South Park: The Fractured But Whole features a variety of classes and powers for players to select, with the RPG allowing you to pick and choose which abilities you can use to aid you on your adventure. There are a total of 10 classes you’ll be able to use throughout the game, and you can mix and match them in order to create your own unique class combination.
While this approach allows for a large degree of customization and grants Fractured But Whole a surprising amount of depth, it does mean that there are an almost overwhelming number of powers to choose from and it can be difficult to know which ones will be of most use as you progress through the game. Speedsters are light on their feet, prioritizing mobility and strength. While there are stronger classes in the game, none have greater mobility than the Speedster, making it a strong first choice.

Should you pick them?
A highly powerful class with minimal range, the Brutalist is the ideal class for those who want to dish out high amounts of damage. Their low range means that they’ll struggle when facing off against enemies attacking them from a distance, but as a DPS class they’re one of the game’s strongest options.

A ranged hero that deals moderate damage, the Blaster is a decent all-rounder with some helpful status effects. Not the most impactful of classes, there are certainly better options in the game.

A low-damage class with weather-based status effects and good range, the Elementalist can be a pest for the enemy team on the battlefield. If you’re okay with substituting power for status effects, then this class is a good option.

A ranged class with moderate damage and a high amount of status effects, the Psychic is an excellent support class that can divide the enemy team. Equipped with both healing powers and the ability to confuse the enemy, the Psychic is great for both buffing allies and making enemies easier to deal with.

A moderate damage class with status effects and decent range, as its name suggests the Assassin attacks from the shadows. A great class to pair with high damage attacks, the Assassin ensures that you can stealthily infiltrate the enemy’s back line, deal out a ton of damage and then slink back into darkness.

Fractured But Whole Class Guide: Gadgeteer
A gadget-based class with plenty of tools to get the job done, the Gadgeteer uses, er, gadgets in order to aid your attack. Armed with a robot that detonates over a period of time and a turret that deals sustained damage until it’s destroyed, the Gadgeteer can be a pain for the enemy to deal with and its gadget-based abilities are best paired with some healing powers.

Straight Shooter
