Total War: Warhammer 2 Preload and Driver Info: How to Get Your PC Ready

Total War: Warhammer 2 is launching later this week (September 28), and fans of the series are gearing up to once again head into battle. If you’re preparing to do so, then you’re going to want to ensure that you’ll be receiving the most optimal experience on your PC, and that you’ll be able to hop into the game immediately on launch day. As such, we’ve detailed the game’s system requirements, driver info and preload times below:

 

Total War: Warhammer 2 pre-load times

Those who have pre-purchased Total War: Warhammer 2 will be able to preload the game, meaning that they’ll be able to download it before the game launches in order to ensure that on release day, they’ll be able to begin playing it immediately. Here are the times that preloading will be made available worldwide:

  • 9.30 am PT
  • 11.30 am CT
  • 12.30 am ET
  • 5.30 pm BST

 

Total War: Warhammer 2 driver info

In order to ensure that you’ll get the optimal level of performance from Total War: Warhammer 2, PC owners will need to head over to either NVIDIA or AMD to download the drivers for their graphics card.

If you own an NVIDIA graphics card, head here. If you own an AMD graphics card, head here and click the Drivers & Support tab. As noted by the Total War: Warhammer 2 devs on the game’s official forum: “NVIDIA and AMD both offer free companion software to make the most of your graphics card – NVIDIA Geforce Experience, and AMD ReLive. Once installed and running, these software packages can inform you when new drivers become available for download, and offer a host of bonus functions, such as recording and sharing your own video footage.
