Fortnite Week 9 Treasure Map Location

Fortnite Week 9 Treasure Map Location: Haunted Hills Treasure in Junk Junction

The Fortnite Week 9 treasure map location can be quite tricky to track down, especially if you go down the honest route of finding the clue at Haunted Hills, before then making your way towards Junk Junction. While doing it the “proper way” probably gives some kind of satisfaction, I prefer the quick and easy way, searching for a guide to complete the “Follow the treasure map found in Haunted Hills” challenge in rapid fashion. If you’re of the same opinion, and want to find the Junk Junction treasure as quickly as possible, then read on for our guide!

Fortnite Week 9 Treasure Map Location

The first thing to note, is that you don’t actually need to go anywhere near Haunted Hills. The clue isn’t required to complete the Fortnite Week 9 treasure map location challenge. You can instead head immediately to Junk Junction, track down the treasure, and claim it as your own!

I recommend diving from the Battle Bus directly to the location marked below. As this is the challenge’s launch week, you can expect to see a lot of other players dropping in with the aim of also tracking down this Week 9 treasure. Don’t worry if you die a couple of times, as that’s completely normal. Persevere and you’ll eventually be given your juicy reward.

Fortnite Week 9 Treasure Map Location Reward

Completing the Fortnite Week 9 treasure map location challenge will earn you a big reward. This is one of the “Hard” challenges, and despite being relatively easy when using our guide, you’ll still be gifted a big bonus of 10 Battle Stars (or 1,000 XP if you’re already at Tier 100). What’s more, if you complete this and the other Week 9 challenges, you’ll receive an additional 5,000 XP.

Check back again next week, where we’ll be guiding you through the Fortnite Week 10 treasure map location challenge. Until then, enjoy the double XP!
