New Hitman Film Adaptation Pushed to August 2015

While some video gamers out there may not have found the previous Hitman film to their liking, Fox will try it one more time with a relatively unknown actor in the lead as IO Interactive's Agent 47, though the project titled Hitman: Agent 47 has been pushed to August 2015 from its original date in February.

The Hollywood Reporter says that Homeland star Rupert Friend will take the lead while young Spock of the recent Star Trek films, Zachary Quinto, will play the villain and Thomas Kretschmann doubles up on the bad guy side of things.

Of course, when your film's hero kills people for a living, it's difficult to identify a bad guy. Originally slated for February 27th, the film's release date has moved to August 28th, 2015 due to special effects post-production work.
