Extra Lives:

The following hints apply to every world.

1-UP Get 150 World Score points
3-UP Get 300 World Score points
5-UP Get 450 World Score points
7-UP Get 777 World Score points

Hard mode:

Score 1,000 points in a world and a star will appear on the game selection screen. Get five stars to unlock hard mode.

Alternate ending:

Beat the game in hard mode.
