The XDefiant release date for PS5, PS4, PC, and Xbox Series X|S is understandably something fans want to know, now that the closed beta for the game is out. Ubisoft’s free-to-play shooter has been in multiple betas, with Insider Sessions that have tested the crossplay feature across major platforms. Here’s what we know so far about when XDefiant is coming out.
What is the XDefiant release date?
There is no official release date for XDefiant, with Ubisoft only stating that the game is “coming soon” on its official website. Given that the game has been put through multiple tests since August 2021, though, we believe that XDefiant release date should be 2023.
The XDefiant closed beta started on April 13 at 10 AM PT and will end on April 23 at 11 PM PT. With all the feedback Ubisoft has received from prior test sessions, the closed beta has no NDA attached to it, suggesting that the game is getting close to announcing a release window soon. The closed beta includes a work-in-progress alpha test for ranked mode and has a rewards track of ten items that will remain unlocked and carry over to all future phases of the game.
