Fortnite Voice Chat Not Working: How to Fix Voice Chat

While Fortnite is now undoubtedly the biggest game in the world, with millions of players logging in each day, it isn’t without its problems, as the new “Fortnite Voice Chat Not Working” error shows. Still labeled as “Early Access,” Epic Games’ blockbuster project has got its excuses ready, as it’s technically not a fully polished release, and issues should be expected to happen.

Fortnite Voice Chat Not Working: What Is the Error?

The Fortnite Voice Chat Not Working error seems to be affecting more and more people. With each new patch that’s implemented, more players report issues with not being able to hear teammates. This is especially prominent on Fortnite on mobile, where Android and iPhone users are finding it difficult to consistently communicate with their friends. What’s more, following the Fortnite 5.2 update, there has been an increase in the number of reports popping up on forums and across social media.

With so many reports of the Fortnite Voice Chat Not Working error, you’d have thought that Epic Games would have acknowledged the issue. Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be the case. We’re still waiting on word for some kind of official fix, as it’s leaving many players without any way of coordinating and chatting with their mates.

The only Fortnite Voice Chat Not Working fix that we can recommend is signing out and signing back into the game. If that doesn’t work, you’ll want to uninstall and reinstall Fortnite Mobile.

Until more information is provided by Epic Games, we really don’t have any more tips to give. Hopefully the issue is resolved soon, potentially in the 5.30 update, so that all players can enjoy the game in the same capacity. Fortnite voice chat is a huge factor in winning those Victory Royales, and I’m sure many players miss it greatly!
