Albion Online – How to Craft a Beginner’s Skinning Knife and Mercenary Jacket

The first two items you will ever be asked to craft in Albion Online are the Beginner’s Skinning Knife and Mercenary Jacket. These two items might be for new players, but they will serve you well for a while.

To craft these items, simply head to an anvil. Upon clicking on one, you will be presented with a user interface that has a variety of goods you can craft. Note that there are tabs you can click on to cycle through armors, weapons, and more.

These two items in particular require rough logs and rough stone. These can be obtained by clicking trees and rocks in your environment.

Before leaving the starting area it’s recommended you gather enough materials to make yourself a weapon, as well as a full set of armor.
