PUBG Charity Showdown: Who’s Taking Part in the $1 Million Tournament?

Who says gamers aren’t generous? The PUBG Charity Showdown, the first of its kind, is going to pit 40 of the game’s best players together for the right to fight over a $1m prize pool to donate to charity. We’ve covered all bases: start time, who’s competing, an overview of the event and even how to watch, should you want to check in on the action.

What is the PUBG Charity Showdown Tournament?

As announced on the PUBG official site, the PUBG Charity Showdown is a tournament involving 40 players, divided into 10 squads, taking part during the Global Invitational event in Berlin with $1m to each player’s chosen charity on the line. While the rules haven’t been laid out just yet, we do know exactly how the prize money will be divvied up.

  • 1st Place: $600,000 ($150,000 per player)
  • 2nd Place: $300,000 ($75,000 per player)
  • 3rd Place: $100,000 ($25,000 per player)

PUBG Charity Showdown Start Time:

How to Watch the PUBG Charity Showdown:

The PUBG Charity Showdown tournament will be available through all the usual channels. That includes both the PUBG Twitch page, as well as their YouTube channel. Expect your favorite streamers to also be showing up at the event, too, provided they haven’t been eliminated early on.
