Datalattice Destiny 2

Destiny 2 Datalattice: Where to Farm This Resource

Being such a massive persistent online game, Destiny 2 is filled with various different resources and currency that you will need to farm frequently (check out our guide section for more); Datalattice being one of them. Datalattice can be found only on the planet Nessus, one of the major locations introduced in the base content of Destiny 2.

What is Datalattice Destiny 2?

First and foremost, you will need to know what this particular resource’s purpose is. Datalattice is simple enough to understand on its own: you collect it and take it to the planet’s vendor (the barely sane AI Failsafe) to increase your reputation very quickly. Then that reputation builds up until you receive a faction engram that includes Legendary weapons and armor. That Legendary item you get is one of the simplest and easiest ways to increase your Power level in the endgame.

Datalattice Destiny 2 Locations Guide

Sometimes, you’ll even receive objectives tasking you with finding 10 Datalattice for more rewards on top of the reputation. Because of that, you’ll need lots and lots of Datalattice in Destiny 2. You can go about this in one of two ways: farming for them in one specific location that is great for finding it or spreading your search all over the planet. We’ll begin with the first method.

There is a really awesome location perfect for farming Datalattice on Nessus. This video by Massive Trigger Gaming on YouTube is perfect for showing you that. All you need to do is go to the Tangle and redo the same instance in the area that the Vex time gate takes you to. This is perfect for nabbing a lot of Datalattice over and over.

Of course, that can be repetitive and boring doing so much farming. If you want more variety in your Destiny 2 gameplay, you can just as easily scour the map doing patrols and public events, as you can typically find Datalattice scattered near those locations. Happy hunting!
