Destiny 2 Forsaken Cost: How Much is the New Destiny 2 DLC?

Bungie tend to go big or go home when it comes to their expansions. Forsaken, the next slice of DLC for Destiny 2 is no different. So much so, in fact, that’s it might set you back a bit more than you were expecting. That’s without mentioning the three different ways to get your hands on it. So, what’s the overall Destiny 2 Forsaken cost with all its bells and whistles? How else can I buy the DLC? All that and more, Guardians, have been answered below.

Destiny 2 Forsaken Cost: How Much is the New Destiny 2 DLC?

The Destiny 2 Forsaken expansion, on its own, will cost you $39.99/£34.99. You, of course, will need a copy of Destiny 2 to play the DLC, and it is recommended you’re well into the endgame by the time you take on the challenges of Forsaken.

Here’s where it gets a little confusing. You can also get access to Forsaken through the Destiny 2 Annual Pass. That costs $69.99/£59.99, more details on which below.

There’s even a third version: the Digital Deluxe edition. That comes with Forsaken, the Annual Pass, plus the Awoken Legend Set which will include a new Ghost shell, emblem, and bow ornament. The Digital Deluxe edition is $79.99/£69.99.

While the Destiny 2 Forsaken cost can differ in cost from $40 to $80, you will need to decide which is the best version for you right now, dependent on how much time you’ll sink into Destiny 2 over the next 12 months.

Destiny 2 Forsaken Cost: Annual Pass Extras

The Annual Pass for Destiny 2 not only comes with Forsaken, but also three more expansions through to Summer 2019. They are: Black Armory (Winter 2018), Joker’s Wild (Spring 2019), and Penumbra (Summer 2019)

Destiny 2 Forsaken Cost: Pre-Order Bonuses

If you pre-order any of the three packages you’ll be granted some extra Cayde-related items in game. That features a standoff emote, ship, exotic ornament, and an armor shader set titled ‘Shades of Cayde-6’.
