The Raiders Revenge Fortnite Battle Royale skin is one of the rarest skins in the game. It was originally featured in the very first season, when Fortnite hadn’t yet blown up. Now that the game has become hugely popular, there are many players that are eager to collect the loot of the past, which is unfortunately proving to be incredibly difficult, if not entirely impossible. Here’s what you need to know about the Fortnite Raiders Revenge skin.
Raiders Revenge Fortnite: What Is It?
Back in Season 1, the Raiders Revenge Fortnite pickaxe skin was made available through the in-game store. It was available for a whopping 1,500 V-Bucks, which is around $15. What’s more, to actually be able to click “Purchase” and buy the skin, players had to reach level 35. To reiterate: Back in Season 1, players had to grind through levels to then unlock the privilege of purchasing skins.
Despite the excitement surrounding it, the Fortnite Raiders Revenge skin is relatively simple in its design. It’s pretty much a standard pickaxe head, attached to a fireman’s axe, with barbed wire wrapped around it. Sure, it looks pretty deadly and apocalyptic, but it really doesn’t compare the zaniness of newer skins.
Raiders Revenge Fortnite: Is It the Rarest Fortnite Skin?
As with all Fortnite Season 1 skins, the Raiders Revenge pickaxe is one of the rarest cosmetics in the game. This is largely because it’s no longer available to unlock. New players who want this skin won’t be able to unlock it, unless Epic Games does end up bringing older skins back, though that isn’t likely to happen.
Additionally, this skin isn’t that all that stylish, and for $15, I doubt many players actually bothered picking it up. This would make it even rarer. If you spot a player wielding it in-game, know that they’ve been playing since the very beginning!
