Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris How Long to Beat

Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris: How Long is it and How Many Missions?

Curse of Osiris is out for Destiny 2, and the new expansion adds a whole new planet for players to explore. Players who have been with the game  since the beginningare dying to know how many missions there are and how long it takes to beat the new DLC. A lot of Guardians beat the base content of Destiny 2 months ago and luckily the Curse of Osiris missions are enjoyable even if they aren’t very long.

Below we explain how many missions there are in Curse of Osiris and how long the new Destiny 2 expansion takes to beat.

How Long is Curse of Osiris for Destiny 2?

Unfortunately, it doesn’t take long to beat Curse of Osiris. Though the new Destiny 2 content is welcome, there’s not a ton of it. Comparing it to the original Destiny expansions, Curse of Osiris is more similar in size to The Dark Below than The Taken King.

Counting just the campaign missions, it’ll take you around three to five hours to complete the story of Curse of Osiris. There are some new items to chase and more of the kind of content we got with the base game. Mercury has some new public events, each with heroic variations, and with the changes coming next week, it probably won’t be hard to squeeze another 20-30 more hours out of Destiny 2 with the Curse of Osiris expansion.

How Many Missions are in Curse of Osiris for Destiny 2?

Curse of Osiris has nine missions in total that make up its story. Each of these missions takes anywhere from 20-45 minutes to complete and tells the story of the Vex plot to alter reality and the tale of the legendary guardian Osiris.

To put this in perspective, it takes about half the time that it did to complete the base Destiny 2 campaign to finish Curse of Osiris. I will say that even though it’s short, it’s more interesting than the previous campaign, and it fills out a good chunk of lore about the early days of the Guardians and what the Vex are really all about.
