Datamining is quite the tool for those of us with enough time on our hands. A new datamine has pulled out some interesting info regarding potential Fortnite Season 5 themes and setting. While it doesn’t look like we’ll be playing on a whole new island in Fortnite, we will be shooting and building on a new Wild West map variant. As can be seen in the video below, the map isn’t changing, but it will sure look different. A lot of sand will appear on the map, hay, and Wild West iconography. Golly Bob Howdy. Our map is going through some changes.

Fortnite Season 5 Map Leak: What Is the Fortnite Desert Map Release Date?

As you can see in the video above, the place names are the same, but this is likely to change as and when the next Fortnite update comes into play. While we don’t know for certain when Season 5 begins, we do know that it will be soon thanks to all these leaks and now some in-game changes. Indeed, via a report on Forbes, we have some confirmation that Fortnite Wild West theme will be coming.

Landmarks have been disappearing, and some have been receiving replacements. One such landmark is a stagecoach. These Fortnite breaches seem to be slowly building up to the introduction of Fortnite Season 5 and a definite Wild West theme, which has now been found through datamining. Grab those spurs and throw on a cowboy hat pardner, because Fortnite is getting its most rootin’-tootin’ update yet.
