Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Switch controller and deck

CRKD Announces Limited Edition Tomb Raider Switch Controller

Peripherals manufacturer CRKD and Limited Run Games announced a pair of Tomb Raider-themed Nintendo Switch controllers. The Tomb Raider NEO S controller and Nitro Deck+ will ship in September 2024, but only 1,000 of each will be available.

Limited edition Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Switch controller and deck revealed

“Embark on an odyssey of discovery, danger, and untold wonders, where adventure awaits in the depths of every shadow and beyond each rugged rock,” says CRKD. “These designs showcase Lara’s resilience and determination, featuring artwork symbolic of the challenges and obstacles in her journey. Towering mountains and intricate hieroglyphic symbols intertwined with foliage and cracked rocks evoke ancient civilizations and mysteries waiting to be revealed.”

The design references the first three games featured in Tomb Raider I-III Remastered. Released in February, the remaster saw a mixed reception, with the Switch version averaging 71/100 on Metacritic. Still, it’s not without fans.

CRKD specializes in limited-edition controllers for Nintendo Switch. The NEO S is a wireless controller compatible with Switch, PC, Mobile & Smart TVs. Its button layout and rectangular shape make it resemble a cross between an NES controller and the Switch Pro controller. It also comes with a charging dock.

Meanwhile, the Nitro Deck+ is a deck for the Nintendo Switch and Switch OLED. It can be used in mobile or docked mode, though it requires additional USB-C and HDMI connections to use on a TV.

Fans can pre-order the Tomb Raider I-III controller now to make sure they have access. This version of the NEO S is $59.99, while the Nitro Deck+ is $79.99.
