Fortnite LMG Stats: How Powerful Is the Light Machine Gun?

It’s time to review the Fortnite LMG stats, to work out just how powerful this new weapon is. We already know to expect a large magazine size, lengthy reload time and decent damage, but just how devastating is this weapon when applied to the Battle Royale mode? Here’s everything you need to know about the new Fortnite light machine gun.

Fortnite LMG Stats

The Fortnite LMG stats are pretty good on paper, especially when you consider the 100-round magazine. Users can keep on spraying and praying for a good bit of time, ensuring they destroy everyone in their path. The downside here is the reload time, which takes an incredibly long five seconds to cycle through. If those 100 bullets somehow manage to not get the job done, another weapon will have to be swapped to, as reloading the light machine gun in the middle of a fight is not going to be an option.

In terms of damage and the differences between the Fortnite rare LMG and Fortnite epic LMG, the rare kicks out 25, while the epic goes one better with 26.

The Fortnite light machine gun uses medium ammo. It should make for a great weapon to take into the endgame fight, as it seems to be good at taking down both enemies and their structures. To find an LMG of your own, you’ll want to search floor loot, treasure chests and vending machines. Those are all confirmed light machine gun spawn locations.

Following the 3.5 Content Update, the Fortnite light machine gun is now available to use. If you can’t get online to try it out, but still want to see how much damage it can do, we’d recommend checking out some Fortnite LMG gameplay.
