Plus is Back:
When playing through the missions, if you fail a mission, you are still charged
for the wear and tear on your AC. If, after losing several missions, you drop
far into the negative money range, your pilot will be forcibly ”upgraded”.
For each upgrade, you’ll need to drop below -50,000 credits. Once this happens,
the game will be restarted with your new powers (i.e. clean slate, 5000 Cr),
although you’ll keep any parts you had from your previous game.
-1st Time Enhancement: Radar
You will be personally equipped with a 260-click range radar, which also has
a missile display on it.
-2nd Time Enhancement: Laser Blade Wave
After a laser blade attack, press the X button to follow it up with a wave
attack.
-3rd Time Enhancement: Heat Reduction
Your AC’s heat taken from attacks will be reduced by half.
-4th Time Enhancement: Fire Back Unit Weapons while Standing/Moving
You can fire all back unit weapons from a standing or flying position.
-5th Time Enhancement: Half Energy Use
Your booster and energy-based weapons will use half as much energy as before.
-8th Time Enhancement: Double Cooling Power
Your cooling rate will be doubled.
More Human Plus Upgrades:
Human Plus Upgrades don’t stop after the 8th time. Repeat the process for
getting the upgrades as usual. Between the seventh and ninth time, not only
will you be able to throw your laser blade, but it will be a 3-way shot! Also,
there will be a missile display added to your radar. And you thought a single
laser blade was cool!
Keep All You Bought:
(this is sorta like the plus cheat) Get as far as you can, with a as little
expenses in the missions and arena, go to the shop and get whatever you can
for the amont of credits you have then go into the 50000 credit debt. There
will be an execution seen but you will come back with the parts you bought
then do it over and over until you have everything. It really works!!!
Acquire Ranked AC Emblems:
After deafeating an AC in the arena, when the win message is displayed, press
Select + Start simultaneuosly to add the defeated AC’s emblem into the premade
list.
Allow Overloaded AC:
After completing the game, load your completed game. Now overweight AC are
permissible.
Infinite Energy:
Press L1+ L2 + L3 + R1 + R2 + R3. The screen should flash an error on the
left. Now for a short period of time you will have infinite energy.
Temporary Invincibility:
While playing a game, press L2 + R2 + R3. If you entered the code correctly,
a “Limiter Released” system error message will appear, and you will have infinite
energy during this time. After approximately one minute, the “OB Down” system
error will appear. It will last as long as the previous error, but you will
not have any energy. After “OB Down” is completed, your AC will recharge and
return to normal. Make sure you finish off your enemy before you become vulnerable.
First Person View:
Hold Triangle + Square + Start. Release all buttons, then press Start again.
Hints
Keep it Going:
If you’re trying to land and you come down too fast you’re unable to move
for a couple of seconds. If you land at a degree less than 45 you can run
after that, with little-to-no stalling.
Highlander:
Remember Ravens, the sword that fires a wave blast regardless of wether
or not you have gone through the enhancement processes, can also be fired
in the mid air. This can offer a devistating suprise for unwary opponents.
Easy Victories:
In the arena play on the abandoned highway and fight behind the building
you start at and stay really close to the out of bounds marker and more
often than not your opponent will leave mission area and you win.
Save Money:
Always save your game before you start a mission. This way, if you lose
a mission by dying and using alot of ammo, you can re-load your game before
you did the mission!
Informer Mission Made Easy:
There is an easier way to destroy Informer and beat the mission with all
the credits, no deductions. First go to the shop and buy some kind of energy
weapon (back unit or arm unit R). Equip the energy weapon and then start
the mission. As soon as the mission starts press L1+ L2 + L3 + R1 + R2 +
R3 (this will give you infinite energy for a small period of time). As soon
as you do that boost up on top of the crashed space ship. Once at the top
look down towards the ground. Use the energy weapon you just bought and
take out the informer. You don’t have to pay for AC repair because you dont
deal with the Mts and you dont pay ammo because you used an energy weapon!
Cheap Wins in the Arena and Sub Arena:
First buy the missles that launch vertically. Then fight any AC in the moon
arena. Then either dodge all of the shot fired by the enemy and wait for
him to go off the cliff and he should stay down there if your near the edge.
Then get a lock on him and fire at him until he is dead Tthe other way is
to go down to the bottom and shoot him from there.
