Professional Mode:

Select arcade mode, then highlight the “Hard” selection on the difficult selection

Keep It Lubed:

In gran turismo 3 make sure to change your oil very often. If you don’t than

License Car Tip:

Turning on all of the License codes will NOT unlock vehicles. License Cars can

be unlocked if all of the License codes are on and you’re able to get a gold

in any of the tests. EXAMPLE: Activate all of the License B Gold codes and successfully

complete License test B-1. If you complete test B-1 and receive a gold medal,

you’ll be awarded a bonus car.

Tiers Tiers & More Tiers:

There are more Tiers of tracks in arcade mode. If you beat tier 3 you get tier

4 and if you beat tier 4 you get tier5 and I f you beat tier 5 you get the last

one tier 6. And now you can select goal in the clear status menu all the way

at the bottom.

*Test Course HP:

I’m not sure if it’s true for all the cars, but it worked for me when I noticed

my car would have one extra HP after every run. (Max Speed) It didn’t work for

the 400 or 1000. I tried it with another of my cars and it took it down, maybe

because it was older and had more miles on it. The car this happened with was

a V8 Vantage. I topped it out at 992, then i noticed it go up one each time,

and now it’s running 1000. Now I’m not 100% sure of this, but try it out and

see if anyone else can verify this. 🙂

F090/s (Indy Car):

An easy way to get this car is to use the Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak on the Super

Speedway (Enduance) and never pit in.

Getting the Prize Car You Want: (only works when race series has multiple

prises)

Save your game before the last race in a championship series that you have at

LEAST an 11-point lead over the second place opponent. Start the final race

and quit out of it. Since you had an 11-point lead over the closest opponent,

you’ll still win the race series and get the bonus car. If the prize car you’re

awarded is the one you want, then keep it and move on. If it’s not the car you

want, then go back and Load your save game from before the last race and repeat

the process until you get the prize car that you were hoping for.

Escudo -More Speed:

If you buy a Suzuki Escudo it will have about 980 HP. Install a Stage 4 turbo

in it and it will have about 1800 HP! Now! Go to “MY HOME” and “Run/Settings”

Go to settings. Change the gearing angle to WIDE. Now your Escudo will go like

450 km/h!!!

Unlock the Almighty Escudo: Pikes Peak Version!:

You had to remember this car from GT2, and now, it makes it’s debut once again

in GT3, only faster with a bigger engine. All you have to do is beat EVERY rally

event (obtaining first place in each.) This can be done only after the rally

license is obtained. It may seem difficult, but WELL worth the wait! With about

1800 hp and top speeds around 292 mph!! (thats 472 kmh) you can destroy the

competition.

Here is a Quick Way to Get $350,000:

Enter the European Championship in Ameateur league. Win the first Four races,

racking up $30,000 ($7,500 per win). Save. Skip the last race (you MUST win

the first four). Collect the $20,000 for winning. For winning the championship,

the game will randomly give you a car. If you are lucky, you win the Gillet

Vertigo Race Car. If you don’t, load the game from after the fourth race and

try again until you get the Vertigo. The Vertigo is a decent S-rank car that

sells for $300,000. Do this three times, and you can afford the Suzuki ESCUDO

Pikes Peak Version, Viper GTSR Team Oreca, or the Corvette C5R (I suggest the

ESCUDO).

Max Out Your Gears in an Automatic:

Whenever your car reaches the end of the gear hold R2 and the gear will be extended

until R2 is let go or the car starts to decelerate it will give you an extra

acceleration boost when needed. This really helps in the license test.

Dodge That Viper:

To get a rocket on wheels, simply buy a Dodge Viper GTS for around £80,000,

bung an NA stage 3 kit on it, give it every possible upgrade, change the gear

ratios to Auto Setting 48; AND BANG!!! You got a bullet on wheels. Trust me,

you can get 450km/h out of it on the test track, AND IT’S STILL ACCELERATING

!!! See it?? IT’S THERE !!!! The one of the fastest cars in the game.

Make Your Own:

Rally cars too expensive? Buy a car (most work with this cheat) and give it

fully customised supension, dirt/racing tires and some engine and turbo upgrades

and …VOILA! A new sweet little rally car! PS 4WD cars work best!

Win Polyphony 001 Formula 1 Car:

Do the tokyo endurance event (i used the Gillet car). when u win you have a

choice of 4 cars and one of them is the polyphony 001 formula 1 car. You might

not get it first time but its well worth the wait. It goes insanely fast (faster

then any other car) and it handles brilliantly!

Win the F094s:

Win the Tokyo Endurance race. The game will show 4 prize cars. I won the F094s.

Not sure of any others.

Easy Tuning:

When you win a car, go to the tune shop and tune it so it can get more HP. For

some cars the amount varies. I won a Camaro Race Car and it had 544Hp when I

won it. Then I added a stage 2 NA ( which cost only 14,500cr! ) and it now has

993HP! Cheap and excellent results.

Make the Escudo Pikes Peak Version Top at 299.5 mph:

Put the gear settings to wide. After you have done this fiddle around with the

final gear. Making the gears longer. If you do this correctly you can top at

299.5 mph, and smoke the competition. I’ll update this further if I can top

it at 300 mph or higher.

Wheelie and Max Speed:

The escudo has 1824 horsepower when fully upgraded. I have reached a speed of

958.7 miles per hour. To do this set the final gear at zero then take the auto

set up down and back up. (when this is done it increases the gear by about twice

as much) Take the final back up but not too much in order to get speed faster.

Take the downforce front min. and back max. spring rate min on front and back

and same with ride height. The TCS and the ATC should be zero. Your car will

pull a wheelie and you will hall balls.

Select a Random Bonus Car:

First when you get the bonus cash for a chapionship race or an endurance, hit

ok. Before the selector circles around use it like a storm stopper: It only

works the first time it circles around, not second or third. It will circle

a few more times before stopping on your bonus car.

Get that Dodge Viper Concept without Golds in the Super License Tests!:



If you race the “Gran Turismo Allstars” series in Professional Mode, one of

your 4 choices of a prize car will be the Viper Concept. Don’t get frustrated

if you don’t get it for a while, it took me about 5 tries to get it. Happy Racing!

Hints

Beat the System:

Here’s a little trick you can do to save money on upgrading your cars. First,

you must have 2 memory cards. Save your game onto both MEMORY CARD #1 and MEMORY

CARD #2. Buy the car that you want and upgrade it as much as you can (if you

have the money, buy every single upgrade you can think of, including every tire

type). Now save the game onto only MEMORY CARD #2. After you’ve finished saving

the game, load the saved game data from the other card, MEMORY CARD #1 (this

should be the original save before you purchased anything). Go to your Home

and then the Trade section to Load Garage Data from MEMORY CARD #2. Now you

can buy the car that you spent hundreds of thousands upgrading for its original

sticker price. TIP: You can use this at the beginning of the game to get an

extra one or two upgrades for your very first car.

Get the Good Oil:

Right away when you get a car, either you buy it or win it, before do anything

what so ever, change the oil, if you do this before anything your car will get

extra horsepower, 5-100 extra horse power depending on the car. For exemple

a Mazda Miata roadster(J) will get 5 extra horse power.

Get the Formula 1:

Just beat 150 Miles of Super Speedway (Might take a few tries. The Formula Car

out runs most cars by insane amounts.

Another Fast Car:

Buy the Zupra, not the cheap one the other and prepare it remember to use the

oil trick and every possible upgrade. It will have at less 1,000 hp.

Super Speed:

To Achieve speeds of over 1000MPH you should take a car like the Toyota GT1

and change the settings. First change the Auto setting to Wide. Then move the

first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and the sixth gears all the way to the

left. Then change the Downforce to the maximum at the back and the least at

the front. Try it out on the Test Course to reach 1000MPH and ride on 2 wheels.

Best Car for F1 GP:

The best car to use for the F1 GP is the F094/s.

Here’s a Tip:

When doing the wheelie, max. speed cheat, take it to the max speed track and

go the opposite way. Keep it in 2nd gear so the steering won’t give out and

when you are lined up right, give it full power. Also, when bringing the final

gear back up, bring it to about 2.249. This brought me up to 1058.1 mph!! Although

its tough to find a decent view. Enjoy!

300 MPH VIPER:

Buy a Viper GTS and modify the engine fully. Get all the top drivetrain components

except the transmision, leave that stock. Now buy the super soft tires and all

the weight reductions. Don’t forget the best suspension, you don’t need to get

the brakes. The last thing you need to buy is the Escudo Pikes Peak. The reason

you need to buy Pikes Peak is you need both cars to be able to get the Viper

to hit 300 Mph. Now to get the viper to go that fast you need to go to two player

mode on the test track. Have one of your buddies drive the Pikes Peak and you

have the Viper. With the Viper follow the Pikes Peak around the track, keeping

a big gap between the two cars but keeping close enough to be able to draft

the Pikes Peak. To Make it easier, try to draft in the corner. Then when you

come out on the straight keep in to the draft. Keep the Viper at full throttle,

the Pikes Peak will have to lay off the throttle until the Viper starts to get

about the same speed. Then the Pikes Peak will have to be full throttle because

as the Viper gets closer and closer it will keep accelerating. If you get the

timing and drafting right, just as you swerve to go around the Pikes Peak you

will be able to break 300 Mph. Don’t get frustrated if you don’t get it right

away. It took me probaly 10 to 15 minutes to get 303 Mph
