How To Unlock The Secret Dog Shrine in Undertale

You think you know Undertale? It’s a safe bet you don’t know this particular area. If you picked up the newest version of Undertale for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, you’re privy to a new area that you can only access within the confines of those systems. If you’re familiar with Undertale, you probably could guess what the shrine is for, but for the sake of everyone else reading, here’s a hint. It barks. That’s right, there’s an entire little shrine dedicated to dogs in this new version of Undertale, and you can find it yourself. Even the trophies make references to the Dog Shrine, which you should definitely find and worship at to appease the Canine Gods. Here’s how you can journey to the Dog Shrine in Undertale.

How to Find Undertale’s New Dog Shrine

First of all, you need to answer a simple question. If you killed Papyrus, you won’t be able to use this method. If you did spare his life, however, you’ll need to make sure you head back to his house after you’ve been invited for a date. You’ll be able to head inside and then look under the sink to find the Annoying Dog. He’s got an adorable little kingdom beneath there, and it’s a big Dog Shrine. You should be able to tell by how big the sink is, which is abnormally large. That’s about all you need to do to find it.

When you do find it, you can keep donating money to the dog shrine until you reach 350G, and the dog will add more goodies to its shrine. It’s absolutely adorable, and you should keep throwing money at the rare pupper.

If you did kill Papyrus, which makes you kind of heartless, then you’ll have to search for the Dog Shrine in the trash dump area by the Waterfall. You won’t be able to donate to the Dog Shrine if you’re headed down this path, however, so keep that in mind.

And that’s that! Happy Dog Shrining!
