Fortnite Free Back Bling and Battle Stars: How to Get the Free Item in Battle Royale

Fortnite Free Back Bling, alongside some other goodies, will be available for players as an apology for the massive server outage that affect Battle Royale over the last few days. In addition to getting the back bling for free, you’ll be able to get a Troll Stash Llama in Fortnite: Save the World. There’s also some other goodies, including free Battle Stars, coming next week to make up for the extended period where players weren’t able to log on.

How Do I Get the Free Back Bling in Fortnite: Battle Royale?

Fortnite Free Troll Stash Llama

The Fortnite free back bling should be available in the store this weekend. Players will just have to go through the motions of purchasing it, but the price will be 0 V-Bucks. The Troll Stash Llama will be available in the loot tab when you go into Save the World.

Next week, Fortnite players can look forward to more free loot. A pack of Battle Stars will be available for Battle Royale players at no cost. If you log onto Save the World next week, you’ll get an additional gift in the form of Seasonal Gold. Both of these rewards will be available after the planned update next week.

Epic Games also said in the announcement of the free back bling, and other freebies that it’ll would be releasing a detailed postmortem detailing this weeks issues. It seems that a massive database failure is what caused login issues among players, and that emergency maintenance was required to fix the problem. Epic also promises to detail what measure it will take to prevent this kind of incident from occurring in the future.

In addition to these free items, next weeks update will likely bring a slew of new costumes, some of which have been leaked by data miners. So much downtime over the last few days was a bummer, but it’s great to see that Epic is trying to make up for it the best it can.
