Monster Hunter World How to Block

Monster Hunter World Hunter King Coin Guide: How to Get This Coin From the Arena

The Arena is one of the more challenging parts of the optional content in World, allowing you to fight beasts that you’ve already taken down before but in a timed and more difficult setting. One of the most important rewards in the Arena is the Monster Hunter World Hunter King Coin.

The Hunter King Coin is used for crafting a large variety of armor and weapons, some of the best in the game in fact. This makes getting the Monster Hunter World Hunter King Coin a true challenge and goal for any Hunter wanting to get the most out of their game. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t quite explain which beasts you need to take down and how to get it, and that’s where we come in.

Monster Hunter World Hunter King Coin Guide: How to Get This Coin From the Arena

There are actually a few different beasts that you can fight in the Arena to get the Monster Hunter World Hunter King Coin, but there is one that we believe is both the best and easiest for doing so. That monster is the Barroth, specifically, the High Rank Barroth.

If you’re trying to get you some Monster Hunter World Hunter King Coins, we recommend taking on the High Rank Barroth repeatedly in order to farm for the Hunter King Coin. It’s worth noting that you only need to defeat the Barroth in the Arena in order to have a chance at successfully getting one of these coins.

The High Rank Barroth is found in Arena Quest 5, which you can access via the Arena Lass in the Gathering Hub. While the Barroth is the easiest monster to defeat, you can also get the Hunter King Coin from:

  • Arena Quest 6: Dodogama
  • Arena Quest 7: Azure Rathalos

You don’t actually have to achieve rank A by defeating it quickly in order to get the Monster Hunter World Hunter King Coin. It is possible to get one of these even for the lowest rank. Good luck!
