God of War Seasons Puzzle Solution: How to Solve the Seasons Puzzle

Seasons change and so must you figure out the correct order of them in the God of War Seasons Puzzle. This puzzle comes at the point in the story in which Kratos, Atreus, and the Head must travel inside the giant Thamur’s corpse in order to find the magic chisel needed. The puzzle comes out of nowhere and requires you to solve both a riddle and puzzle.

Essentially a two in one puzzle, the God of War Seasons Puzzle can be confusing for those of you that are not sure what the answer is. Not only must you figure out the answer to the riddle but you must successfully figure out which icon represents which of the four seasons. That’s where we come in with a solution.

God of War Seasons Puzzle Solution and Walkthrough

The God of War Seasons Puzzle seems simple enough at first. You need to put the seasons in order. But what order? Which season goes first? Is it like the present day where the year starts with Winter? This seemingly simple riddle can make you question a lot and become easily confused.

Atreus will recite a song that his mother sang to him regarding the seasons. If you pay close attention, you will notice that the easy answer to the riddle is Winter, Spring, Summer, and Autumn in that order. However, figuring out which represents which icon can be confusing in the God of War Seasons Puzzle.

Winter is the snowflake, Spring is the flower, Summer is the Sun, and Autumn is the Leaf. If you use your Leviathan Axe to rotate the pillars to reflect those symbols in that order, you will find that it is still wrong. Why is that? At the very beginning of the God of War Seasons Puzzle, Atreus notes – only once – something about “retrograde” which means in reverse.

The true God of War Seasons Puzzle Solution is that but backward. The answer is actually Autumn, Summer, Spring, and Winter so Leaf, Sun, Flower, and Snowflake. Good luck!
