You are Jack Carver. A man that trouble seems to always follow. Ever since

his paradise was brutally torn away from him while lounging near a tropical

resort aboard the Lady Karma, Jack has become haunted by his new "talents"

injected into him by Dr. Krieger's lapdog.

With his feral abilities lying dormant, Jack sits in a bar and drinks his

sorrows away at his newfound paradise until a young lady approaches him by the

name of "Kade". Jack lays down some smooth moves and agrees to meet with Kade

later, but little does he know that the chance meeting with Kade will set up

his next hell as two policemen approach him and eventually knock him out then

confine him. Jack wakes up in a building and watches outside a cell window as

the police station is attacked by some strange character that seems to be

superhuman. And so Carver's latest adventure begins.

Far Cry Vengeance for the Wii is basically a remake of Far Cry Instincts:

Evolution for the Xbox. Far Cry Instincts Evolution is a side story that

expanded upon Jack's adventures after the events of Far Cry Instincts.

Differences in Far Cry Vengeance when compared to Far Cry Instincts: Evolution:

- Graphic degrade

- New Wii controls

- Jack Carver has a new voice actor (no more Stephen Dorff)

- New story cutscenes

- New script for cutscenes that appeared in Evolution

- More stages

- Slight changes to existing stages

- New character Kien Do takes place of Doyle in the story

- Machete takes place of Butterfly Knife

- Feral meter has been replaced with Predator meter

- Jack receives his feral abilities once again throughout the game just like in

Instincts

Glitches/Bugs in Far Cry Vengeance

- The game may freeze on you, and sometimes, it may start to freeze often. The

only solution is to reset the Wii and keep trying or start over. The problem

is most likely caused from the save system. Enter the code "GiveMeTheMaps"

and start from whatever stage you were on. The ending area of Stage 4 (with

the snipers) is where I had the most trouble during my first playthrough and

I have heard of others having the same problem in that one particular area.

If you can get to the next save point after the freezing starts then it may

stop once the game has saved again.

- Shots may travel right through an enemy without the enemy taking damage.

- Enemy shots may travel right through Jack without you taking damage.

- The cursor may stop functioning as if you were holding the remote off to the

side of the TV screen.

- The cursor may get locked in a certain corner of the screen and turn the

view.

- Enemies may get stuck in the environment rendering them helpless. This

happens mainly with feral warriors. Just shoot them to put them out of their

misery.

=====================

- Secondary Weapons -

=====================

-- 9mm Auto

This is your starting weapon and the main weapon that enemies will drop at the

beginning of the game. The weapon seems quite better in this version of Far

Cry since headshots are fairly easy to get. Firing at any other portion on the

enemy's body will not take much damage.

Range: **

Power: **

Reload: ***

Rate of Fire: **

Max Ammo (per clip): 15

Max Clips: 4

Dual Wield (Akimbo): Yes

-- 9mm (w/Silencer)

Stealth plays an extremely minor roll in this game so these guns are basically

useless. This gun uses the same ammo as the original 9mm, so you don't have to

worry about finding separate ammo for it.

Range: **

Power: **

Reload: ***

Rate of Fire: **

Max Ammo (per clip): 15

Max Clips: 4

Dual Wield (Akimbo): Yes

-- Bull 44

The revolver is the most powerful secondary weapon that the game offers. Each

shot packs quite a punch no matter what portion of the enemy's body that you

hit.

Range: **

Power: ***

Reload: **

Rate of Fire: **

Max Ammo (per clip): 6

Max Clips: 7

Dual Wield (Akimbo): No

-- G18

The G18 is found in the later levels of the game and is the most balanced

handgun out of the handgun variety.

Range: **

Power: ***

Reload: **

Rate of Fire: **

Max Ammo (per clip): 7

Max Clips: 9

Dual Wield (Akimbo): Yes

-- AM9

This is the only handgun that offers rapid fire and the ammo can be used up

rather quickly if you get too trigger-happy. It's a good weapon for constant

pressure on any one enemy much like a rapid fire primary weapon.

Range: **

Power: *

===================

- Primary Weapons -

===================

-- MP5

The MP5 is the most common weapon found early in the game. It has to be

reloaded often and runs out of ammo quick.

Range: **

Power: **

Reload: ***

Rate of Fire: *****

Max Ammo (per clip): 30

Max Clips: 6

Dual Wield (Akimbo): Yes

-- Auto45

This weapon is only found on the first stage. It is very similar to the MP5 in

almost every aspect except appearance.

Range: **

Power: **

Reload: ***

Rate of Fire: *****

Max Ammo (per clip): 30

Max Clips: 6

Dual Wield (Akimbo): Yes

-- Shotgun

The Shotgun is good for close quarter combat only. Its distance is severely

lacking compared to any other weapon in the game. It packs a good punch from

close range, but the rapid fire spammage from any other primary weapon is

usually better.

Range: *

Power: ***

Reload: ***

Rate of Fire: *

Max Ammo (per clip): 8

Max Clips: 3

Dual Wield (Akimbo): No

-- P90

The P90's are much like the AM9's. They run out of ammo very fast if you get

to trigger-happy, but they will spam an enemy with gunfire very well,

especially when dual wielded.

Range: **

Power: **

Reload: **

Rate of Fire: *****

Max Ammo (per clip): 50

Max Clips: 4

Dual Wield (Akimbo): Yes

-- Carbine

The Carbine is the best primary weapon that you can wield later in the game

since it combines the rapid fire from the previous secondary weapons along with

a scope for sniping. It has a silencer as well. The only flaw with this

weapon is that the ammo is rare. Enemies will not carry it later in the game

and it can only be found lying around.

Range: ****

Power: ***

Reload: ***

Rate of Fire: *****

Max Ammo (per clip): 30

Max Clips:

Dual Wield (Akimbo): No

-- Assault Rifle

The Assault Rifle is a good choice for later in the game, but the ammo is

rather rare. Some enemies will carry it but they are usually few and far

between. It has a mounted grenade launcher to help you gain more precision

with your grenades - they instantly explode when fired.

Range: ***

Power: ***

Reload: ***

Rate of Fire: *****

Max Ammo (per clip): 30

Max Clips: 6

Dual Wield (Akimbo): No

-- BC-74

The BC-74 is a decent auto-fire weapon for later in the game, but the reloading

can get you killed since it is so long. The reload animation can't be

interrupted that ofen and it takes about as long as the Machine Gun. Much like

the Assault Rifle, it has a mounted grenade launcher.

Range: **

Power: ***

Reload: ****

Rate of Fire: *****

Max Ammo (per clip): 30

Max Clips: 4

Dual Wield (Akimbo): No

=================

- Heavy Weapons -

=================

-- Machine Gun

The Machine Gun is the ultimate rapid fire weapon for when you want to spray

bullets a bunch. It's main flaw is its reload time, but it can interrupted

anywhere during the animation.

Range: ***

Power: ***

Reload: ****

Rate of Fire: *****

Max Ammo (per clip): 50

Max Clips: 4

Dual Wield (Akimbo): No

-- Recon Rifle

The Recon Rifle is the first sniper rifle that you will have available to you.

It serves as a good long distance weapon for earlier stages and also has the

quickest rate of fire out of the normal sniper rifles.

Range: *****

Power: ***

Reload: ***

Rate of Fire: ***

Max Ammo (per clip): 10

Max Clips: 3

Dual Wield (Akimbo): No

-- Sniper Rifle

The Sniper Rifle is the main long distance weapon that you will use in the

later stages. It is more powerful than the recon rifle back lacks slightly in

its rate of fire.

Range: *****

Power: ****

Reload: ***

Rate of Fire: **

Max Ammo (per clip): 10

Max Clips: 3

Dual Wield (Akimbo): No

-- Rocket Launcher

The Rocket Launcher is found very sparingly so it is best to only use it for a

while then drop it and pick up some other weapon since you won't likely find

any more ammo for it for quite a while.

Range: ****

Power: *****

Reload: *****

Rate of Fire: *

Max Ammo (per clip):

Max Clips:

Dual Wield (Akimbo): No

-- Blowgun

The Blowgun is best when used in combination with a physical attack. It will

disable the feral abilities of the later enemies, allowing you to get a free

hit while they are stunned.

Range: **

Power: **

Reload: **

Rate of Fire: **

Max Ammo (per clip): 1

Max Clips: 5

Dual Wield (Akimbo): No

======================

- Stationary Weapons -

======================

These weapons are stationary, but as Jack's feral power evolves he can rip

these weapon from their hinges by pressing and holding the C button on the

nunchuck. Once the weapon has been unhinged, it will contain only a set amount

of ammo and may not be reloaded. While carrying these weapons, Jack's movement

will slow, he will not be able to jump as far, and he must drop the weapon

while switching to another weapon, while entering a vehicle, or while climbing.

-- Mortar Stationary Weapon (Grenade Gun turret)

Range: ***

Power: *****

Reload: N/A

Rate of Fire: **

Max Ammo (per clip): 20

Max Clips: 0

The Mortar gun is just as powerful as a rocket launcher except the range

suffers when compared to a rocket launcher. It carries a decent amount of ammo

and packs the same amount of punch as a rocket launcher. Other flaws besides

the range include: it cannot be reloaded, it is usually rare, and you can

easily kill yourself by accidentally shooting the nearby ground, a wall, or an

up close enemy.

-- FC Stationary Weapon (Machine Gun turret)

Range: ****

Power: *****

Reload: N/A

Rate of Fire: *****

Max Ammo (per clip): 200

Max Clips: 0

This is by far the best weapon you can carry around. Go Rambo on your foes

with non-stop firepower! The range is just about as good as a Sniper Rifle.

==================

- Thrown Weapons -

==================

-- Rock

The rocks usefulness has been cut in half in this version of Far Cry thanks to

the fact that you cannot use Branch Traps in Vengeance. These can be used to

gain an enemy's attention once you have placed a land mine. Place the land

mine, run away and hide (crouch), then throw a rock near the mine.

Range: **

Max Ammo: Infinite

-- Grenade

This is the most standard thrown weapon that you will use throughout the game.

The grenades will bounce a bit when thrown to gain some extra distance. Later

weapons such as the BC-74 will have grenade guns attached to them that will

allow you to shoot grenades that will explode upon impact!

Range: ***

Max Ammo: 5

-- Molotov Cocktail

The Molotov Cocktail will shatter and the surrounding ground will burst into

flames once this weapon is thrown. If the enemy steps through the flames then

they will catch on fire and eventually die.

Range: **

Max Ammo: 5

-- Pipe Bomb

These are much like the grenades except you can to trigger them at whatever

time you want by pressing the B button after throwing one. Press the C button

is order to disarm them. Pipe bombs will roll on the ground once thrown, which

will help them gain some extra distance. Remember that you can trigger them

while they are rolling or while they are still in the air.

Range: ****

Max Ammo: 5

-- Land Mine

The Land Mine can be placed in the path of an enemy to instantly kill them when

they step over it. Hide and throw a rock once a land mine is placed to get a

nearby enemy's attention and watch as they walk straight toward the landmine.

Range: N/A

Max Ammo: 5

( ) Main Objective: Escape!

Jack will start this adventure inside the middle of a room in a wooden

building. Take this time to get used to the controls since they're quite

different from any other version of Far Cry that you've played previously. Use

the nunchuk's analog to move. The remote will move the cursor and allow you to

aim freely. Move the cursor to the sides of the screen in order to turn. Hold

the A button on the remote to lock the screen in place to where the cursor can

be moved freely without Jack turning. The A button will allow you to move

forward or strafe to the side while the camera is locked in place without

having to worry about turning.

_

|_| Find a weapon [OB11]

Leave the room then run down the left corridor. As the on screen phrase will

say, move toward the direction of the blue dot on the bottom left radar to get

to the destination of the next objective. Exit the building by moving through

the doorway in the office ahead. Walk toward the blue glowing area outside to

pick up the ++MACHETE++.

_

|_| Escape the Police Station [OB12]

Walk up to the boarded section of the fence ahead and attack it by pressing B.

You should really get used to attacking by swiping the remote however - swipe

to the right or left with the remote to slash with the Machete. Walk through

the doorway and tap D-pad Down twice to go prone (crawl). Tapping it once will

make Jack crouch. Lift up on the nunchuk to instantly raise up, or just tap D-

pad Down twice. Silently, walk toward the guard with his back to you in the

doorway ahead (crouch and move toward him) then slash him with the Machete for

an instant stealth kill. Hold the A button while moving to lock the camera in

place.

Grab the ++9mm HANDGUN++ from his body. Shoot the +--------------------------+

guards up ahead (B button w/9mm equipped) then use | >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

C to reload. Once you grab two handguns, press |==========================|

office in the north and jump up on them - lift up +--------------------------+

on the nunchuk while moving forward. Hop onto the side of the office then walk

over the roof and fall to the other side of the closed gate.

SAVE POINT!

_

|_| Find a way through the military encampments [OB13]

A few more guards will attack along the path ahead. Some will attack from up

in the shrubbery, so you'll most likely have to move past the trees and bushes

in order to find some of them. Watch for the cursor to turn red while moving

it. Go for headshots on all the guards for instant kills. Move north along

the path ahead and grab the Armor and health pack next to the building to the

north.

Keep following the path to the northwest and kill the next two guards. One of

them will carry an ++AUTO 45++ gun. I wouldn't recommend using this weapon

right now - wait until you get some more ammo and continue with headshots from

the 9mm for the moment. Press D-pad right to switch between weapons. Move

along the path as usual and stop at the box ahead to replenish your health with

the first aid packs and pick up the other Auto 45. You can now Dual Wield the

Auto 45's.

The tutorial for the Zoom function will activate once you come upon the river

up ahead. Thrust forward with the remote (or thrust backward) to zoom then

shoot the guard near the bridge ahead. Thrusting will allow you to zoom in and

out. Zooming will allow Jack to gain a slight advantage in the distance of the

current weapon. Zooming becomes much more necessary later in the game, so get

used to it now.

Hop over the bridge up ahead or move down the +--------------------------+

river. Both ways will lead you to the same area. | >> ARMOR PICKUPS << |

found in this area to practice with. Use D-pad up to select between grenades

and rocks or whatever other throwing weapons you will come across.

building with the stairs for some extra item pickups. Kill the first soldier

then check the nearby building for some more extra pickups.

* Note: Enter the second building on the right and run up the stairs to reach

your main destination quicker.

Shoot the red explosive barrel next to the turret gun as the soldier in the

back starts to shoot at you with it. Move toward the turret gun and hold the C

button to use it and kill the next wave of soldiers that exit through the door

to the left side. They will not appear until you move to the back of the gun.

They will carry auto 45 guns so it's worth activating the sequence and shooting

them.

Enter the building via the doorway where the soldiers poured through and find

the other door along the corridor in the back. A soldier inside the next room

will push over a table and start to shoot from behind it. Toss a grenade or

simply wait until he rises up then cap him.

stand near them.

with the glowing blue marker. Move down the stairs and kill the enemies then

get in the jeep by holding the C button while standing near it. Use the

Nunchuk's analog to move while in the vehicle and you can still aim with the

remote.

SAVE POINT!

Ram the gate ahead and watch the guards near the gate fly! Follow the path and

don't stress over trying to hit the helicopter that attacks - keep moving and

you'll avoid its fire. When you reach the next enemy camp, ram the jeep

through the board that flies down at the gate then exit the vehicle and start

firing at the soldiers in the area. Check the buildings for some extra item

pickups. You can find some health packs and a revolver on the second floor of

the east building.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

You'll need to move through the east building in order to get past the fence.

Shoot the explosive barrel near the tower to make it fall and hit the fence

guarding the area to the north and make a path for you.

Follow the path outside the camp to the north. It will take you by some rocks

and curve around them leading you toward a building. Kill all the enemies

along the way then find the armor and health packs near the building. Your

next destination is up the vines next to the armor and health pack so climb the

vines like you would a ladder to advance further. Check out the building up

the stairs for some extra item pickups before climbing however. You'll find

tons of armor, some Molotov Cocktails, and some shotguns while advancing up the

stairs. Run toward the turret gun near the bottom of the steps when the

helicopter moves into the area and fire at the enemies that jump from it.

Don't take the shotguns unless you are desperately low on auto 45 ammo.

The path at the top of the vines will lead to the +--------------------------+

SAVE POINT!

Shoot the soldiers near the cliff at the end of the path then walk up onto the

bridge that leads to an elevator. Press and hold the C button near the switch

to make it lower to the area below. Prepare for a gunfight with three soldiers

as the lift reaches the bottom. Follow the path to the east.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Before moving down the path as it turns to the northeast, kick the barrels out

of the wooden container to have them roll down the hill and explode. This will

kill the soldiers near the bottom. To make sure that you get them, have them

spot you or at least move toward the building then roll the barrels. Jump and

grab onto the zipline in the back of the building (north side).

SAVE POINT!

Look past the sandbags to the north to see three soldiers moving about below.

How will you kill them?

( ) Zoomed headshots?

(X) Grenades?

( ) Molotov cocktails?

Hmmm. Anyway, move down the path toward the area where they were and go down

the east side of the beach. Try to sneak up on the enemies along the way.

Turn to the southwest and continue to follow the sandy beach.

SAVE POINT!

Raid the buildings in the enemy camp ahead for some useful item pickups.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Move under the overhead bridge to trigger the next save point.

SAVE POINT!

A cutscene will trigger after moving under the bridge. Jack will gain (or

regain) ++PREDATOR MODE++ once the cutscene ends. In this mode, Jack will move

much quicker and you will be able to speed through the maps at a faster pace.

Predator mode will only last until the blue meter in the bottom right hand

corner empties however. In order to replenish the meter you will have to kill

enemies through physical attacks or headshots. Once the meter has run out, you

can still replenish it by performing the same task, but you will not be able to

reactivate it until it is fully charged.

Run to the south and sprint through the cave. Fall to the pool at the bottom

of the dropoff as you reach the dead end.

SAVE POINT!

The water looks more like fog doesn't it? Swim through the "water" and get up

on dry ground. Sneak up on the soldier at work up the ramp and kill him from

the back with your Machete in order to replenish your Predator meter some more.

Kill the next enemy the same way and enter the tunnel to the side.

Try to get headshots on the enemies in the tunnel to boost your Predator meter

even further. Continue to the west down the tunnel and you'll pick up some

Predatorine that will boost your Predator gauge a bit. This Predatorine is

only here for one purpose though (a tutorial), don't expect to find this lying

around in the game that much. Enter the elevator door that opens and walk over

to the controls. Hold C to activate the controls.

Jack will get electrocuted by the controls just a bit in order to drop his

health by one. The tutorial for healing will pop up on the side of the screen.

Basically you have to move the Nunchuk to the left then quickly jerk it back to

the right to heal a bit of Jack's life gauge. This will take a few bars from

the Predator gauge each time you do this so you will always need to make sure

to keep it charged at least by two bars. The action seems a bit hard to

perform at first, but you'll be swinging that Nunchuk like mad on later levels!

Try to get a headshot on the soldier on the next floor to replenish whatever

blocks on your Predator gauge that you used. Follow the tunnel to the south

and move across the bridge. At the top of the ramp in the next area you'll

find some supplies including some armor. Enter the next tunnel.

SAVE POINT!

Slash through the boards with your Machete and exit the mines. Two soldiers

will immediately attack from the other side. You have now entered the main

enemy base.

Run to the south while capping soldiers and make +--------------------------+

Walk up the steps around the building in the east and cap the two guards along

the way. You'll find some more armor and health pickups near the front of the

building. Go down the steps and move down the east path. Down the next set of

steps, you'll enter an area with many more buildings. Move to the west in this

area.

Once the cutscene ends, shoot the two rebels on the dock and take the MP5 from

the one near the plane. Most enemies will carry MP5's from now on so its best

to keep this weapon with you and ditch whatever other primary weapon that you

have. Run toward the building. You'll hear Kade scream then a few rebels will

race through the doorway of the building around the side of the building.

_

|_| Meet up with Kade at the old outpost [OB23]

Exit the building the same way you came in. A few rebels will be waiting in

the rooms below on the way out of the building. It's good to use a handgun at

this time since most of the enemies will only carry handguns for now.

Look for the newly opened gate outside to the north. A few more rebels will

run down the path up the hill as you move past the gate. Be sure to shoot the

logs at the top of the hill once the rebels appear from behind in order to kill

them off with little effort. Be sure to keep trying for headshots in order to

build your Predator meter.

The path will eventually start to disappear into the grass as you near the end.

Walk up to the wooden door along the side of the cave wall and slash it with

your Machete. Run down the tunnel ahead and approach the radio on the table

next to the door for a cutscene.

_

|_| Destroy the patrol boats

_

|_| Destroy the towers located in the plantation

_

|_| Find the C4 charge and destroy warehouse

Jack will pick up a map of the island and some binoculars. Press the 1 button

in order to look through the Binoculars. A rebel will bust through the door

immediately following the cutscene to attack. You'll gain three new objectives

at this time as well. All three of them can be done in different orders once

the paths split in just a minute. Enter the next tunnel.

SAVE POINT!

Some rebels will be talking while on the other side of the door at the end of

the tunnel. You must break the door with the Machete. There are only two

soldiers outside. Follow the path past the cave and you'll find a tower at the

end. There is a sniper on top of the tower. Crouch and move over to the boxes

with the item on top up ahead. Grab the pipe bombs from off the top of the

boxes and throw one at the bottom of the tower with the sniper on top. Press

the B button to trigger the bomb and sink the tower. You have to do this

quickly if you don't want to be noticed. Usually it is best to trigger the

pipe bomb while it rolls, a grenade should work just fine as well. In order to

disarm a pipe bomb that you throw, press the C button on the nunchuk.

If you've played a Far Cry game before then you know just how dangerous sniper

enemies can be. They are pure evil - just wait until later. Be sure to grab

the Sniper (Recon) Rifle. It's always good to keep a Sniper Rifle with you at

all times except for just a few areas which I'll mention later in the game.

Move down the path ahead and shoot at the enemies in the distance. They'll

likely notice you eventually anyway.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

|=============================================================================|

| Check in the first building next to the two barrels. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Your main destination is to the left once you reach the river, but you can walk

over to the right side and find a few more rebels to kill. Cross the river and

find the first building to the right with the dock in front of it. Get in the

boat at the dock and drive it down the northeast side of the river. Once you

move under the overhead rock formation further down the river, one rebel will

eventually tell the others to "Cut him off!" then the open gate up ahead will

close. Kill the rebels along the sides as they start to shoot then get off the

boat and run over to the small building next to the river gate then press and

hold the C button to pull the switch in order to open the gate once again. Be

ready to shoot the rebel to the left as you exit through the gate while in the

boat.

SAVE POINT!

This is where you have a choice of what objective to go and perform next. None

of the objectives take a long time and they will all bring you back to this

main river section so you can go and perform one of the next objectives. I'll

go through these objectives in an order, but you can do them in whatever order

of your choosing.

_

|_| Destroy the patrol boats [OB24]

(East from main intersection in river)

Keep moving to the east and work your way around the side of the mountain so

that you start to move north. While following the blue dot on the radar,

you'll come across a tower with a sniper and several rebels around the area.

Follow the path behind the tower and it will take you deeper into the middle of

the island.

SAVE POINT!

Eventually a save point will trigger then you'll need to move down a hill. A

lake will become visible in the distance and this is where the patrol boats are

stationed. While still standing on the hill, take out your recon rifle and

shoot the sniper on top of the tower near the lake. You can also knock down

the tower with a pipe bomb or grenade but make sure to do it quickly. Thin out

the rebels around the area by shooting at them as you find them. Once you have

whittled them down to about two they will continue to pour into the area in

groups of two no matter how many you shoot. Beware the rebel that uses the

turret gun in the center of the lake.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

|=============================================================================|

| Inside the building next to the first boat in the list below. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Find the five patrol boats spread around the lake and shoot the red explosive

barrel near each one.

(1) As you jump off the hill look behind the building to the right.

(2) On the far end of the left (east) side.

(3) Find the path on the right (west) side beside the tower that leads up to a

building and this boat will be right beside the building.

(4) On the right (west) side, a little bit past the path described for number

3.

(5) A little bit past number 4. Shoot the boat a few times to destroy it.

Pull the lever in the small building to the side of the fifth boat to open the

gate that leads to the outside river then grab the boat on the left (east) side

and ride back out into the main river.

SAVE POINT!

_

|_| Find the C4 charge and destroy warehouse [OB25]

(Northeast from the main intersection in river)

You'll stay in the water a bit longer for this one than the other objectives so

make sure to have a boat at this time. Only exit the boat if you need to kill

the rebels that attack, otherwise follow the small river path. Drive under the

rock formation and follow the river to the northeast. Ditch the boat once you

run into the group of four rebels on the dry land to the right side and kill

them then move up hill to the southeast.

SAVE POINT!

Eventually you'll stumble across a sandy path. The path will take you to an

enemy camp. Don't worry about the tower nearby since there is no sniper there.

Luckily, the camp has been basically slaughtered. The warehouse that you need

to enter is right next to the tower, but you first need some C4. Break through

the wooden door on the building in the south. Move past the carnage in the

room and break through the next wooden door to find some ++C4++ along with some

armor. Don't grab the P90's since there's not much ammo for them and you won't

find anymore anytime soon.

With the C4 in hand, walk back over to the warehouse. Find the ladder on the

north side of the warehouse surrounded by stacked crates and climb it to get up

on the roof. Walk over to the opening in the roof and line yourself up with

the crate then fall into the building. Move through the doorway to the side

and you'll find the blue marker where you should place the C4.

SAVE POINT!

Make sure to press the switch near each of the surrounded shutters to open them

since you'll need to make a quick getaway once you plant the C4. It's best to

just go ahead and slide down the zipline since that is your next destination

anyway, but you can run outside through the other opening and look back for a

nice view as the warehouse explodes. Watch out for the falling tower!

Enemies will start to pour into the area as the C4 is planted. The zipline

will take you to the bottom of the hill in the west. Rebels will assault you

from the bottom area as well. Find the small building on the right side to

find a switch that will release the gate in the river then grab the speed boat

and move out into the open river again - make a left right outside the gate.

SAVE POINT!

_

|_| Destroy the towers located in the plantation [OB26]

(West from main intersection in river)

Drive to the west while on your boat and get off on the shore of the island on

the north side. You'll find a hidden path that will take you through some

trees and shrubbery and eventually up a hill. Stay on the path and you'll come

upon a plantation. All you have to do to complete the objective at this part

is to shoot the red explosive barrels below each tower to have it crash down

onto the plantation and burn the field. Make sure to move away from the

falling tower since it will cause the field to burn where it crashes.

Start by destroying the tower on the far west side +--------------------------+

then take out the closest one on the east side. | >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

other two towers starting with the back one +--------------------------+

against the east side first then destroy the final west tower since it will be

close to the path needed to escape this area. Move down the path to the

southwest of the final tower to leave this area. A few rebels will run toward

you from the other side of the path.

SAVE POINT!

Enter the cave and prepare for another rebel ambush. As you move further into

the cave prepare a grenade then turn back around and throw it near the entrance

as a trio of rebels attack from behind. Fall down the sides of the cave and

find the boat then ride it back out into the main river area.

SAVE POINT!

|_| Race to save Kade from rebels' clutches [OB27]

Follow the blue dot to the east and find the open gate in the east. A group of

rebels in two patrol boats will attack as you come upon the gate. Take either

of there boats if you want one with a gun turret. Use the jump command with

the Nunchuk in order to use the gun. Drive through the gate entrance and blast

the rebels near the tower (no sniper in the tower). Find the path to the north

and follow it to the hill at the (east) end then drop off to finish this stage.

_

|_| Race to save Kade from rebels' clutches [OB31]

The same objective from the last stage still applies here. Follow the visible

path up ahead and it will lead to a truck along with a few rebels. An armor

pickup and some weapons will be lying beside the truck. Get inside the truck

and drive down the path to the east. This truck comes equipped with a grenade

mortar gun at the top so use the jump motion with the nunchuck to fire at the

few rebels that you find along the path.

SAVE POINT!

Keep following the path after the save point and you'll reach an open beach.

When you see the enemy trucks in the distance get ready to fire with the

grenade gun. Shoot the enemy trucks with one grenade to completely destroy

each one. You'll come across two more trucks as you reach the other side of

the beach. Try to shoot them before they ram you, but don't get caught in the

blast yourself! Keep in mind that the enemies will always back up to ram you

again so just wait until they move away then fire if they manage to ram you the

first time.

Use the grenade gun to blow open the wooden gate on the other side of the beach

and drive along the path behind it. A few rebels will fire, but you can just

run over them or shoot them with the grenade gun. Eventually a path to the

right will come into view but it only dead ends. You'll have to abandon the

truck once you reach the rocks that block the path. Don't try to ram the rocks

or the truck will burst into flames and explode. Follow the path behind the

rocks and a cutscene will eventually trigger.

SAVE POINT!

Predator mode will be automatically activated once the cutscene ends. You'll

have to jump over the gate in order to get to Kade. Jack's jump will be much

higher when in Predator mode so you'll easily make it. Fight off the rebels

while Kade gets in the truck. Use your Machete while an enemy is front of your

vision and Jack will target the rebel in front of him and then run up to slash

him. A few slashes every now and then will keep your Predator gauge from

falling so use them often, but you need to fire your gun sometimes since it

takes too long to slash all of the rebels.

Kade's life bar is displayed in the upper left hand corner of the screen. When

the rebels fire upon the jeep that Kade is in, she will take damage so make

sure to kill off the rebels quickly until Kade tells Jack to get in the

vehicle. Go for headshots as much as possible to keep Kade safe. Use the

radar to track the enemies and always turn to the side with the most red dots

first. Be sure to look for the rebels behind the railings of the buildings and

shoot them. One all the rebels are killed a save point will trigger.

SAVE POINT!

_

|_| Jump in truck [OB32]

Before getting inside of the truck grab all the ammo from the fallen rebels.

The game will not mention this but Jack has now gained a ++FERAL JUMP++ that

will allow him to jump higher even when not in Predator mode. Get in the

passenger's seat of the truck when you're ready.

_

|_| Get rid of incoming enemies [OB33]

Kade will start to drive down the road then enemies will start to attack

further ahead and Jack will get knocked out. Kade will wake Jack up and tell

him to get in the back and fire at the rebels. Fire at the three rebels and

Kade will drive further down the road. Shoot the explosive barrel to blow up

the building along the way, same with the tower.

Kade will drive through the gate. Shoot the rebels on the sides of the bridge

as Kade plows through the barricade in front of the bridge. Watch the radar

for the rebels up ahead. Kade will most likely drive too fast to hit every

enemy but you can avoid a slight bit of damage by shooting the rebels upon

sight. Be sure to turn around and shoot at the enemy trucks that will drive

after you. Aim for the driver. Two more trucks will appear after the first

two once Kade drives through another enemy camp. She will eventually drive

into a cave then a cutscene will activate as she drives toward the beach on the

other side of the cave.

Escape with stolen weapons and airplane

_

|_| Reach the airport [OB34]

Kade will accompany Jack on this mission, but don't worry, she will mainly take

cover behind objects - just don't shoot any explosive barrels near her.

Run up the path to the east and Kade will follow from behind. Quietly move up

the stairs and sneak up behind the first guard then slice him with the Machete.

Move across the bridge down the next path and run up the hill to the north.

Kick down the barrels at the soldiers down the hill off to the right. The

barrels will roll through the fire and explode killing the soldiers in the

process. You can get on the board and ride it down the hill! Move down the

hill and continue along the path.

SAVE POINT!

Shoot the soldiers as they appear in the wooded area ahead and advance to the

south. Be sure to look out for the soldiers on the boards up in the trees

along the way. Once you see a tower in the distance, take out your recon rifle

and shoot the sniper up on the tower or throw a pipe bomb at the foot of the

tower to knock it down. Check the tent past the tower for some item pickups.

Follow Kade to the north along the path and a cutscene will eventually trigger.

SAVE POINT!

_

|_| Protect Kade [OB35]

Kade will stay inside the crater in the middle of the area during this fight.

Stay along the wall that the soldiers drop from and fire at them as they drop.

Slash them with your Machete whenever they get close enough to you. They will

mainly run to the crater, so you won't have to worry about constant fire aimed

directly at you. Go for headshots as much as possible and be sure to grab

their ammo. You need to switch over to the guns that they carry since they

carry different ammo than what you may have from the last stage.

Jack will gain the ++FERAL ATTACK++ during this battle. The Feral attack

basically takes the place of the Machete for whenever you are in Predator mode.

Jack will slash his hands violently at the enemies and send them flying. He

will automatically enter Predator mode once the tutorial phrase for the Feral

attack pops up. Defeat all the enemies and Kade will run toward the warehouse

in the back and the next objective will pop up.

_

|_| Follow Kade [OB36]

Load up on any extra ammo lying around and follow Kade into the warehouse to

the east.

SAVE POINT!

_

|_| Open the garage doors [OB37]

Walk deeper into the warehouse and Kade board the plane in the middle. A few

soldiers will appear from the side of the warehouse - one is on the back end of

the plane. Collect the armor and other pickups from the table on the south end

of the warehouse. Press the switch on the wall at the southeast end of the

warehouse to open the garage doors.

_

|_| Protect the plane [OB38]

Now you must protect the plane as Kade drives it along the runway outside. She

will drive it pretty far so you can't just stay in the plane and shoot the

enemies the whole time. Stay outside the plane and fire at the enemies as they

appear. You may need to switch weapons quite a bit since the enemies will

carry a variety of weapons - Shotguns, Assault Rifles, and Rocket Launchers.

Be sure to take out the enemies with Rocket Launchers quickly since they can

hurt the plane much worse than the others. The soldiers will mainly focus on

the plane so you won't have to worry much about taking damage. Basically, stay

away from the plane to avoid getting hit.

_

|_| Enter the plane for take off [OB39]

After moving down the runaway enough, the plane will wait for Jack to board it

before it takes off. The soldiers will keep pouring into the area so just

board the plane via the back section whenever it stops at the end of the runway

to end this stage. You can stick behind and build up your feral meter by

killing off soldiers before boarding if you'd like and I would advise you to do

that if it's not already full.

SAVE POINT!

Find a boat to leave the island

_

|_| Follow Kade [OB311]

Step out of the wreckage of the plane and follow Kade to the side. A few

soldiers will attack. Find the path to the southeast and follow it. Kade will

lead the way. A cutscene will begin once you step past Kade near the end of

the path.

_

|_| Find some fuel

_

|_| Find a mounted weapon

You'll gain two new objectives after the cutscene. These objectives can be

|_| Find some fuel [OB321]

Find the open gate to the north and move along the trenches up ahead. Both

trenches will take you to the same destination, but the best way to see where

you need to go is to get on the mounds of land on the sides of the trenches.

Your destination is in the north. A few soldiers will pop up in the trenches.

Slash through any boards that may get in your way in the trenches with your

Machete.

Eventually, you'll reach a path with fences on +--------------------------+

each side. This path will lead to an area with | >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

several stacked army vehicles that help to make a |==========================|

separate walkway up above. A few soldiers will be | Enter the building in |

patrolling the area, but it isn't that well | the northeast and look |

guarded. Make use of the explosive barrels to | to the left of the stack |

help defeat the soldiers. Move to the building in | of lockers. |

the northeast and you'll find a gas pump to the +--------------------------+

side of it that will allow you to get some ++FUEL++ for the armored vehicle.

Hold C to gather the fuel.

SAVE POINT!

On the way back, a squad of soldiers will attack. Get on the top walkway and

toss grenades at them since they will stay in a group for the most part. You

won't have to worry about any extra enemies in the trench area.

SAVE POINT!

_

|_| Find a mounted weapon [OB331]

Take the south path for this objective. Kill the soldiers and move past the

first building on the road and follow the road around the corner to the

southeast. Stay on the road and you'll come to a group of buildings. Raid the

buildings in this area of any items that you can find and kill off the soldiers

as you pass by the doorways - most of them will not see you until you pass by

the doors.

Hop over to the boat in the south ocean and grab the ++MOUNTED WEAPON++ from

the inside of the metal container lying in the center of the boat.

SAVE POINT!

A helicopter will fly into the middle of the buildings beside the boat and

soldiers will jump out. Try to run toward the helicopter and throw a grenade

just as the soldiers start to repel downward to get rid of them quickly. A few

more soldiers will appear on the way back.

SAVE POINT!

Once you're finished with both objectives, walk over to the glowing side of the

armored vehicle and get in. Jack will take position behind the gun at the top

of the vehicle as Kade drive through the gate ahead.

Shoot the enemies as they come into view and be sure to make use of the

explosive barrels by shooting them with enemies gather near them. One part has

several explosive barrels lying around but you don't want to shoot them all at

once - wait till some enemies move near them. It's quite funny to watch Kade

plow through some of the soldiers during this part. Be sure to shoot the

enemies on the overhead walkway as the armored vehicle passes under it.

_

|_| Destroy the helicopter [OB341]

Eventually two helicopters take off in the distance and one of them will attack

your armored vehicle. Fire at the helicopter as much as possible but be sure

to take out the soldiers that fire upon the armored vehicle first. Soon Kade

will stop the vehicle and the helicopter will hover in the air in front of the

vehicle - use this chance to unload on the helicopter but be sure to shoot the

soldiers that will pop up on the left walkway from time to time. Once the

helicopter starts to smoke and fly away the objective is complete!

Kade will drive down the beach to the east and the cutscene for the next stage

will start eventually.

|_| Reach Kade's safehouse [OB41]

SAVE POINT!

Kill off the rebels and raid the buildings for supplies. There are quite a few

rebels in the area so keep your guard up. Your destination is in the

southwest. Like in all new areas, you need to switch over to the weapons that

they carry, particularly the MP5's. Once you reach the wall in the southwest

turn to the northwest and find the path behind the buildings in that direction.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

|=============================================================================|

| While passing by the building that is in front of the northwest path in the |

| far southwest, check in the corner of the dark room to find this pickup of |

| armor. The doorway is on the south side of the building. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

SAVE POINT!

You'll see a few rebels mingling around up ahead. Either duck and enter the

tunnel by moving under the metal piece to the northwest or turn to the south

and take that path.

- Tunnel

You'll fight a few rebels in the tunnel and will need to hack your way through

the board at the end. This is the shorter of the two ways.

- South Path

Fight through the levels and go prone then slash through the board blocking the

path at the end. You can turn to the left right before you get to the next

town to witness a rebel talking over a radio with his wife. She isn't pleased

with him.

Either way, you'll enter a town with even more rebels throughout it. The South

path will start you out on the south side of the next town and the Tunnel path

will start north end of the town. There are tons of rebels here so make sure

to go for headshots. There's a high platform in the north portion of the town

where you can easily snipe the rebels (look for the narrow walkway that leads

up to the high platform). Try to save your MP5 ammo as much as you can since

you'll need it at the next save point.

Run to the west and travel through the building in the far northwest corner of

the tower. This will lead you to the other side of the town. There is also a

ramp to the north of the high platform that will lead you to this area. If you

follow the blue dot on the radar, it will lead you to a building in the

northeast. This is Kade's safehouse but all the doorways to the building are

closed off. Jump down into the water below the building and find the ladder

that leads up to a trapdoor in the middle of the safehouse.

SAVE POINT!

Enter the safehouse via the trapdoor for a cutscene.

_

|_| Hold off rebels attack [OB42]

Semeru will trap you inside of the burning building as a swarm of rebels start

to blast through the windows. Be sure to grab the armor behind the table and

take note of the health pack on the shelf. Your goal here is to kill a certain

amount of rebels and wait for the fire to stop - one of the rebels will kick

down the back door and charge into the building after you at that time. The

rebels will stand right next to each of the three windows so keep cycling in

between the windows while firing at them. Make sure to hit the rebels that

stand on the rooftops outside as well. The next objective will flash across

the screen as the fire stops. The rebel that kicks the door down can kill you

quite quickly if you have your back to him so make sure to watch for him as the

next objective pops up.

_

|_| Reach the shrine ruins, that could be a way to escape [OB43]

Fire at the rebel that kicks down the door then exit the safehouse.

SAVE POINT!

Run around the area and take down the remaining rebels. Be sure to collect the

weapons from around the safehouse windows from the corpses of the rebels you

killed. A door to the north of the safehouse that was previously closed is now

open. Head there now and go through the doorway.

Make your way through the dark cave and exit to the forest area on the other

side. Go north on the outside and move past the fallen tree.

SAVE POINT!

Shoot the soldiers near the shed up ahead - one +--------------------------+

of them will race down the hill in an ATV. There | >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

is a sniper on the raised area to the left of the |==========================|

hill but you can't hit him yet and he can't you | Check inside the shed to |

them and you may be able to destroy the whole group of barrels and kill the

rebels as well.

| >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

| can make it without a feral run. You'll find the armor upgrade near the |

| small building where the second sniper was. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

SAVE POINT!

Race up the set of ramps at the top of the hill +--------------------------+

then get off your ATV when you see a tower in the | >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

distance. Zoom in on the sniper on the tower and |==========================|

shoot him with your rifle then enter the enemy | Check inside the small |

camp and start blasting the rebels. You can also | shack to the left of the |

make it fall and kill the sniper in the process. +--------------------------+

Make sure to move up to the second floor of the big building to blast the three

rebels that will take aim at you through the windows.

Walk over to the downward hill on the northeast side of the camp and shoot the

planks that are holding the set of logs and watch them roll down the hill at

the rebels that try to run after you. You can also shoot the explosive barrel

under the tower to the side and have it fall down the hill as well. Fight off

the remaining rebels at the bottom of the hill then move across the destroyed

bridge with the fallen truck next to it.

SAVE POINT!

Jack will gain his ++FERAL VISION++ on the other side of the bridge. Press the

"-" button to activate Feral Vision at any time. This will allow you to sniff

out your enemies and allow you to follow a trail of their scent directly to

them. Feral Vision is also good for dark areas. The screen will turn an

orange yellow color when this ability is activated. Take not that it will

slowly drain the Predator gauge so be sure to turn it off when it is not needed

by pressing the "-" button again.

Your Predator mode will automatically activate as you walk to the southeast

forest. Your main destination in this area is to the east. Try to start

building your predator gauge in this area (through headshots mainly) and keep

it high. Find the path with the waterfall on the east side and move through

it.

SAVE POINT!

Take the left path on the other side of the waterfall and fight through the

enemies then move up the hill to turret. Walk behind the turret and press then

hold the "1" button to tear the turret from its hinges and carry it around with

you. This weapon will slice through rebels like a hot knife through butter so

be sure to use it wisely. You need to head to the northwest.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

|=============================================================================|

| Find the building in the north and blast the rebels that attack then move |

| to the second floor to find the armor on the outside portion of the |

| building. More rebels will enter after you grab the armor. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Once you have run across the bridge to the north, follow the blue dot on your

radar to the northeast. There is a secret area past some rocks that leads to

the remains of an airplane and a rocket launcher. Move past the waterfall,

which will be off to your left and go across the bridge. Several rebels will

attack and you'll find another turret that you can take with you. Be sure to

take it! Move up the hill to the southeast.

SAVE POINT!

This next field area can get a bit chaotic at times. You'll find a few snipers

here and there and even some enemies that will try to shoot you at long range

with a rocket launcher. The easiest way to get through this part is to simply

run through it - feral run if you have trouble. If the Predator gauge is not

full or at least about 75% full then you may have to start the entire game over

because of constant freezing.

Blast the first few rebels then race down the hill. Move up the walkways to

get on the next hill. You'll find another turret if you need it on the

walkway. Move over the hill and continue to the south.

SAVE POINT!

You can blast the wooden poles in this section and make them fall on the

rebels. An enemy with a turret will be on a hill to the east so turn on your

Feral Vision to easily see him and aim at him. Move up the next set of wooden

ramps. As you continue to the south, there will be a rebel on the southwest

hill that will try to shoot you with a turret grenade gun, so make sure to find

him as you race up the ramps and shoot him first thing. The turret is on hill

behind some sandbags. You can take the grenade gun, but it is a very dangerous

weapon to use in this area since there are so many walls and the ground and the

ground is not level.

Run up the ramps to the south and blast the rebels as you keep moving forward.

There is a sniper next to a grenade turret behind some sandbags on the south

hill right before you get to the wooden building at the top of the hill. Run

up the steps and jump across the gap in the rocks at the very top. You can

make this jump without a feral run. Blast the sniper on the other side.

SAVE POINT!

Move up the small hill and blast the rebels then raid the buildings in the area

for supplies. If you want to make the next part easier then start building up

your Predator gauge in this area.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

|=============================================================================|

| Check inside the building in the southeast. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Race up the south hill to the shrine at the top when you're done with this

area.

SAVE POINT!

I'm not sure what the problem is with this area, but your game may freeze OFTEN

at this part, and the only solution is to turn your Wii off or unplug it

(sometimes the freeze gets that bad). Supposedly, the problem is from a

corrupted save. I had major problems at this part my first time through and I

have read about other gamers having problems here as well. This part may cause

you to hate this game badly. If the game starts to freeze a bunch then turn on

Predator mode and run through the part. Run across the first bridge, turn

left, run across the second bridge, turn right, run across the third bridge,

you'll find the fourth bridge in the northwest so run across that one, run

straight down the path to the west and find the bridge at the end of the path -

DO NOT turn right and go across the first bridge that you see. Run up the

steps on the other side.

For this part, you can either run across the bridges and take out the snipers

along the way or take the low path (fall off the right side of the first

bridge) and find the ladder on the hill wall to the right. The ladder blends

in extremely well with the dark brown hill so you'll have to look carefully.

High route:

Inch forward on the bridge and zoom in with your recon rifle so you can shoot

the sniper in the suspended building to the south. There is another sniper to

the south that is up in the trees, he will try to shoot you while you move

across the first bridge. Plow through the normal rebels with your MP5. Once

you move across the second bridge, turn your site to the hill in the west and

you'll be able to see a sniper on the hill once you zoom in - this sniper will

probably see you at the same time you see him so you'll have to shoot him quick

or take cover behind a tree. Before moving across the next bridge, shoot the

sniper on the other side then move across and blast the rebel on the other side

as well.

Continue across the next bridge to the northwest. Don't go across the bridge

to the right, instead, move around the side to the left and run across that

bridge. There is a sniper on the other side of the bridge to the right and a

rebel down the path to the west. Before you get to the next bridge, you may

need to shoot the sniper in very far suspended building to the northwest - be

sure to use Feral Vision to see him. The bridge at the end of the path will

lead you to the south. Run up the steps on the other side to trigger a

cutscene that will end this chapter.

SAVE POINT!

Fall down the set of rock platforms to get down the mountain. Always turn and

look below you before falling to make sure that there is a rock platform there.

Eventually you'll have to move on a path along the side of the mountain. In

the middle of the path you'll see a building with a metal roof below, move down

the hill behind that building then fall down the southwest end of that hill.

Move around the side of the building and blast the rebels.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Once the rebels are shot at, a few more will likely notice you below.

Jump/fall on the building below on the west side. There is also a very hard-

to-see ladder that you can descend on the southeast side of the current floor.

Move down the east walkway on the floor below. Run through the building at the

end of the walkway then make your way down the next walkway. There ladder to

the ladder to the west that leads up won't lead you up to anything useful so

move down the next two ladders to the left of it. There are two ways to get

down to the village below, either slide down the zipline through the building

to the south or the zipline at the far side of the building to the west.

Your main destination in the bottom village is a building with some boats in

front of it on the south side of the village. You'll have to hop across the

boats in order to get over to the building or you could fall down a walkway on

the side. Either way, enter the building and find the wooden door in the

building then slash it with your Machete to break it open. Move down the

stairs to the basement and grab the armor behind the board along the way to the

room at the bottom. A cutscene will trigger once you reach the door at in the

basement.

_

|_| Escape Shanty town [OB52]

SAVE POINT!

Well, what a waste that was! Go through the door and you'll start to notice

some rebels entering the building. They have boarded up the entrance with a

small wooden casing and Jack's Machete doesn't have the strength to rip through

it even though we just tore down a door with it. They "barricaded" the other

entrance as well. You need to find the stairs that lead to the second floor

and get up there. The rebels will keep spawning during this time, so don't

stop to fight that much unless you have to. While on the second floor find the

hole in the roof on the south side and jump out with Jack's normal/feral jump.

Jump into the water and run toward the boats in the northwest. Climb the

ladder then and keep heading northwest.

SAVE POINT!

Move along the walkway in the northwest and go through the building. Once you

reach the other side an onslaught of rebels will assault you and they will keep

coming, so it is not good to stand and fight for too long at this part. All

you have to do is find the open doorway in the building to the north and go

through it. The doorway is very dark making it look like a closed door so look

carefully. Go through the open door to the west in the building and the rebels

will not follow.

Jack will gain his ++FERAL ATTACK++ skill while moving toward the armory. This

skill can be used during Predator mode (it will take the place of the Machete)

or it can be used during normal stealth kills. Raid the armory of whatever

weapons that you need. There are tons of items - armor, pipe bombs, grenades,

a rocket launcher, sniper rifles, MP5's, etc. Stick with your current

equipment that the enemies are dropping to stay safe for the remainder of the

level. Approach the rebel guard outside of the north doorway and use your new

feral stealth kill. It has some very satisfying animation.

Rebels will attack in the garage to the north. Be sure to look out for the

three rebels that come through the armory and start to shoot from behind.

There are also two rebels on the catwalks in the garage. Climb the ladder tot

her right and pull the switch at the top to open the garage door. Head back to

the armory and pick up any supplies that you need then hop on the ATV in the

garage and jet out down the road the north.

SAVE POINT!

There's a sniper up in the tower to the left as you exit the garage but I

wouldn't worry too much about him. If you just keep driving you'll avoid him.

Jump the ramp to the north. Blast the enemies in the truck along the road

ahead and ditch the ATV then get in their truck so you'll have a turret.

_

|_| Meet Kien Do at the suspension bridge [OB53]

Shoot the rebels down the road to the west and be sure not to accidentally

drive through the open fence area since you'll lose your vehicle if you do.

You can't still get back up on the road though. Stay along the road and dodge

the logs along the way. Another enemy truck will attack near the next bridge -

use your turret to get rid of the drivers or just blow the truck up.

Take a left when the path splits further past the bridge. Drive past the

wooden shack and tower then turn right when the path splits. Aim for the

explosive barrels next to the buildings when you come to the rebel camp up

ahead. There will be a group of rebels in a truck in a hidden path to the

right as you enter the camp so be sure to turn and fire at them. Drive across

the grass over to the road on the west side then continue to the north.

You'll have to abandon the truck further down the road since the rebels have

set up a burning barricade. Hop over the fence on either side to safely get

into the enemy camp then start blasting your way to the northeast.

SAVE POINT!

Make use of the explosive barrels surrounding the building ahead and kill the

enemies with explosions.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

|=============================================================================|

| Check inside the first room on the right (south) side of the second floor. |

| It will be right next to the doorway. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Get inside of one of the two trucks on the east side of the building then drive

to the east on the road to the side. Both trucks come equipped with a grenade

gun turret! The road will stretch out quite a long way. One rebel will yell

to the others and tell them to raise the bridge so you can't get to the other

side. Stay in your truck at the camp and blow away every rebel in the area.

Shoot them until red dots stop appearing on the map! They will stop

eventually.

The bridge will be raised so we need to lower it. Head over to the building in

the north right beside the bridge and pull the lever inside the building to

lower the bridge. There is a catch here however - the bridge will rise back up

after a few moments have gone by, so you will need to race over the bridge

really quick before it rises back up. Rebels will attack from the south as

soon as you flip the lever but don't pay them any attention, just make it over

the bridge. There is no need to activate Predator mode and use Feral Run to

make it.

SAVE POINT!

Follow the road on the other side. Blast through the rebels up the hill that

the road leads to and run across the bridge in the southwest. Follow the road

up the next hill and kill all the rebels. The gate in the back is closed so

climb the short ladder on the south wall and move up the platforms to the area

up above.

SAVE POINT!

Leap over the destroyed gas tank at the top and blast the four rebels on the

other side. You may want to throw a grenade over the gas tank before jumping -

this can get rid of some of them or at least draw their attention away from you

if it happens to miss. Either run up the hill or climb the ladders and

platforms to the right. Both ways will lead up the hill. The platforms will

help you to get the drop on the enemy in their hideout, but watch out for the

enemy with the rocket launcher. Use one of the turrets to blast the onslaught

of rebels that race down the hill.

It is best to move up the platforms in the middle to the west instead of taking

either of the roads since you'll get the drop on a rebel manning a turret and

also you'll be able to easily take down the rebels that are outside the

building.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

|=============================================================================|

| Across from the turret in the small building. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Hop over the logs blocking the road to the southwest and follow the road.

SAVE POINT!

Walk into the next camp and shoot all the rebels in the immediate area. Facing

the building from the road, move around the left side of the building and get

inside. A whole onslaught of rebels will attack in this area. You can't just

sit behind the turret and aim at the rebels outside since some will spawn

behind the building then enter and fire at you. Grab the armor pickup in front

of the shelves across from the turret.

SAVE POINT!

Eventually two trucks with rebels will drive toward the center of the area.

One of the trucks will break through the gate to the west - this will allow you

through to your destination. Blast the trucks or the enemies inside of the

trucks then move through the opening in the gate.

There's no need to drive a truck through the gate since there are logs covering

the road on the other side. Move up the road ahead.

_

Fight off the rebels in the area. There isn't anything special in the building

to the southeast. Stand near the flames on the bridge then leap over the

flames to reach the other side. The bridge will start to fall as you make your

way across but keep pressing forward to make Jack grab onto the bridge floor

then climb up the side of the wall. A cutscene that will end this stage will

trigger once you reach the top.

recon rifle is basically useless for the rest of the game. You'll have a

choice of three split paths ahead. You can also travel through the trees to

reach the next destination. Every way leads to the same basic area. This area

is huge so you really just need to follow the blue dot on the map to get to

your next destination.

southeast.

Follow the blue dot on the radar to the northeast. You'll have to turn to the

Drive around all the obstacles (rocks and logs) while driving to the northeast.

The bridge will eventually come into view to the north.

Get off the boat and walk up the set of ramps in the west to reach the area

next to the top of the bridge. There are several rebels near the bridge. Look

out for the sniper! Move across the bridge to the east and a cutscene will

activate once you run across to the truck on the far east side.

_

Follow the path to the south and blast the rebels along the way.

Find the small oil pumps in the south and move down the path beside them that

leads to the east. You'll come upon a large crater near the end. Move to the

south past the crater.

SAVE POINT!

Run toward the base wall in the south.

_

|_| Kill the sniper [OB68]

This objective is confusing since there is more than one sniper in this area.

The actual sniper that you need to kill is inside the enemy base. Take out

your sniper rifle and shoot the snipers up above the gate walls (in the

center). Walk toward the truck that has crashed against the gate leading into

the enemy base and jump over it.

I would advise you to take shelter behind the +--------------------------+

building to the east while inside the base since | >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

building is where the sniper lurks that you must +--------------------------+

kill. He will appear on the VERY TOP of the building. The snipers that appear

along the side will not count. He seems to always appear on the very top of

the roof once the first two snipers that appear along the side of the building

have been killed. You may need to turn on your feral vision to see him. There

is no need to use a sniper rifle to kill any of the snipers. You can get on

the roof of the building nearby and see him better but you place yourself right

out in the open for him to hit you. Once the lone sniper at the very top of

the southwest building is killed the objective will be complete.

_

|_| Disengage the generator [OB69]

Go ahead and start picking up the BC-74 assault rifles. These weapons have

some bad reload animation that cannot be interrupted but the enemies will start

to drop them for a while so the ammo is available more often.

Enter the building on the west side and go up the stairs. Fall off the west

side of the building and locate the generator in the southwest - it has a fence

around it. Turn off the generator by holding the C button near it.

_

|_| Kill the rebels and steal a boat [OB611]

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> EXTRA ITEMS << |

|=============================================================================|

| The building off to the north is now open and quite a few item pickups and |

| some armor. Make sure that you find the stairs in the back left that lead |

| down to the bottom floor where you'll find even more pickups! |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

The gate to the harbor to the south is now open so head through the open gate.

A cutscene will take you deeper into the harbor. Your objective here is to

kill all the enemies. ALL of them. A sniper will appear on the rooftop to the

east and he can be a major ass, so get on top of that rooftop by jumping to the

awning at the front of the roof then jump to the roof and find him then kill

him. The roof provides and excellent portion of this area for you to shoot at

the rebels below. Once all enemies are disposed of, move toward the harbor the

ocean to the south and a patrol boat with rebels will drive up. Blast all of

them in the boat then get in the boat.

_

|_| Reach the offshore platform [OB621]

Be sure to collect all the weapons from around the area of the harbor then get

in the patrol boat and drive out to the oil rig in the south. Drive up to one

of the catwalks off to the side.

_

|_| Defuse the bomb [OB631]

Get off the boat and climb up to the catwalk to the side. Find the sets of

stairs in the east and climb them all the way to the top catwalk. Enter the

doorway to the north for a cutscene.

Once the cutscene ends Jack will gain the ++FERAL CLIMB++ ability. This will

allow him to latch on and climb certain walls and objects. Turn on your Feral

Vision and look to the left (northwest). You will notice a yellow trail along

the wall. This will let you know which sections of a wall are climbable. Jump

toward the section of the wall with the yellow trail and Jack will latch onto

the wall. Climb up the wall then hop off onto the catwalk next to the top

doorway. It's kind of tricky to land on the catwalk. Move all the way up the

wall then face toward the catwalk and move to the right so that you fall on the

catwalk below. Move toward the pipe on the wall next to the catwalk.

Turn on your feral vision while outside to see a pipe that you can climb

across. Climbing across it is not easy since Jack falls off of it a bunch, but

there is another climbable wall on the far west side that will allow you to

climb up to the other side. Just jump into the water below and swim over to

the west side if you fall or north side of the west platform. There are also

climbable walls on the east side. To climb across the pipe, climb to the top

of it so that Jack's head touches the ceiling then move across it.

If you crawl across the pipe, you'll fall on a small catwalk platform on the

other side. Jump to the other side from there. If you climb up the west wall

then you'll have to jump toward the catwalk after turning completely around.

Rebels will attack immediately when you try to get on the catwalk, which can be

very bad if you climb the west wall since they will blast you while you're

still on the wall. Jump off the wall quickly or just turn and shoot them while

still on the wall. The north side will give you a better chance if you choose

to climb the walls. One of them has a sniper rifle and there is another sniper

on the top catwalk! Move up the stairs then follow the catwalk to the south.

SAVE POINT!

A sniper will appear to your left (literally) after the save point message.

Run across the catwalk ahead and blast the rebels to the south. Hide inside

the metal container if the firepower pressure gets too bad. Enter the building

up the stairs to the south and blast the remaining rebels inside. Walk over to

the control panel with the blue marker and hold the C button to defuse the bomb

on it.

_

|_| Join Kien Do [OB641]

SAVE POINT!

This objective is freaking brief as hell. Kien Do is not actually on the oil

rig or in the water near it. He is on the island where you got the patrol

boat. Go outside and jump off one of the catwalks and land in the water below.

Find the patrol boat that you used to drive to the oil right and drive it back

to the island in the north that you were on previously.

Pull up to the harbor and get off then backtrack all the way to the front of

the enemy base. Run outside the gates of the enemy base (hop over the truck

blocking the way). Go past the crater to the north and keep heading north.

You'll move past the path that you used to get to the enemy base. You'll come

to a rock wall in the back of several trees. Turn on your feral vision to see

that the wall is climbable. Climb the wall to the top and move forward until a

cutscene that will end this stage triggers.

Prevent the rebels from taking over the refinery

_

|_| Search for the delivery truck [OB71]

SAVE POINT!

Walk toward the southeast. Beware the campfire - yes, it can burn you! Move

past the big rock to the side and you'll stumble upon a path up ahead that goes

east. You're objective will change slightly eventually.

_

|_| Meet Kien Do at the delivery truck [OB72]

Keep moving along the path and you'll run into some rebels. Take their assault

rifles since the rebels will start to carry these. This gun has a nice scope

on it that will allow you to zoom in on long distance enemies. Take either

path or just head through the trees to east. Both paths will meet further in

the east.

Some rebels will be camping out further down the path. Grab the armor off the

crate near the end then climb up the vines on the rock wall to the far east.

SAVE POINT!

Follow the next path that the vines will lead you to until you come upon a

river with a few rebels lurking about. Head to the east along one of the sides

of the river. The river will split eventually but both sides will lead the

same way. You'll come upon several rebels along the way to the east.

Move past the rock formation near the crane as you follow the river. There is

of the rock formation (hop over the rocks along the path). Soon you'll come to

another enemy camp.

SAVE POINT!

_

|_| Follow the truck into the refinery [OB73]

Blast the rebels in the camp. You don't have to worry about keeping up with

the truck. Hop on the ATV on the left side of the camp and follow the path to

the north. The path will take you west, north, then east and several other

directions. Eventually you'll reach another enemy camp. The deliver truck

will stop here as well. Blast all the rebels then raid all the buildings for

supplies. Hop back on your ATV and drive to the west along the path. The

delivery truck will stop at a roadblock in the north.

_

|_| Use the truck to ram the refinery gates [OB74]

Blast all the rebels near the roadblock then run into the small stand to the

left and press the button to raise the boards. Hop into the deliver truck and

follow the path to the north. Keep following the road since it won't split.

You'll come across a few rebels and buildings. It may pay you to stop the car

to kill the rebels or raid the buildings for weapons.

Once you drive over a bridge, you'll come upon another roadblock. Blast the

rebels then open the gate by pressing the button in the building on the left

once again. After many twists and turns along the road, the refinery gates

will come into view. Drive your truck straight into the gates to make an

entrance for yourself.

_

|_| Meet Kien Do in the foreman's office [OB75]

SAVE POINT!

Start picking up the enemies weapons - the P90's! Shoot all the rebels in the

immediate area then run back to the front gate and tear off one of the turrets

and take it with you. This turret will really come in handy.

Run up the steps in front of the building and enter the doorway of the building

to the east. As you walk into the building, take the first right then the

foreman's office will be at the end of that hall to the right - step inside the

first room then go through the next doorway to see it. You'll see the blue

marker inside. A cutscene will activate inside the office.

You'll gain three new objectives:

_

|_| Take down the computer emergency system

_

|_| Disable the floodgate mechanism

_

|_| Destroy the auxiliary pumps

Let's start with...

_

|_| Take down the computer emergency system [OB76]

The emergency system is in the current building where you are right now. Move

up the stairs to the right outside the room that leads to the foreman's office.

You'll run into a few rebels that are looking for you along the way. Follow

the hall to the west and at the end of the north corner go through the last

doorway on the right then the next doorway inside. Stand away from the

computer emergency system then blast it with a weapon to destroy it. If you

walk toward the window, a rebel will shoot at you then Kien Do will take him

out then wave at you.

SAVE POINT!

Leave the building by moving down either of the set of stairs then exiting the

building on the west side. Hop over the barricades to the side of the building

then head east. Go through the entrance in the fence to the east then

immediately make a right so you won't activate the sniper and other enemies

further to the east. Walk through the doorway in the north and this will lead

you to the floodgate mechanism.

_

|_| Destroy the auxiliary pumps [OB77]

Blast the rebels through the fences and be sure to find the one in the office

off to the left. DO NOT run down the middle path or the steam from the pipe to

the right will kill you - be sure to shoot the rebels on that side if any are

attacking though. If you have turret with you still then just lay it down

before you go down the ladder.

Jump down the ladder into the water and swim through the pipes to the south

then turn to the east to find another ladder behind some pipes. Go up the next

ladder to climb up to the other side of the floor above. Walk over to the

valve handle near the corridor with the steaming pipe and hold the C button to

turn it and cut off the steam. Climb up the ladder at the west end of the

corridor to get on the catwalks above. Follow the corridor of the catwalk

around the side and you'll find the auxiliary pumps. Stand outside the doorway

and shoot them from a safe distance to destroy them.

A few rebels will attack from below as you try to leave. Fire at them whenever

the cursor turns red while aiming through the catwalks or fences so they won't

get cheap shots at you. Make sure that the steam is shut off on the bottom

floor then go through the middle corridor at the bottom and exit the building.

Pick up your turret if you left it behind.

SAVE POINT!

_

|_| Disable the floodgate mechanism [OB78]

In order to accomplish this next objective, you'll need to thin out the rebels

to the east. There is a sniper up on the tower in the east that you should

scope out and kill before any other enemy. Stand in about the middle of the

area and look up toward the tower with Feral Vision activated and you'll be

able to see him. This sniper will easily kill you if you don't take him out

now.

Shoot a few of the other rebels once the sniper is killed then charge the tower

and kill the remainder of them. If you don't charge the tower then the rebels

will keep respawning in the east. All of the other rebels are equipped with

P90's. Find the floodgate mechanism down the steps behind the tower and shoot

it from a safe distance to complete the objective.

SAVE POINT!

_

|_| Open the main valve [OB79]

Find the path near the crates on the south side of the refinery. This path is

to the left of the doorway you went through to destroy the auxiliary pumps. A

cutscene will play once you start moving along the path. Kien Do will run in

front of you and head for a doorway up ahead. A platform will fall from the

right and nearly crush him. Follow Kien Do and another cutscene will activate.

Don't shoot him or your game ends!

Run down the tunnel ahead. You can't go up the stairs directly in front of you

so move down the set of stairs to the left and go down the next tunnel at the

bottom. Make sure to grab the armor in the room to the side!

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

|=============================================================================|

| Enter the first room off to the side below the stairs and you'll find this |

| to the right of the doorway. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Walk out the door at the far end of all the corridors and find the fenced

corridor on the right side up ahead. Don't go down the stairs yet. Head to

the north and find the main valve then press and hold the C button to open it.

SAVE POINT!

_

|_| Defeat the commando leader [OB711]

During the cutscene where Jack opens the main valve the commando leader will

appear and take a shot at Kien Do. Notice that he has a rocket launcher.

Start shooting at him as he moves down the elevator directly after the

cutscene. Make sure to stay constantly moving since he will be shooting

rockets at you the entire time. You'll have to meet up with him at the bottom

of this area in order to finish him off.

Run down the stairway on the catwalk and move to the northeast once you get off

the stairs. Keep moving along the path along the side of the mountain and find

the entrance between two rocks on the far west side. This is NOT the doorway

that you'll run across - this is a cave entrance. The entrance blends in

extremely well and actually looks like just another part of the mountain wall

from far away so look closely!

Move through the tunnel then go down the stairs to the left at the end. The

enemy commander will be roaming around on the bottom floor somewhere below you.

He can easily be scoped out and killed from the area right next to the stairs

that you just came down. If you want to get up close and personal then move

down the stairs on the west side. You can also just jump into the river in the

waterway below and jump out then attack him. He is much, much easier if you

just shoot him from a high ledge however. Turn on your feral vision to help

you see him then shoot him with your sniper rifle. It takes about a full clip

and half to finish him off. Shoot him in the head and he will most likely die

even faster!

_

|_| Escape via the underground river [OB721]

You can pick up the commando leader's rocket launcher but you should really

keep the sniper rifle. Find the opening to the south on the side of the

waterway. A cutscene will activate once you move through the opening.

Jack will toss Kien Do into the boat then you'll have to drive down the river.

Just follow any path since they all lead the same way. There will be several

rocks that will fall from the ceiling so keep moving at a slow pace to avoid

them. A few rebels will attack on the sides while you move down the river but

it is better to just drive past them than to shoot at them since they are so

high. Once you start to see the light at the end of the tunnel the stage will

eventually end.

|_| Protect Kien Do [OB81]

This part is much easier on this Wii version when compared to the Xbox versions

thanks to the enemy AI. Rebels will storm the area and run toward you and Kien

Do. You don't have to stay near him all the time, but you should check up on

him regularly since the rebels will run toward him and kill him quickly if you

are not around. Only leave the safety of the log for short amount of time and

don't stay gone too long.

The main problem here is the snipers. They come from the east and there will

be quite a number of them. Sometimes they will move to the south and attack

but they usually like to shoot from a distance even if they can't see you. Be

sure to locate the snipers quickly and kill them. You will have to run and

collect some P90 ammo sometime since you will likely start to run out. Return

to Kien Do after all the rebels are gone to get your next objective.

_

|_| Locate rebel camp and find a boat [OB82]

Go north once all the rebels are dead. Turn to the east and you'll find a path

to follow. Some red dots will appear on the radar while moving along the path,

yet nothing attacks!?

SAVE POINT!

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

|=============================================================================|

| Look near the stack of lumber. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

You'll come across a few rebels up ahead. You can move along either path once

they split, to the south or north, but I prefer to take the south path since

you'll run across a grenade gun turret. The enemies in this area carry a

variety of weapons so it is hard to pick just one. Be sure to grab the machine

gun turret in the east then move across the bridge beside it.

SAVE POINT!

While moving along the path past the bridge, look for the ATV behind the gate

to the side - this ATV is chained to a metal piece covering a hole in the

ground. Hop over the gate. Get on the ATV and move forward so it pulls the

metal piece away from the hole. Run down the stairs in the newly uncovered

hole to find a storage area with tons of weapons! Grab what you need then

continue down the path to the north.

There is a sniper in a tower at the front of the enemy base ahead that usually

finds your location very well if you move down the path or on the hill to the

left of the path. Get up on the hill to the right of the main path and turn on

your feral vision then zoom on the tower and shoot the sniper before he sees

you. Once the sniper is dead you won't have any problems entering the base.

You can use the left hill to sneak into the base, but it doesn't really matter

since the alarm will eventually be sounded once you are found. Run into the

base and kill all the rebels. Be sure to raid the buildings for supplies. You

can hit the switch for the alarms to disable them - one is in the east the

other is on the south side of the camp.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

|=============================================================================|

| Check the table by the east building. It's in a training area. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Find the boathouse on the east side of the camp and enter the building to find

a boat.

_

|_| Drive the vehicle back to Kien Do [OB83]

Walk over to the far right side of the boathouse and pull the lever on the wall

(look for the blue glow) to open the entrance of the boathouse. Get in the

boat and drive to the south once the entrance is opened.

SAVE POINT!

Turn right when the river splits immediately after driving it out of the

boathouse. Rebels will appear along the side and shoot at you, patrol boats

will chase after you, and a helicopter will hover above your boat and fire

missiles into the water - he will usually hit the area in front of you. The

best advice for this part is to keep moving. Go, go, GO! Take the left path

when the river splits for the second time and take the left path again when the

river appears to split the second time (the right path is a dead end). The

helicopter will fire the missiles in a pattern so the missile explosions are

predictable and can be avoided. Once you make it back to where Kien Do should

be then the enemies will let up if you drive far enough ahead of them.

_

|_| Follow Kien Do's blood traces [OB84]

Oh, there is one catch though - Kien Do is not there! Jack will activate his

Feral Vison and spot Kien Do's blood trail from where was dragged away. Kien

Do's blood trail will have an orange glow to it so activate your Feral Vision

and look for his blood trails then follow them. It's actually easier just to

look for the actual red blood trails on the ground in this Wii version instead

of using Feral Vision most of the time - your choice though.

Head to the east then move up the hill to the north. You'll start to find

weapons in his blood trails and see some very strange appearances on both the

radar and on the actual screen. Maybe those strange red dots that appeared at

the very beginning of this stage weren't a glitch!? Heh, they're not. Move to

the east and keep following the blood trails to a tent with a nearby pond next

to it. Follow the pond to the north and you'll see some more silhouettes and

receive a clue that this is not the rebels' doing.

The blood trails will lead down a path to the northwest. When you come to the

pond to the northwest a few rebels will attack from the north side. Blast them

and go north - the west pond portion is a dead end. Move through the shallow

water ahead while heading north. Another silhouette will move across the area

up ahead and then some rebels will suddenly surround you. These rebels appear

out of thin air from all sides so just be sure to watch the map then be ready

to blast them quickly. Go ahead and pick up the BC-74s that the enemies drop.

Continue to the north through all the shallow water then find the white sand

path to the east.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

|=============================================================================|

| Find the netted area in the east and this pickup will be behind the |

| sandbags under the netting along with other pickups. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

SAVE POINT!

You'll eventually be forced to turn to the south. There is a minefield ahead

but the mines are easy to see - they are planted in the sandy sections without

grass so just avoid those areas to keep from getting hit. You can shoot the

mines. Once you start moving to the east again there will not be any more

mines, but near the waterfall on the right you will have to deal with a few

rebels.

Follow the river to the east then start moving up the hill while following the

blood trails. Sneak up on the rebels in the small camp ahead then shoot them

all. Grab the armor and other pickup from the table to the side then continue

to the east. I would recommend that you drop the sniper rifle and grab a

machine gun since that will be the most dropped weapon in the areas ahead.

Carefully move down the hill to the east (go down one of the sides) to avoid

damage.

SAVE POINT!

Further to the east a cutscene will activate. This cutscene will introduce a

new enemy - feral warriors. These enemies carry blowguns that will neutralize

your feral powers for a few seconds. They also possess feral powers like you

so you'll see them performing amazing acts such as jumping great distances or

running very quickly. The feral warriors like to jump toward you and attack

from the air, which is one of their biggest flaws since you can simply wait for

them to land then hit with your Machete. Other than the Machete, heavy

firepower is recommended.

The first feral warrior is just a taste of what's to come. He will stand up on

the tree platform then eventually jump down and speak to you. You can't use

your feral power while fighting the first one since he hits Jack with a dart in

the prior cutscene. Keep in mind that the first feral warrior is invincible

while he talks at the beginning of the battle - hit him when he jumps away.

Sometimes you'll actually here Stephen Dorff's voice instead of the actor for

the Wii version when you kill the first feral warrior. Jack (or Stephen Dorff)

says, "Talk is cheap, *****" randomly. Stephen Dorff was the voice actor for

Jack's character in the Xbox and Xbox 360 versions.

As you walk across the bridge to the north, feral warriors and soldiers will

swarm the area. Make use of the armors and med packs on the bridge since you

will need them. The fight can get quite intense (actually extremely hard), so

be ready to shake the nunchuck to regain life, that is, if you're not hit with

a blowdart. Jack's entire predator gauge will fall if he is hit with a blow

dart. The feral soldiers with the guns are the worst enemies at this part.

Make sure to keep moving so they don't hit you with their jump attack - it

damages heavily. A shotgun is a very bad weapon to have for this part. If

this part gets too hard, then just run past the bridge and head to the north.

Keep jumping while you move and only a few will follow.

A message will appear about using your feral vision to identify climbable

areas. Use your feral vision and look toward the middle tree. See the glowing

orange trace? You don't? Well, that's probably because the orange traces

blend in extremely well to the environment in the Wii version making it useless

to activate feral vision here. You need to climb the east side of the tree

with the wooden piece lying against it. A cutscene will begin once you climb

far enough.

Jack will start out in the plane from the cutscene and he will grab a blowgun.

I suggest that you pick back up whatever weapon you had since the blowgun isn't

all that great. You need to start picking up the machine guns! Once you move

up the bridge ahead, you'll gain some new objectives.

_

|_| Destroy interference sources (x3)

_

|_| Locate Kien Do's emitter

SAVE POINT!

_

|_| Destroy interference source 1 [OB85]

Feral warrior will attack up ahead on the wooden platform. Move across the

bridge on the north side. You'll get quite a bit of machine gun ammo off the

table to the side.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

|=============================================================================|

| Once you move across the bridge to the north, check next to the table |

| beside the bridge to the west. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Go across the bridge to the west. Move across the next set of bridges and head

south. Use your feral vision to locate the sniper on the tree platform to the

east then shoot him with either a sniper rifle or a machine gun. The machine

gun has some good range! A feral soldier will be manning a turret to the north

so be ready to shoot him. There's no need to unhinge the turret since you

can't take it with you where you're going. Find the red blinking device on the

north side of the platform with the turret and shoot it. It is actually an

++INTERFERENCE SOURCE (1/3)++.

_

|_| Destroy interference source 2 [OB86]

On the north side of the platform with the turret, shoot the sniper on the

lower platform to the right then jump and slide down the zipline that leads to

the far off platform in the north. Upon landing, fall down to the large

platform below you and blast the soldiers. Turn to the west and find the

turret then unhinge it and head down the path to the west.

SAVE POINT!

An enemy will drop an explosive crate from the platforms above when you turn to

the north. Turn on your feral vision and find the sniper on the platforms

above then wipe out the soldiers around the current area while moving

northwest. Turn on your feral vision once again before too long and find the

sniper above the platform that you southeast. Across the bridge to the

northwest, kill the sniper on the high platform to the southwest then collect

the armor near the table and blast the ++INTERFERENCE SOURCE (2/3)++.

_

|_| Destroy interference source 3 [OB87]

Once you move across the bridge to the north take the bridge on the right and

keep heading east. A feral warrior will roll a barrel down at you if you take

the left bridge - that side doesn't go anywhere. Make sure to look out for the

snipers ahead and kill them quickly across the right bridge - one of them is on

a high platform to the left.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

|=============================================================================|

| You'll find this next to a table on one of the platforms to the east |

| shortly after moving over the right bridge. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

SAVE POINT!

After the save point triggers while moving up the ramp to the east, get ready

for an ambush. Start by shooting the soldier with the rocket launcher on the

southeast high platform then shoot the sniper on the south high platform. Run

around the platform and kill the feral warriors and soldiers that jump onto the

platform. Use the middle tree for cover when you need to reload and shake the

nunchuck often to get your life back. It may be a good idea to activate your

Predator gauge here if it is full. The Machete will work well for when you are

facing one enemy but don't rush toward a group of them while slicing.

Jump to the highest rooftop of the stands to the north side of platform then

jump to the overhead floor. Find the zipline on the south side then jump and

slide down the rope. Try to shoot the soldiers while falling. Find the table

to the side with the ++INTERFERENCE SOURCE (3/3)++ on top then shoot it or just

shoot the red explosive barrel next to it.

SAVE POINT!

_

|_| Reach Kien Do's emitter [OB88]

Now you'll begin to her Kien Do's beeping emitter. Fall down to the platform

below then run across the bridge to the east. This is not mandatory, but you

can hop over to the platform with the glowing blue lever on the north platform

and pull it to make the planes propeller up above blow the tables over on the

soldiers up ahead. Other than that, blast the soldiers and the feral warriors

on the platform to the east then continue up the ramp to the north. After

killing the soldiers on the next platform move toward the red glow on the table

to the north.

SAVE POINT!

Flip the lever on the tree below the red glow to make a plane in the distance

fall over and form a bridge between the platforms off to the east. Another

feral warrior may appear behind you at that point. Unhinge the turret behind

the sandbags and take it with you down the bridge to the north and across the

plane to the southeast. Kill all the feral enemies on the next platform.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

|=============================================================================|

| You'll find this next to the table before the ramp. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Follow the ramp to the north, then east, then south and blast the feral enemies

along the way - no snipers.

SAVE POINT!

Feral warrior will jump down and surround you on the platform to the east.

They pause when they jump so you can easily take them down before they gang up.

Locate the plane on the south side of the platform then quickly move through it

and run to the other side before it falls. It will start to fall when you get

near the middle.

You'll have to climb the tree in the middle. Look for the board that is

propped up against the tree then move up the board and Jack will automatically

grab onto the climbable portion. Hop onto the lift suspended by the rope on

the platform above and ride it to the northeast. Right before the lift comes

to stop, blast the soldier that run out into the open - he has a rocket

launcher! Walk to the east and Jack will automatically find the ++EMITTER++ as

a cutscene trigger on the east bridge.

A helicopter will dive in and bomb the area to the east. Move across the

bridge.

SAVE POINT!

Prepare for a battle since a few soldiers will be lurking about up the hill

ahead of you. They will shoot down the helicopter. Don't rush into the middle

of them since one of them has a rocket launcher. Stand behind some rocks and

shoot them. The helicopter that they shot down will eventually explode and

take half of the rock path to the east with it. You'll have to jump across to

the other side - you can do this without the need to activate Predator mode.

Stand on one of the high points along the sides (left or right) and run toward

the edge then jump and you'll barely make it.

SAVE POINT!

Feral warriors and soldiers will attack up the hill to the east. The feral

warriors will jump onto the rock ledge from the bottom and soldiers will be

lurking about at the top so pick one group of them and take them all out then

kill the rest. One of the soldiers has a sniper. Grab the sniper from him

once everything is dead since you will need snipers once again starting on the

next stage. Move up the rest of the hill to complete this stage.

SAVE POINT!

Find and kill Semeru

_

|_| Find Kien Do [OB91]

Follow the path to the south. Turn on your feral vision to see that the wall

at the end is climbable. Climb up the wall then turn the west while still on

the wall once you climb to the top to see a higher path to the side. Jump over

to that path by leaping off the current wall. You need to be careful while

leaping from walls like this since Jack can hit his head on the top portion of

the mountain and this will make him not jump as far. Move down the new path to

the west.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

|=============================================================================|

| In the far west of the high path, jump up the hill and you'll find this |

| near a stack of boards. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

About halfway down the path, you'll notice a tall tree with a big bottom half

and to the right and left there are black walls that you can climb. Climb the

wall to the right and move along the ledge to the east and jump the gap to get

to the other side. Jump to the next ledge in the northwest then climb up the

black wall. Climb the left side at first since a boulder will fall down the

right side. Transition to the right side once the boulder falls in order to

pull yourself up.

SAVE POINT!

Stand on the narrow ledge in the far west then jump across to the path on the

other side of the mountain. Move to the left side as the landslide of boulders

starts to roll down the hill or you could run back behind the mountain wall to

the right. Hiding behind the wall is safer.

Go up the hill then turn on your feral vision to see that the black wall on the

right side is climbable. Climb the wall then look directly behind you to see

another climbable black wall. Jump to the next black wall from the current

black wall. Once you reach the top of the second black wall, turn around once

again to spot another wall across from you. Leap to the third black wall then

climb all the way to the top. If you have problems pulling yourself up on the

ledge from the third black wall then turn around and leap over to the ledge

across from you.

Move to the southwest. Find the blood trail on the wall that leads up to the

entrance of the shrine up above. Turn on your feral vision to see that the

wall with the blood trail is climbable. Walk toward the wall and a cutscene

will trigger right before you climb it.

SAVE POINT!

A few soldiers are lurking in the shrine ahead and they will tear the living

hell out of anything that charges in after them so stand outside and shoot them

from a distance or use grenades.

_

|_| Defeat Semeru [OB92]

Once the coast is clear for the most part, enter the shrine. In order to get

the drop on some soldier in the next area, break the wall on the left side with

your Machete then break the next wall to the right at the end of the small

corridor. This will position you behind a sandbag for a little extra cover

compared to nothing through the other path. Kill the soldiers (let them come

to you) then find the soldier on the west high platform and kill him.

Once you enter the room more soldiers may appear.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

|=============================================================================|

| Break the wall up the stairs to the right upon entering the room and run up |

| the stairs behind to the left to find this at the top. There are also some |

| more weapons on the platform to the southeast of the ledge where the |

| soldiers were. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Walk through the corridor with the torch to the west.

SAVE POINT!

The set of corridors will lead to another big room with soldiers. Turn on your

feral vision while entering the big room and locate the soldiers on the high

ledge to the left and shoot them first (one of them has a sniper) then enter

the room and take out the remaining soldiers.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

|=============================================================================|

| Move down the steps of the big room and search the right side of the bottom |

| portion to find this lying on a board. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Go through the doorway on the northwest side of the room and climb the stairs

inside. Soldiers will appear on the bottom floor so shoot them from the high

ledge after running up the stairs. Turn to the east then jump to the ledge

across from the current one, then jump to the south ledge, and finally jump to

the west ledge. Walk out onto the narrow ledge then jump to the ledge across

from you. Move to the next ledge beside it to the northwest.

SAVE POINT!

Walk to the end of the ledge then jump to the mountain path in the northwest.

Turn on your feral vision as you come to the end of the path on the other side

and fire down at the soldiers below. Fall down the side of the wall at the end

of the path once everything is quite once again. There is a hidden turret in

this area and you really need to get it. Once you move up the set of steps

turn around and look for the ledge on the left wall to the south. Jump to that

ledge then turn and look for the next ledge against the right wall to the

north. Jump to the second ledge then jump to the long narrow ledge to the

north to find a hidden turret.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

|=============================================================================|

| After falling from the wall in the south find the high platform in the |

| southwest. Get on top of a slender concrete piece then jump to this |

| platform. Try to aim your jump to the side without the railing. You can |

| also stand on the other rocks and still make it with a normal jump. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Walk through the doorway up the stairs to the east.

SAVE POINT!

Turn on your feral vision in the next room to see the soldiers clearly since

they will be at a distance. Make sure to watch for the sniper on the far

northeast platform.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

|=============================================================================|

| Walk to the east wall of the big room then look off to the north to see |

| this armor pickup on a board near the wall. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Move up the stairs on the southeast side of the big room and hop over to the

platform where the sniper was at on the northeast side of the room. Walk

outside the shrine via the east door.

SAVE POINT!

A helicopter will fly down in the area ahead and a gunner will shoot at you

from inside. Shoot the gunner and helicopter will retreat. Run down the steps

to the left and kill the feral warrior that appears. You can grab the grenade

gun turret up the stairs on the east side of the area but it won't do you much

good since you'll have to climb the black wall in the north anyway.

This next area after climbing the black wall can be tough thanks to the snipers

lurking about. Make sure to grab the armor on the board on the left side of

the path.

SAVE POINT!

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> ARMOR PICKUPS << |

|=============================================================================|

| - Follow the far northwest path to the mountain wall at the end to find |

| this pickup behind some shrubbery. |

| |

| - Move down the path to the far east when entering this area and blast the |

| sniper up above. Climb the sidewalls starting with the right wall then |

| leaping to the right wall. At the top, blast the soldiers to the east then |

| look out for the two snipers in the west. Run up the hill in the north to |

| find this armor pickup near a bush. The north ledge across from the west |

| ledge will lead you out of this area if you don't follow the walkthrough |

| below. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Jump up the rock ledges to the west and get up on the high platform. Soldiers

will attack from many sides but none of them have a sniper rifle. Find the

climbable wall in the northwest and jump over to it then pull yourself up on

that ledge.

SAVE POINT!

Kill the three soldiers that attack from above then get ready to shoot two

snipers that will appear as you turn to face the open area to the east - there

is one high on the right and another will appear behind some trees to the left.

If you look to the east, you'll see a piece of a ledge next to a large slanted

rock. Jump over to the piece of ledge and you'll land on a large narrow ledge.

This is where the sniper to the right was positioned. Look to the north and

you'll find a path across from you that leads further into the mountain. Stand

on the north ledge then leap over to the ledge on the other side. You'll find

some armor and a few other pickups on this side. This is the ledge where the

left sniper mentioned earlier was positioned. Follow the path ahead.

SAVE POINT!

Turn to the east and climb up the first black wall to the right then leap to

the other black wall across from it. Climb up the second black wall then look

to the southwest to see another black wall that you can jump to - turn on feral

vision just to make sure then jump. Move over to the right side while on the

third wall so that you are positioned behind the next climbable wall to the

north then turn and jump to it. Climb all the way to the top!

SAVE POINT!

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

|=============================================================================|

| Find the path to the east that leads up the side of the mountain (it's in a |

| corner). Run/jump up it and reach the stairs that lead to a small |

| building. Check the building for the pickup. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Move to the north while killing all the soldiers in the area. Turn on your

feral vision before you reach the wall at the end to see that a high portion of

it is climbable. You will need to climb the black wall to the west then leap

over to the high portion of the north wall.

SAVE POINT!

Walk to the north at the top of the ledge above then drop and walk over to the

doors on the left to trigger a cutscene.

You will be stripped of all of your gear after the cutscene, but the Binoculars

and Machete will automatically be given back to you. Now all you have to fight

the enemies off with is Jack's feral powers and your trusty chopstick. Run up

the path ahead to the northeast. If you don't swing your Machete then Jack

will keep his hands outstretched in that berserk pose.

SAVE POINT!

Jump and cling onto the black wall across from the ledge at the end of the

path. Climb up to the ledge above then move down the west path.

SAVE POINT!

Follow the path to the north. A bush near the end of the path will hide a

higher right path. Move up that right path then turn on your feral vision and

look to the west to see a high portion of the wall that is climbable. Jump to

that climbable piece then pull yourself up to the ledge above. The building up

the stairs has nothing inside so move around the west side of it and follow the

path to the north past the sandbags.

SAVE POINT!

Move up the path to the east and turn on your feral vision and look for the

climbable black wall to the north. There is an enemy up ahead near the

building and we don't him to see Jack so climbing the wall will help. At the

top of the platform with the climbable wall, run to the east side and wait for

the soldier to turn and walk toward the east then run to the ledge and jump all

the way over to the side of the building. Wait for him to walk back around the

side of the building then slice him with your Machete. He will leave behind

the rocket launcher that he was carrying. Enter the building at the top and

pick up the handgun next to the sandbags inside. Follow the path ahead to the

south.

SAVE POINT!

A landslide of boulders will fall down the mountain up ahead so don't move too

fast. Make the turn to the east and watch out for another landslide. Get

ready for a soldier fight after the third landslide. Go for headshots with

your glock as much as possible. Chop some of them down if the handgun runs out

of ammo. Grab their guns to help kill them also. You can also use the rocket

launcher here but be careful!

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> WEAPON STASH << |

|=============================================================================|

| Walk over to the east end of the building on the right. Find the wall with |

| holes in it and hit it with your Machete to reveal a hidden room with tons |

| of artillery. Exchange whatever primary weapon you have for the Carbine on |

| the left set of small crates. This weapon has rapid fire and zooming and |

| you'll find some ammo for it a bit off to the side during the battles |

| ahead. You'll find a med pack and some armor off to the left also. |

| Continue up the path to the east and walk toward the open doors at the end. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

SAVE POINT!

Kill the two soldiers behind the doors then move up the hill to the north.

SAVE POINT!

More soldiers will be lurking about through the doorway to the north. Turn on

your feral vision to help see them all. Check the table under the rooftop to

the right for more Carbine ammo. You'll have to change back to the BC-74

before entering the next area. Walk inside the west doorway along the side or

you just head north along the path to the side of the building - your choice.

The building has a few ammo pickups but more soldiers inside. Either way, head

to the northeast.

Be sure to grab the turret on the top of the building in the northeast (it's on

and outside walkway) - it will help out greatly for the next area. Pick up the

two sniper rifles on the far north ledge as well - you'll have to jump from the

north side of the building. Drop the Carbine and pick up the BC-74 at this

time. Go back through the buildings and pick up the BC-74 ammo if you have to.

Find the armor on the northeast side shortly before you walk through the

doorway in the northeast. Make sure that you have the gun turret! Walk

through the doorway when you're loaded.

SAVE POINT!

The door will seal off and Feral warriors, and a sniper will attack while

you're on the bridge past the doorway. Stay in the far northeast corner of the

bridge if you want to get through this part easily, but you will have to move

once all enemies are defeated. Go for headshots on all feral warriors to kill

the quickly and keep your Predator gauge up. Keep your eye on the rooftop to

the west and blast the sniper as soon as he appears. Three corners of the

bridge will be bombed - the southeast corner, northwest corner, and the

southwest corner so you'll be safe in the northeast corner. Make sure to kill

the enemies very quickly and shake the nunchuck whenever you get low in life.

If you got the turret, this part shouldn't be that bad. Be sure to step away

from the door on the east side once all enemies are defeated since it will be

bombed at that time. Step through the door in the east once it is blown up

SAVE POINT!

You can pick up some more Carbine ammo on the table to the left is you want to.

Follow the path to the east then run across the north bridge. Blast the

soldiers across the first bridge then move across the bridge to the east.

SAVE POINT!

Kill the solders on the other side then you'll have a choice of paths to take.

I would recommend moving across the bridge to the north, so you won't instantly

go into an area with a sniper. Blast the enemies as you see them while moving

to the other side then run across the path to the east. When you come to the

cliff in the southeast, jump to the southeast portion of the area across from

you. A soldier will attack from the left and as you turn to the east and a

sniper will be hiding in the bushes on the right side of the area to the

southeast. Kill the lone soldier quickly then focus on the sniper. The bridge

to the south will only lead you toward the other path you could have taken so

move up the hill to the east. You'll find some broken steps that will lead

down a narrow path.

SAVE POINT!

Eventually you will see a bridge to the north. This bridge has a few feral

warriors patrolling it. Snipe them if you wish or just move along the side

path to the east and get on the bridge then kill them; either way, they will

notice you eventually. A few more feral warrior will be lurking about as you

make your way to the south and head up the stairs to the east. Be sure to grab

the armor below the rooftop on the west wall at the top of the steps. Find the

tunnel along the side of the mountain to the south and follow it to the

southeast.

SAVE POINT!

While moving along the tunnel walkway, an explosion will occur that will a

portion of the walkway up ahead and leave a big gap. Don't even think about

jumping the gap. Instead, turn to the north and turn on your feral vision to

discover that the black wall across from the walkway is climbable. Move to the

side of the walkway close to the walkway then leap over to it and climb to the

top of the ledge up above. Move along the northeast path then jump the gap to

the ledge on the east side. If you fall then climb back up the black wall.

Run past the bushes then fall and turn to the south then jump to the lower

ledge below and follow the path ahead.

SAVE POINT!

Climb the black wall to the south for a cutscene.

SAVE POINT!

_

|_| Break through temple's doors [OB93]

The save point for this area will activate once you move a bit to the west.

The feral soldiers will start shooting from the west side immediately after the

cutscene so turn in that direction and start to fire at them. Shake the

nunchuk often and go for headshots as much as possible. It's a good idea to

move behind the rock to the left as you turn to the west, so you can have a bit

of cover for the first group of soldiers. Move up the path a bit once the

soldiers nearby are dead and start to focus on the closer soldiers up the hill

but be sure to stay near some sort of rock wall for a bit of cover from the

higher enemies. Feral warriors will start to appear later into the battle.

Once you run out of ammo with your primary weapon grab a machine gun found from

the bodies of the soldiers. You do not need a sniper rifle anymore.

The feral warriors will start to enter one at a time once the big group of them

is taken care of. They will jump from the side of the mountain to the west and

they will always land on the upper portion of the path. Position yourself

somewhere around the upper path and hit them with a Machete when they fall, but

ONLY if they are not shooting. If they are shooting then shoot them. Running

into a feral warrior that is shooting is near suicide. Kill them off and grab

their machine gun ammo until you have a full amount. Run over to the wooden

door to the east at the end of the path. The feral warriors will eventually

stop jumping after enough of them have been killed and you move to this

location. Try to leave this area with some sort of primary weapon if your

current one is exhausted and try to make sure your feral gauge is all the way

full.

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| >> ARMOR PICKUP << |

|=============================================================================|

| Check the bushes to the south of the bottom level of this area. |

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Stand in front of the wood door and hit it with your Machete to break it - it

will take more than one hit. Enter the building then walk down the corridor to

the south at the first turn. Load up on the supplies in the middle of the

corridor because this will be your last chance before a major fight that is

coming up.

SAVE POINT!

A cutscene will activate at the end of the corridor to the west.

Boss - Semeru

Semeru is practically the only boss in the game unless you count the commando

leader from earlier. You will be positioned at the bottom of many pillars that

are spread around the area. Unlike the Xbox version, Jack will still have his

feral powers at this point. Semeru will spend this entire battle leaping from

pillar to pillar, and possibly the second floor platforms, while pausing to

shoot at you after about two jumps. The most important aspect of this battle

is to keep Semeru in your sight. Turn on your feral vision to find his body

head if you have to but be sure to find him. You can also find his position by

the red dot on the radar, but the radar isn't always helpful.

Shoot Semeru (preferably in the head) whenever he stops on a pillar or on the

second floor to shoot at you. Constantly stay moving and hide behind a pillar

when he starts to shoot. You can throw grenades or pipe bombs at the pillars

to knock them down. If you knock down a pillar while Semeru is on top then he

will fall with the pillar and remain stunned for a short while. He will remain

on the bottom floor for a while as well making him an easier target - this is

when you can shoot him in the head much easier. Use the assault rifle found

around the sides of this area and you can take him down without the need of

your machine gun. Just one assault rifle will give you full ammo. The side

areas hold other weapons such as grenades and pipe bombs in case you run out of

ammo. Heal when necessary by shaking your nunchuk. Don't worry about going

all out with your ammo at this part or using your predator gauge like mad to

heal.

Once Semeru has taken enough damage, he will jump and bash through the wall on

at the west end of the building. Round up whatever ammo you can find and

follow him by jumping through the hole and falling to the wooded area outside.

Outside...

Semeru will charge at you once you walk forward a bit. Just shoot him a little

and a cutscene will trigger shortly after he falls. Shoot him in the head and

he will fall fast. Once the cutscene ends Jack will be face to face with Kade.

This part will decide what ending you get. You can choose to leave Kade alone

or you can punch Kade three times and kill her (swipe the remote). If you

punch her less than three times then she will still remain alive.

If Jack does not kill Kade...

A cutscene will trigger then you will square off against Semeru once again.

Jack will have infinite feral power at this time. Run toward Semeru and feral

punch him to death. Sometimes just feral punching doesn't work, but most of

the time it will. Feral punching will kill him much quicker than any firearms.

He falls fast in this fight, but he can still kill you quickly if he shoots too

much while you try to hit him with physical attacks.

If Jack kills Kade...

A cutscene will trigger then you will fight Semeru. Jack will start out in a

berserk rage (not Predator mode) and you will not be able to see your life

gauge, which is really bad. Jack does not have any feral power during this

berserk rage. Shoot Semeru and run to the side. Don't try to run up and hit

Semeru at the beginning or he will make quick work of you. Move away from him

and target his head then spam him with bullets and shoot grenades at him. It

will take a TON of bullets to kill him but there are many weapon pickups around

the area. Jack's site will turn to normal after a while and you will be able

to gain feral power by shooting him in the head or hitting him with the

Machete.

DO NOT try to hit him with a physical attack while he shoots or he will murder

you extremely quickly. Be sure to take cover often when he starts to shoot and

constantly heal.

--> Moving behind a tree root, tree, or other type of object that obstructs his

vision of Jack will always make him jump to one of the ledges up on the

mountain. Also, shooting him in the head will make him stagger and throw off

his aim. <-- These techniques right here are the key to beating Semeru in this

sequence and you should take advantage of them!

It's risky to activate Predator mode during this battle since he can kill you

so quickly from up close and he does not fall easy to feral punches this time.

You can hit him physically right after his jump just like with feral warrior,

but you should always back off before he raises his gun. There are two first

aid kits on the two side ledges that he hops up to though jumping to them can

be risky. Shake the nunchuk often after building up your feral meter in order

to stay alive.

Note: Any time during any of these battles when he jumps to the middle ledge

along the mountain wall, shoot the back of the wall up above him to cause a

landslide of rocks to roll down. There is also a landslide that will hit you

if you move to the north wall of the back area where you start. I don't

believe either of these can actually hit you are Semeru - they're just extra

eye candy most likely.

UPDATE: The feral punch can help you out during the battle with Semeru after

killing Kade, but make sure that you don't lunge toward him while he fires.

You can actually trap Semeru with constant knockups from feral punches -

literally juggling him in the air - if you catch him just right, but remember

that he seems to have more life during this phase, so you might not be able to

kill him this way completely.

while typing up most of the main walkthrough for this game. Also, special

shoutouts to my LP groupies from back in the summer of '01 on the Official

Linkin Park boards:

Linkie, Hoya, Kristy, J. Swatek, darkshines, Eleanor, Blind Pig, Sykosis

(bleh), Rebel Saiyijn, Emy (the Mike fan), Anonymous, (hed) L.P ...so many

more.

- Natasha Farrow for her soothing vocals in "Calling to the Night" from Metal

Gear Solid: Portable Ops. I listened to it while making most of the ASCII

for this FAQ.

-- Version History

Version 1.0 - (May 29, 2007) - Walkthrough is finished though it still needs a

bit of proofreading (only parts I and II have been looked over). I decided at

the last minute that I would add a weapons section, so that will come later

once I'm finished with it.

Version 1.1 - (June 1, 2007) - Weapons section added.

Version 1.2 - (July 6, 2007) - Added a bit of info to the final fight.

Version 1.3 - (September 7, 2007) - Randomly spot checked a few areas and

corrected some errors.

-- Contact Info

I can be reached at my email address, which is > berserker_kev @ yahoo.com <,

so please contact me if you have any questions, comments, etc. I don't mind

receiving emails at all. All I ask is for you to try to make the email decent.

I realize that some people do not speak perfect English or cannot type that

well, so that doesn't really matter to me, but all that I ask is that you try

to make it readable. If you found this walkthrough helpful, an email would be

most appreciated.

I would prefer you not to add me to your messenger, but if you do, at least

tell me a bit about yourself and why, or if I know you, tell me who you are.

One of my pet peeves is when people just add me to their messenger without

saying anything. I usually just deny their request.

-- About Me

Well, my name is Kevin. I'm 27 years old (as of March 2007) and reside in the

US (Mississippi). I've been an avid player of video games ever since I first

got an Atari 2600 back when I was 6 years old. I've tried to escape into many

other hobbies but always wind up back to square one with video games. My

favorite gaming series is Resident Evil by far, then second would be

Castlevania. Playing just about any survival horror is a major high point in

my gaming experience.

A few of my other interests include horror movies, anime, and I'm a complete

message board junkie. You can find me at Artic Nightfall (Berserker) or the

Resident Evil or Castlevania IGN message boards (berserker_kev) from time to

time. I'm also a big fan of viewing artwork, though I can't draw myself. Even

though I can't draw, I try to be a creative person through writing, and

hopefully that reflects in my guides. My dream is to be a professional

walkthrough writer, but until then I will continue to publish guides for free

on GameFAQs and the various other gaming sites.

For any other info about me, please see my FAQ Writer of the Month interview at
