FFXIV: Stormblood – Top DPS Classes in v4.0 (DPS Chart List)

A well-known hardcore Japanese FFXIV raider has compiled a list of DPS averages after testing with his raid teammates.

Before we look at the numbers, note that Bard and Machinist have a lot of mobility, allowing them to have very consistent DPS when other classes have to pause during mobile phases. Also, this is the first patch of the expansion, and a tuning update will be sure to come in the near future.

The results were as follows:

  • 1. Samurai (ilvl 312) – 4616 DPS
  • 2. Summoner (ilvl 314) – 4418 DPS
  • 3. Black mage (ilvl 314) – 4414 DPS
  • 4. Red Mage (ilvl 314) – 4285 DPS

  • 5. Ninja (ilvl 314) – 4240 DPS
  • 6. Monk (ilvl 314) – 4235 DPS
  • 7. Dragoon (ilvl 314) – 4020 DPS
  • 8. Bard (ilvl 314) – 3816 DPS
  • 9 Machinist (ilvl 314) – 3688 DPS

Out of the bunch, Machinist is suffering the most. While Dragoon is by far the lowest DPS of the melee, many have remarked that it’s effective, has great burst, and is AoE efficient.
