Dragon's Dogma 2: a huge vista with a misty castle off in the far distance.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 April Update Planned, Bug Fixes Detailed

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is the latest release from Capcom, and has already had a few patches since releasing in March. However, a new update is already being planned by the developer, with it said to be rolling out some time this month.

Many bug fixes afoot

In a recent post on X, the Dragon’s Dogma 2 team is gearing up to launch yet another update for the game. An image with the post gives an overview of what you can expect. One thing that seems clear is that this patch is going to come with a slew of bug fixes.

The developer is also going to be adding in the option to “zoom in on the faces of the Arisen and Pawns in the status screen, shops, etc.” The update is going to be rolling out for all three versions of the game (PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S).

However, the post on X doesn’t give a specific release date for it, other than saying it’s coming “this month,” and will launch when it’s ready. With just ten days left in April, you can probably expect it anytime soon, all being well.

As for the game itself, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is currently sitting at “mixed” reviews over on Steam. Many were concerned about the many glitches and errors that were present in the game, which likely explains the sudden hotfixes and patches that have been rolling out.

While there is a Capcom Steam sale currently underway, DD2 is unfortunately not involved. But you can get the likes of Resident Evil 4 Remake and Monster Hunter Rise at discounted prices.
