MLB featuring Ken Griffey Jr

N64

New Teams:

Highlight 'Exhibition' on the first baseball (menu) that pops up. Now simultaneously press all four C buttons. Do this many times and you will hear a beep. Then go to the All-Star teams and there will be two new teams: Nintendo and Angel Studios.

Instant Homerun:

This only works with Ken Griffey Jr. at the plate. When Griffey steps into the batter's box before the pitcher can select a pitch, press Left, Left, Right, Right, Right, Left, Left on the D-pad. Griffey will point his bat towards the field, and if you make contact he will hit a home run.

Blow up the Batter:

When batting, press Right, Left, Down, Right, Left, Up, Right, Left, Down on the D-pad. Don't worry - he'll reappear after the next pitch.

Batter/Pitcher Dance:

When batting, press Up, Up, Down, Left, Left, Right, Right, Left, Left, Down, Up, Up on the D-Pad and your batter will dance. This code must be done before the pitcher begins his wind-up. When pitching do the same code and the pitcher will dance.

Flying Fielders:

This code will allow one of your fielders to fly. Field a ball with an outfielder and run into the infield. Now run to any base except first. Throw the ball around in this order: 1, 2, 3, H, 3, 2, H, 1, 2, 3, H. On the next play, instead of picking the ball up, press A to do a running dive . Your fielder will leap into the air. Press A or B to "swim" through the air. If you let off the controls at all the fielder will land.

Move Logo:

At the title screen hold Z to make the baseball in the logo stop spinning. Keep holding Z and then move the joystick to make the baseball rotate however you like. It's a useless trick, but a fun one.

See Ending (Win World Series):

Go to an Exhibition game and pick your teams. When picking the stadium you want to play in, press all four C-Buttons many times. You will hear a chime if you've done it correctly. Then press the Z-Button to view the stadium. Instead of showing the stadium, you will get to see the ending of the game, just as if you have just won the world series

Shoot Fireworks:

When you get into the "View Stadium" mode by pressing the Z button while choosing your stadium, you can shoot fireworks at the same time. The fireworks should shoot near home plate. This code works in every stadium.

Unhittable Pitch:

Place the crosshair anywhere in the strike zone except the yellow hitting circle. Holding the cross hair where you want it, press Z and then C-Up, Left, or Right to look at one of the bases. Release the Z button first, then release the C button. You should be brought back to the batter and no cross hair or hitting circle should be there. Throw whatever pitch you want and the computer will either swing and miss or watch it go by for a strike.

Check out CPU pitcher:

If you are playing alone, press R on controller 2 to see the opposing team pitcher's status.

Change Uniforms:

When you're the visiting team and you hit a homerun, wait for the camera to show your teamates cheering for you in the dugout and press A. You're players will switch to the opposing team's colors.
