Fortnite Week 2 Challenges: Season 5 Week 2 Challenges Guide

It’s time to get your weekly dose of hype from the new Fortnite Week 2 challenges, which all Season 5 Battle Pass buyers will be able to track and complete. This is the second week of the new Battle Pass, giving owners seven new objectives. If you don’t own the Season 5 Battle Pass, you can still take part in three of the Fortnite Week 2 free challenges, with Epic Games now allowing non-paying players to join in on some of the fun.

Here’s what you need to know about the Fortnite Week 2 challenges, leaked early by the dependable Fortnite Tracker app.

Fortnite Week 2 Challenges: The Objectives

The Fortnite Week 2 challenges are made up of both free challenges, which are available to all players, and Battle Pass challenges, which are exclusive to those who purchased the Season 5 Battle Pass.

When it comes to the Fortnite Week 2 free challenges, players won’t have much trouble completing these. Dealing damage with assault rifles is a pretty standard thing to be doing anyway, as is searching ammo boxes. Drop into Paradise Palms and score three kills (which can be across multiple matches) to nail the “Hard” free challenge.

As for the Fortnite Week 2 Battle Pass challenges, things do get a little trickier. Loot Lake is about to get super busy, and that isn’t a great place to be hunting for chests, especially with players trying to land those sniper rifle kills (which is also a challenge).

Free Challenges

  • Deal damage with Assault Rifles to opponents (1000)
  • Search 7 Ammo Boxes in a single match (7)
  • Eliminate opponents in Paradise Palms (3) Hard

Battle Pass Challenges

  • Score a basket on different hoops (5)
  • Search Chests in Loot Lake (7)
  • Search between an oasis, rock archway, and dinosaurs (1) Hard
  • Sniper Rifle Eliminations (2) Hard

Though the Fortnite Tracker app has proven accurate with previous Fortnite challenge leaks, the above objectives are still subject to change, as Epic Games can tweak them before launch. If the Fortnite Week 2 challenges do change, we’ll update this post to reflect that.
