PUBG New Gun

PUBG New Gun: QBZ95 Specs, Location, Map

You can never have enough things to go shooty-bang-bang when it comes to a battle royale game. Case in point: the PUBG new gun is looking like a fine bit of kit, as well as something that will mow down your opposition with apoumb. But what is the QBZ5, is it worth using, and where can I find it? All the answers down below!

PUBG New Gun: What is the QBZ95?

Coming with a brand-new test server update to herald the release of new map Sanhok, the QBZ95 is an assault rifle that will replace the SCAR-L for the time being on Sanhok. The patch note specs are below:

  • The QBZ is an AR that uses 5.56mm rounds. It can hold 30 rounds per magazine, and can be extended to 40 rounds.
  • The QBZ replaces the SCAR-L in Sanhok’s item spawn pool (meaning the SCAR-L no longer spawns on Sanhok). The QBZ95 spawns about 1.4x as often as the SCAR-L used to spawn on Sanhok.

So, if you’re in the market for a fairly high-powered assault rifle, the QBZ95 might just be the gun for you.

PUBG New Gun: Where Can I Find The QBZ95?

It is worth noting that the PUBG new gun can only be found on Sanhok and, more specifically, PC servers running Sanhok. So, it is currently not available on Xbox One, nor is it on the Erangel and Miramar maps. Sorry to disappoint!

As ever, you can find the QBZ95 in lootable crates and out in the open, as you would any other weapon.

PUBG New Gun: Spawn Rate

According to the patch notes, the QBZ95 will spawn about 1.4x more often than the SCAL-L on Sanhok, which would indicate it will be a fairly common item to come across, should you want to get to grips with the brand-new PUBG weapon of choice.
