Halo 5 Beta Leak Causes Community Uproar, 343i Responds

Multiplayer footage of Halo 5: Guardians was allegedly leaked over the weekend, showcasing gameplay that concerned a number of fans.

The footage revealed a player using an aim-down-sights view when firing the Battle Rifle, a view that has been a staple of the Call of Duty franchise but has never been a part of Halo. Naturally, this ruffled a few feathers of the purists out there hoping for a more traditional experience found in the franchise's earlier games.

343 Industries executive producer Josh Holmes took to Twitter to address the concerns, saying:

Halo 5's multiplayer beta will be getting a full reveal tonight during Halo Fest. As such, be sure to stay tuned to GameRevolution for more info. In the meantime, let us know whether or not you're keen on the prospect of having the ability to aim down the sights in the next Halo game in the comments below.
