Fortnite Guided Missile: Is the Guided Missile Still in Fortnite?

Is the Fortnite Guided Missile back in Battle Royale? This is a question that many players and fans are wondering right now. For those that don’t know, the Guided Missile Launcher was removed from the game entirely a couple of months ago by developer Epic Games. This was a controversial and saddening decision that left some players disappointed.

However, with the latest update for the game now out, it has many wondering if the Fortnite Guided Missile is indeed back for good. We are going to answer this question and so much more in this quick FAQ regarding the highly beloved rocket launcher.

Is the Guided Missile Still in Fortnite?

Well, is the Fortnite Guided Missile back in Battle Royale? Removed by Epic Games a few months ago and put into the “Vault” for an indefinite period of time, fans of the launcher have been unsure if it would ever make a return. We can, unfortunately, let you know that it is still not back in the Battle Royale portion of the game just yet.

Though the Fortnite Guided Missile could very well be the first weapon to make a triumphant return from the Vault, it has yet to happen. Instead, players might be seeing footage of the recently released Quad Launcher that did come out with the most recent update for the game. The Quad Launcher is a new rocket launcher for players to use.

Unfortunately, the Quad Launcher is no true successor or even temporary replacement for the Fortnite Guided Missile Launcher. This is because, for one, it is only relegated to the Save the World PvE aspect of the massive game. That means that players who haven’t bought the full game can’t enjoy its powerful four rockets at once in Battle Royale against other players for now.
