Diablo 3 – The Fastest Way to Level Necromancer to 70

So you need to get your Necromancer up to level 70 in Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls. Well, no matter what you do it’ll take a bit of time, but in this guide we’ll get you up to speed on the quickest ways to level up a new class in the latest patch. Note that this applies to all classes, not just Necromancer.

As you might suspect, the fastest way to level up your Necromancer is to get a powerlevel from a friend. Your (preferably well-equipped Barbarian) level 70 friend will round up enemies and decimate them as quickly as possible in Torment V or VI, ushering you experience at a high rate. Just make sure you stay near the entrance to avoid dying, and teleport to your friend when he or she enters a new area.

Using this method I was able to level Necromancer to 70 in just over an hour, as seen in the screenshot below:

However, chances are you’re stuck playing solo, or don’t want to “cheat”. If so, then there’s no better way to level fast than to do the  following:

  • 1. Adventure Mode (Master) – Rush through these as fast as you can.
  • 2. Bounties – Burn through Act 1 and Act 2 bounties. Hope that you encounter Maghda, Belial, or Zolton Kulle as a boss for higher experience rewards.
  • 3. Rifts – Do these until you can’t take it anymore.

We recommend crafting weapons at level 40~ and 61~ that have the best stats possible. We also recommend grabbing a Leoric’s Crown for its great stats and bonus experience.

Don’t forget to have fun with Necromancer!
