MW3 Beta Progression Level Up Rewards Unlock Weapons Perks Equipment

MW3 Beta Progression: What Weapons, Perks, and Equipment Unlock at Each Level?

The MW3 beta progression is fairly straightforward as players will unlock new weapons, perks, and equipment at almost every level up. Where the first few levels are more or less locked in place, once you earn custom loadouts, you’ll start getting new options that you can use to swap your gear from that point forward. This progression will continue until to reach the soft cap of Level 20 for the beta, but it may be increased further during the second weekend when Xbox and PC players will be able to join the beta via crossplay starting October 12. Here’s what players will unlock as they progress through the beta for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.

MW3 beta progression unlock list

Below is a breakdown of what players will unlock as they reach Level 20. This list will be updated if the level cap is pushed later in the beta:

  • Level 1 – Challenges feature, Demolitionist loadout, Guardian-SC killstreak
  • Level 2 – Combat Controller loadout, Appetite: Whet emblem
  • Level 3 – Rusher loadout
  • Level 4 – Custom loadouts, PILA Missile Launcher, Infantry Vest perk
  • Level 5 – Guardian-SC killstreak
  • Level 6 – A.C.S field upgrade (Automated Computer Spike), Juggernaut Recon killstreak
  • Level 7 – BAS-B Battle Rifle, Operation Beta charm
  • Level 8 – Mosquito Drone killstreak, Breacher Drone lethal equipment
  • Level 9 – Tac Mask perk, Beta Tester calling card
  • Level 10 – MTZ-762 Battle Rifle, Engineer Vest perk, Mission Control Comlink perk
  • Level 11 – Battle Rage lethal equipment, MWIII Beta weapon sticker
  • Level 12 – MCW assault rifle, Counter UAV killstreak
  • Level 13 – Comm Scrambler field upgrade, Bone Conduction Headset perk
  • Level 14 – Sam Turret killstreak, RIVAL-9 submachine gun
  • Level 15 – Semtex lethal equipment, Stalker Boots perk
  • Level 16 – WSP Stinger handgun, Did the Beta large decal
  • Level 17 – Thermobaric Grenade lethal equipment, Tactical Pads perk
  • Level 18 – SVA 545 assault rifle, Trophy System field upgrade
  • Level 19 – Command Gloves perk
  • Level 20 – Gunner Vest perk, Jak Ferocity Carbine Kit attachment, Beta Ripper

Most of these unlockables will be familiar to Call of Duty veterans. The only exception is the introduction of vests, a new item that effectively gives your character something similar to a class. The Infantry Vest at Level 4 boosts Tactical Sprint, the Engineer Vest at Level 10 allows you to spot enemy equipment through walls and comes with a better field upgrade recharge rate, and the Gunner Vest at Level 20 gives you increased max ammo and faster reload speed.
