Street Fighter 5 We Toucan Be Friends Guide: How to Beat the Challenge

Street Fighter 5 has unleashed its new weekly mission, We Toucan Be Friends and it’s a toughie, if you don’t know where to look. Thankfully, I’m here to help – and in a few easy steps you’ll be able to beat the challenge into submission.

To complete the Street Fighter 5 weekly mission, you’re going to need to come across a toucan. For that, head on over to Hillside Plaza with any character – set it to easy on versus mode against a slower or easy-to-dodge opponent if it’ll make things less painful – and, as you begin fighting, you’ll soon spot a trader, a whole bunch of fruit, and a toucan perched besides the stall. Now it’s time to unleash some pain (and I’m not just talking about that terrible pun)

You’re going to want to make the toucan head on down to street level to complete the mission. Don’t worry, though, it’s a lot easier than it sounds. You don’t need any mastery of virtual martial arts to pull this one off.

To get the toucan’s attention, you’re going to need to head to the right of the stage and pull off some big moves and combos. Once you’ve done enough damage (typically around half of the opponent’s health bar or 3-4 big combos), the toucan will fly off and grab an orange, much to the chagrin of the fruit seller. The animation will only last 4-5 seconds but all you have to do is witness it, and then the cheeky scamp will return back to its previous spot.

And there you have it, that’s how to beat We Toucan Be Friends! Easy, right? The mission is around until February 15 so be sure to get it done while it still lasts and bag some of that sweet, sweet Fight Money.
