Nazi Zombies WW2 split-screen comes with Call of Duty WW2, but it’s not apparent it’s an option when you first start the game. It can be confusing to access the Nazi Zombies WW2 split-screen in CoD WW2 since it’s a bit different than the older games. However, rest assured, there is split-screen in this edition of Zombies, and below you can find out how to get to it.
How to Play Nazi Zombies WW2 Split-Screen
Before you can actually start playing Nazi Zombies in split-screen. You have to make sure that all accounts on your console have access to online services. This means you need to make whatever console you’re on the home console for the account that has Xbox Live or PlayStation Plus service.
- To do this for Xbox One you need to go to Settings, then Personalisation, and set it as your home Xbox.
- For PlayStation 4 you can do this by going to Settings, then Account Management, then activate the console as your primary PS4.
The reason you need to do the above is because if an account with Xbox Live or PS Plus access assigns a console as their home machine, then online service gets shared with every account that logs in, even if they aren’t paying for Xbox Live or PS Plus.
Once this is done, you can start up CoD WW2. The first player needs to highlight Nazi Zombies WW2, and on the second controller, you need to start the activity with X or A. Once the main Zombies menu loads you’ll see that in the top-right it’ll indicate that there are two players connected.
Once you’ve done this, you can start an online match with other players and still play couch co-op with your friend. You can also use this method of the regular multiplayer in Call of Duty WW2.
That’s all there is to playing Nazi Zombies WW2 split-screen co-op. I’m not sure why they made it so obtuse to access, but once you’ve done it once it’s easy.
