+100% making you real corrupt, real fast and
earning you lots of evil cash too.

   Reward: The Vault, The Calavera.

[[===========================================================================]]

8. Location: Wraithmarsh, near the place where your dog helps you get out of
the cage, there is a path that leads to this Demon Door.

Request: The door wants an audience for his play and you are going to get
it. Travel to bowerstone Market and start putting on a show with
Fun and expressions, once a lot of people gather round, ask at
least 10 to follow you with the "Follow" expression. If the game
does not let you get that many that means you do not have enough
Renown. In which case use the "Trophy" expression or do some quests
to get it high enough. Once you have enough people fast travel to
Wraithmarsh, The Drowned Farm, do not fight the Banshee, just run
backwards up to the place where you were trapped in the cage and
where the Demon Door is. It should be satisfied with this audience.

Reward: Terry Cotter's Army, Terry Cotter's Diary, Terry Cotter's Final
           Diary and The Perforator.

[[===========================================================================]]

9. Location: Bloodstone, keep to the right as you enter this region from
Wraithmarsh and you will see it.

Request: This door wants to hear you play the Lute. If you do not have the
Lute, go to Bowerstone Market and to the "Bowerstone's Big Pile of
Stuff" shop where you can buy it. Then return to the Demon Door and
perform a perfect "Lute" expression in front of the Demon Door by
pressing on the expression and holding A, then release A when the
bar becomes green and the small white thingy is on it.

   Reward: Winter Lodge, Master Longsword.

         H. Legendary Weapons [LOLZ]
[[===========================================================================]]

Legendary Weapons are unique, you can't buy them in shops and are mostly hard
to get. What separates these weapons from the standard ones is their unique
design, description and augments that give them their special powers.

Legendary Weapons are also some of the most powerful weapons in all of Albion
but there are standard weapons that are more powerful, they lack the awesome
augments though.

There is a total of 10 Legendary Weapons in the standard edition of Fable II,
6 Melee Weapons and 4 Ranged Weapons. Below are descriptions of these weapons
as well as their locations.

[[====== 1. Melee ====================================[MEEE]=================]]

The Augments in this weapon cause it to inflict greater damage on lawful

beings, they were unable to control. Before it disappeared into its own
dimension, it slaughtered every one of them for their insolence, and left its
instrument of punishment behind as a warning to others.

at the Temple of Shadow in Rookridge and then sacrifice your
spouse from 12am-01am. For more information go to the "The Temple
of Shadows" side quest in the Side Quests section of the FAQ.

involved whirling among his enemies, shredding anyone who came in contact with
The Rising Sun.

Type: Mace

Base Value: 4385

Damage: 67.0
Damage Types: Blunt
Attack Speed: Slow
Augments: Flame Augment

The augment in this weapon allows you to inflict fire damage on your enemies.

It was first wielded by Vipress, a half-warrior, half-witch, whose beauty was
equaled only by her strength and her wrath. Men worshipped her, and she led
many of them into some of the most savage battles Albion has ever witnessed.

How to get: This Legendary Weapon rests behind the Westcliff Demon Door. The
Demon Door wants to see somebody very, very corrupt. There are
            many ways of becoming corrupt.

Here are a few tips: Buy lots of food like pies, meat, fish and
alcohol and generally anything that lowers
                                 your Purity and eat it.

Sleeping for 7 days also lowers your Purity
                                 making you more corrupt.

And finally, if you have any houses that you
can rent out, make sure to adjust the rent to
+100% making you real corrupt, real fast and

were said to become invincible when wielding it. According to popular myth, it
is the hammer that finds and chooses its next master.

How to get: Which means you have been chosen. This Legendary Weapon rests
behind the Oakfield Demon Door. To open the Demon Door all you have
to do is blow it a kiss with the "Blow Kiss" expression which you
get at 2500 Renown. If you do not have enough renown do a few
quests and use the "Trophy" expression.

[[===========================================================================]]

* The Chopper *

Type: Axe

Base Value: 16200

Damage: 86.0
Damage Types: Cutting
Attack Speed: Slow
Augments: Discipline Augment
          Stoneskin Augment

The augments in this weapon make you resistant to scarring, and allow you to
earn more experience in combat.

This axe belonged to the legendary Crucible fighter Mad-dog "The Strangler"
McGraw, who set the standard by which all other competitors should be judged.
The day he retired, he promised to hand over his beloved weapon to anyone who
could break his records, never believing such a day would come.

How to get: After finishing the Crucible for the first you will be able to do
so again as many times as you wish in the "The Crucible Champion"
quest after the "The Spire" quest. To get this weapon you need to
beat McGraw's records for every round. Once you get 8 perfect
rounds a door will open leading to a chest with The Chopper.

Here are a few tips: If you have any powerful level 4 or 5 spells
like Shock or inferno keep spamming those on
                                 the enemies.

Or, you could just take out your most powerful
melee weapon and destroy everything as fast as
possible. No matter which strategy you choose
the first 7 rounds are very easy.

The last round on the other hand is very hard.
You have to focus on shooting the Rock Troll's
nerves at the right time, don't get to close
to it or it will hit you and make sure you
dodge all of its long range attacks so as not
to waste time. When the Hobbes spawn, you can
either kill them quickly, which is very risky,
or circle-strafe around the Rock Troll dodging
                                 the Hobbes.

Also if you have the "Blades" Will power you
can try and use it on it, but it takes time
to charge up. However, sometimes if you get
lucky you can take out more than half of the
Rock Troll's life bar in the first few seconds
                                 of the round.

If you are using a ranged weapon against it
make sure that it's powerful enough to take
out a nerve tendril in one shot.

This exceptional sword once belonged to the legendary Zuna Daichi, a female

katana.

to get to Wraithmarsh, near it is a broken wall which you can vault

Archon's Knot, go through it and once you exit back into
Brightwood, you will be very high, immediately turn right onto a
circular stone platform overlooking Brightwood. On it, is a chest

to shoot him in the head.

How to get: Go to Westcliff and to the Westcliff Shooting Range. You will have
to pay 50 Gold to compete. To win this prize you need to get first
place and to do that you need to score 175 points or more.

Here are a few tips: Always go for the Headshot as you get 3 points
instead of 1 point if you hit the body of the
                                 target.

Learn where the targets you need to shoot
appear and devise a strategy as to which ones
you will be focusing on each round.

And lastly, practice makes perfect. On my
first try I got only 14 points failing the
first round. On my second try I got more than
140 points. So just keep trying until you get
                                 it.

            Legendary Weapon.

If you did the Red Harvest Side Quest, come back to Brightwood,
Giles's Farm after the "The Spire" story quest, your dog will
detect a Dig Spot on Farmer Giles's grave, dig there to get Giles's

This extraordinarily powerful crossbow belonged to the heroic farmer Sabre, who
protected his land from bandits and invaders using the weapon he had
constructed himself. It was said that a shot from The Rammer was like a
stampede of wild animals crushing its target.

How to get: To get this weapon you need to compete the "The Gargoyles" quest.
The locations of all the gargoyles can be found in the Gargoyles

make you prone to scarring.

The most powerful turret rifle ever constructed. The Perforator first belonged
to Maniac Mary, a bandit queen who lived around 150 years ago, and who managed
to unite hundreds of bandit gangs under her banner. Inevitably, such a
gathering of villains resulted in a violent uprising as her lieutenants
attempted to take the rifle, and the leadership, from her. After her fall, the
weapon passed through the hands of dozens of bandits, until it was lost,
seemingly forever.

How to get: Or not forever because I'm going to tell you how to get it. This
most powerful of the Ranged Legendary Weapons rests behind the
Demon Door in Wraithmarsh. The door wants an audience for his play
and you are going to get it. Travel to Bowerstone Market and start
putting on a show with Fun and expressions, once a lot of people
gather round, ask at least 10 to follow you with the "Follow"
expression. If the game does not let you get that many that means
you do not have enough Renown. In which case use the "Trophy"
expression or do some quests to get it high enough. Once you have
enough people fast travel to Wraithmarsh, The Drowned Farm, do not
fight the Banshee, just run backwards up to the place where you
were trapped in the cage and where the Demon Door is. It should be
            satisfied with this audience.

that does, then pull LT to lock on to the villager, then press Y to
find out what they like, then use expressions or gifts to make the
person like you enough to give you the Gift. Once they do like you
enough, the gift icon above their head will have colour and not be
faded out, pull LT to lock on to the person and then press A to Accept
        Gift.

        so.

Press RB, then choose an expression that has an A on the expression
icon meaning you can hold the expression. Then go up to a villager, use
such an expression and hold it then semi-circle bar will keep on
getting smaller until it becomes green. You have to release the
expression when the tiny white bar is on the green bar, it's all about
        timing.

6. [10G] The Romantic
Take a villager on a perfect date, or tag along to one. Location and
         expressions are all-important.

Go up to a villager, lock on with LT, then press Y to find out what
they like, pick a villager that has the Location and Expression
showing. Then take that villager to the place they like, there, do a
perfect expression of the one they like and you should get it.

7. [10G] The Spouse
Marry a villager, or attend the wedding of another Hero.

First, get somebody to fall in love with you by giving them gifts and
doing expressions, once the heart above their head turns red it means
you can get engaged. You need a decent ring, so go to the Jeweller in
Bowerstone Market and get one. Then go up to the villager that is in
love with you, press down on the D-Pad when the Ring icon appears to
give your ring to that villager. The villager will now have a faded
out Ring icon above their head as well as a Follow icon, now lead your
loved one to a house you own. Once there, Use the piece of paper by
the entrance and choose Set as Marital Home.

8. [10G] The Parent
Have a child, or be there for the birth of another Hero's child.

Once you are married, you need to use the Come Back To My Place
expression on your spouse (can be purchased at the "Fiction Burns"
shop in Bowerstone Market, the book you want is "Come Hither. Dear"),
then your spouse should get a Follow icon above his/her head, go to
your bed and press A to sleep, you will get a choice of either
Protected or Unprotected Sex. Choose Unprotected Sex.

9. [5G] The Hunter
Kill a sweet, innocent, fluffy bunny rabbit (remember, safety's off!)

Go to Bower Lake, press RB, then choose Turn Safety Off, find a bunny
in the grass somewhere and shoot it.

10. [25G] The Gargoyle
          Find the gargoyles' legendary treasure.

Check the Gargoyles and Side Quests sections for more information.

11. [5G] The Chicken Kicker
Kick a chicken a good distance, or see one getting kicked.

First choose a place to kick the chicken, there are chickens in
Oakfield and the Gypsy Camp in Bower Lake. Then kick it, but make sure
you kick it in a direction that does not have anything that might
interrupt the chicken's flight. You need to kick it 10 feet.

12. [5G] The Cliff Diver
Cliff dive 500 feet, or see another Hero do so.

While doing the "Treasure Island of Doom!" Side Quest in Bloodstone,
you will need to go into the Sinkhole, there you will need to Dive in
one place and that is where you will get the achievement.

13. [10G] The Workhorse
A Hero must achieve a high-enough chain while performing a job.

First go to the main menu, then to Quests/Maps, then Jobs, choose
either Barman or Woodcutter (Blacksmith is a bit hard). If there are
no jobs, sleep a few days until one appears, then go do it. When you
are doing it you have to get the Chain counter to 10, which is quite
          easy with Woodcutter or Barman.

14. [5G] The Hero of Many Names
Change your Hero's title, or see another Hero change theirs.

In almost every town (Bowerstone Market, Oakfield etc) there is a Town
Crier that screams things like "The time is, very late." Find him and
buy any other name than Sparrow, the name you start the game with.

15. [5G] The Teaser
Make bandits respond to expressions with fear, anger, mirth, and
         confusion... during combat!

This pretty hard, I suggest you level up your Dextrous Styles to 4
Stars, but you don't have to. Then go to Rookridge, find some bandits
kill them all off except one weakling, if you have Dextrous Styles 4
Stars you can shoot his weapon out of his hands. Then use one of
expression from each of the following categories: Flirty, Fun Scary
and Rude. The bandit should respond to them. Also you don't have to do
them all on the same bandit.

16. [10G] The Property Magnate
A property must be sold for twice the price it was bought for.

The easiest way to do this is to go to the "World of Chairs" shop in
Bowerstone Market or the "The Furniture Graveyard" shop in Bloodstone
and buy everything there, I mean buy everything, the best furniture
and the worst stuff. Then buy the "The Silky Moon" home in Bowerstone
Market which is to the left of the "Cow & Corset" bar. Now, go to
piece of paper outside the door, press A to Use, choose Enter
Redecorate Mode, now go into the house and change all the furniture
in the house into your worst furniture, then go back to the piece of
paper and choose Sell. Now buy it again (for a lower price this
time), go into Redecorate Mode, put all the best furniture you have
in, you can also put a trophy in this house, then Sell the house
again and you should get this achievement.

17. [5G] The Rogue
Steal something undetected from a building while there are people
nearby, or see another Hero do so.

Go to Bowerstone Market, enter the "Cow & Corset" bar, or the "Fiction
Burns" shop, go upstairs (when it's day time), go up to a cupboard or
something and hold A to Steal, you should get the achievement.

18. [5G] The Illustrated Hero
Tattoo every part of your Hero's body, or see another Hero do so.

Go to Bower Lake, The Gypsy Camp, find the Tattooist there and get a
Face and a Body tattoo to get this achievement.

19. [10G] The Executioner
Sacrifice ten people in the Temple of Shadows, or see another Hero do
          so.

20. [10G] The Gambler
A Hero must win 500 gold at a pub game in one setting, having tried
each game type at least once.

I suggest you do this in Bloodstone, go to the "The Leper's Arms" bar
and find the Game Master outside of it. Press A on him to play
Bloodstone, which is a different kind of Keystone. Place your Arch
bet on 3 or 18, then place your Inside bets on the entire bottom row
of bets every time, press X to roll the dice, then keep on betting on
the bottom row and winning until you have 500 Gold more than what you
started with. You also have to have played all three Pub Games:
Keystone, Fortune's Tower and Spinnerbox. These can be found in
          Bowerstone Market, Oakfield and Westcliff.

21. [10G] The Bigamist
Get married a second time, whilst already married, or attend the
          second wedding of another Hero.

The villager will now have a faded
out Ring icon above their head as well as a Follow icon, now lead
your loved one to a house you own. Once there, Use the piece of paper
by the entrance and choose Set as Marital Home. Now repeat this with
another person, but you will need a different house.

22. [5G] The Swinger
Take part in a debauched bedroom party with several participants.

Go to Bloodstone, find girls on street corners and such that look like
prostitutes, use the Come Back To My Place Expression (can be
purchased at the "Fiction Burns"shop in Bowerstone Market, the book
you want is "Come Hither. Dear") to get 2 or more girls to follow you,
then go to the "The Leper's Arms" bar or to your home and sleep.

23. [10G] The Pied Piper
Start a party where at least five villagers are dancing, or see
          another Hero do so.

Go to Bowerstone Market, keep pulling off perfect Dance expressions,
people will gather and start dancing with you.

24. [10G] The Party Animal
Get five villagers drunk in under three minutes, or see another Hero
          do so.

Go into any bar in any town, go to the Barman and press A to buy
stuff, buy lots of any alcohol. Then use lots of Fun expressions to
make people gather around, once you have a nice crowd, walk up to
people, then press RB, Social, Gift, Food and give the alcohol, do
this quickly to at least 5 people, you should get the achievement in
          around 3 minutes in-game.

(which you can get in the "Fiction Burns" shop in Bowerstone Market,
the book you want is "The Perv's Handbook"). Then when a person gets
real unhappy they will run off to tell a guard, he will come up to
you and give you a fine.

26. [10G] The Black Night
Shoot the weapons from a hollow man's hands, blow off his head and
          then kill him for good.

which hand the Hollow Man is holding his weapon) and press Y to
shoot it out of his hand. Then hold up on the left stick to shoot of
          it's head.

27. [10G] The Duellist
String together a full-speed chain attack, or see another Hero do so.

First you need to get your Brutal Styles up to 3 Stars, then go
somewhere, then go into an open area where you can freely swing your
melee weapon. What you need to do is press X to swing the weapon,

weapon at a much faster rate. The weapon will make blue lines through
the air if you do it correctly. So you have to do this 5 times in a
          row without stopping.

28. [10G] The Sharpshooter
Hit three enemies with one shot, or see another Hero do so.

The best gun to use is a Steel Blunderbuss or better, go to the
Crucible, wait for many enemies to spawn and keep on running away.
Then turn around and shoot all of them at once, with some luck, you
          should get this.

29. [10G] The Archmage
A Hero must kill five human enemies with one spell.

The best spells for this are Shock and Inferno, get them to 4 Stars
or even better, 5 Stars. Then go somewhere like Rookridge, or the
Crucible and let 5 Bandits surround you, then charge up your spell
and unleash an area attack to kill.

30. [100G] The Ruler of Albion
Amass a 2.5 million gold real estate empire, or be there when
           another Hero does.

What you need to do, is own 2.5 million Gold worth of property, not
just have 2.5 million Gold. Just get lots of money and buy
everything everywhere, Castle Fairfax is a good place to start.
