Diablo 4 Fury Against Fate Bug Fix Ealda

Diablo 4 Fury Against Fate Bug Fix: How to Get Ealda to Follow You

A Diablo 4 Fury Against Fate bug is making it impossible to complete this quest. What’s supposed to happen is that the NPC Ealda and her troops are meant to help you clear out a cannibal feeding ground, but speaking with her doesn’t trigger anything. The Crane Tribe army she brings with her doesn’t move when they’re supposed to charge with you. This glitch has been reported by many players since the start of D4 early access. Fortunately, there are some fixes that you can try that will help you finally complete the Fury Against Fate quest.

How to fix Diablo 4 Fury Against Fate bug glitch

Here are some ways to fix the Fury Against Fate bug and get Ealda to follow you:

  • Complete the event near the cave – Sometimes there’s a event right outside of the entryway that could be the cause of the issue. Drop the quest, clear the event, and try the quest again to see if this fixes the issue.
  • Speak with the leader and stay close to the gate – After talking with Ealda, stay close to the gate as you move away. This might help trigger the NPCs to finally move with you.
  • Relog the game while outside the gate – If there is no event happening (from the first suggestion), talk to Ealda and then run toward the gate. If the gate is not attackable, the NPCs should start running toward it. Otherwise, try relogging into the game. This might take 5 to 10 tries to work.

Several players reporting that they have solved this bug in the official Blizzard forums say that they needed to try a combination of all three solutions above.

That said, there are also a few that have spent a long time trying these fixes and it hasn’t worked out, so it sounds like this glitch is quite severe and complicated. Hopefully, Blizzard will be able to patch this bug soon, because this quest in particular is part of a chain of side missions.
