PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has a lot of weapons that you can find while looting. In most cases you’ll be at the mercy of what’s available, but you may just find yourself with a full bag of weapons wondering which to aim at your enemies.
Below you will find a list of the weapons with the best stats. These are the weapons worth modding, and spending time to become familiar with.
Assault Rifle
All assault rifles are considered top-tier options with great range and firepower. The two below have the best balance of stats, though.
- AKM
- SCAR
Pistol
You won’t be doing much damage with a pistol, but at the very least they can save you in a pinch when you run out of ammo on your main weapon
- M1911
- R1895
Shotgun
Out of all the weapon options, shotguns are by far the worst. It isn’t often that you’ll find yourself battling someone in close quarters where these weapons thrive, and even when you do they offer very little advantage over assault rifles unless your aim is perfect.

Sniper Rifle
Due to the large scale of the world map, sniper rifles are incredibly powerful. Although all of them can be used with effective results, there are two in particular that players should hunt for.
- AWM (supply drop only)
- M24
Submachine Gun
Submachine guns aren’t particularly great, but are easy to find. These should be tossed away the moment you find an assault rifle or sniper rifle.

- Tommy Gun (supply drop only)
