After releasing earlier this year, developer Ingame Studios has released a trailer revealing the Crime Boss: Rockay City console release date, which will arrive digitally next week and physically in a few months.
When does Crime Boss: Rockay City come out on consoles?
The Crime Boss: Rockay City console release date has been set for June 15, 2023, when the game will release digitally on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A physical release for the game is also set, and will launch on September 5, 2023 for the consoles.
The latest trailer shows off some of the gameplay for the title on console and is introduced by actor Michael Madsen, who stars in the game as Travis Baker.
The organized crime FPS is best known for its star-studded voice cast, which includes Madsen, Danny Trejo, Kim Basinger, Danny Glover, Michael Rooker, Damion Poiter, Vanilla Ice, and Chuck Norris in the game. In Crime Boss: Rockay City, players will take on the role of Travis Baker (Madsen), as he begins his climb from nobody to a full-fledged crime lord.
Crime Boss: Rockay City originally released in March on PC, and launched to mostly mixed reviews. Developer Ingame Studios has since released its roadmap for the game, detailing its plans for the future. Following the release of the console version, a free update will hit the game, before its first paid expansion lands. Following that, the game will receive a free update and new expansion every other quarter, up until Q2 2024.
