We may have finally gotten some idea of the Fortnite Android release date. Quite, sources have been letting loose that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 9 smartphone might just come pre-installed with Fortnite Mobile. While we don’t have the exact release date for Galaxy Note 9, we do know when the phone reveal event is taking place. What is the Fortnite Mobile on Android release date? We’ll try to get to the bottom of it below.

Fortnite Android Release Date: When Can We Play Fortnite on Android?

Fortnite Android release date

While Fortnite has been on iPhones since March, it hasn’t yet made the drop to Android. It looks like we’ll be playing Fortnite Android relatively soon, however. According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is set to include Fortnite Mobile pre-installed. Indeed, it sounds as though Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone will get exclusive access to the Fortnite Android app. The reports indicate that Fortnite will remain exclusive to the Note 9 for around 30 days, with exclusive skins and free V-Bucks worth up to $150.

Unfortunately, we don’t know the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 release date precisely. We do, however, know the date of the phone’s big announcement at the Samsung Unpacked 2018 event. The event is due to take place in New York, August 9. Chances are, the new ultra-powerful smartphone will release either on August 9, or shortly after. We’re really not too far away from knowing everything about the new phone, and whether or not it represents the first time Fortnite Mobile will be available on Android.

So there you have it. It’s more than likely that the Fortnite Android release date will be around August 9 on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. If the rumors are to be believed, however, other Android users won’t be able to download Fortnite on Android until a month later, meaning perhaps early-mid September.
