Ni no Kuni 2 Leveling Guide: How to Level Up Quickly

As with every major JRPG, you will inevitably find yourself wanting to know how to level up quickly in Ni no Kuni 2. Our Ni no Kuni 2 leveling guide is for you, then, as we will detail the best ways to level up in the game so that you don’t find yourself left behind by the main story’s level requirements.

Thankfully, this sequel isn’t too terribly hard ( as long as you have a grasp of the action-based combat system) so you shouldn’t have to worry much about being underleveled for the main story until later on towards the end of the game. However, that’s where we come in with our Ni no Kuni 2 leveling guide.

Ni no Kuni 2 Leveling Guide: How to Level Up Quickly

Let’s start our Ni no Kuni 2 leveling guide by noting that there aren’t any bad ways of attempting to level up in this massive JRPG. Simply venturing out of the many dungeons scattered across the overworld and taking on various random enemies located there through grinding is still just as useful as you would expect.

However, there are two main methods for how to level up quickly in Ni no Kuni 2 that we want to focus on for this leveling guide. The first is pretty obvious on its own, and that’s completing the literal hundreds of side quests available to you in the game. Though not all of them are available right off the bat, knocking out these babies as you go will have you well on your way to being the right level.

But there is another method in our Ni no Kuni 2 leveling guide that you might not have considered that is even better than completing side quests, and that’s the Tainted Monsters. This is an assortment of special bounty monsters that are superpowered versions of the monsters you’ll normally face in the wild. There’s only one of each and once you’ve killed it, it’s gone forever.

You can check the locations and info on the Tainted Monsters by going to the main menu, then Library, then the Tainted Monsters section. Here, you’ll find info on all of them. These monsters are really hard to defeat, but it’s absolutely worth it for the insane amount of experience you will get from them. This is the best way for how to level up quickly in Ni no Kuni 2.
