Like a Dragon: Ishin Chicken Racing: How to Farm Money Fast

Like a Dragon: Ishin sees the return of Yakuza 5’s strange but very lucrative chicken racing minigame, which players are already exploiting in order to farm as much money as possible. The silly side activity is far flung from the civil unrest that drips from the main story’s plot, but it wouldn’t be a Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio game without some cheesy and fun ways to spend your downtime.

How to earn money fast in Like a Dragon: Ishin

First, you’ll need to unlock chicken racing by reaching Rakugai in Chapter 3, where you’ll find the Chicken Race Arena. This money-farming method will provide plenty of Platinum Plates, which you can then sell at the Ebisu Pawnbroker for huge gains.

  1. Gather about 36 Ryo to purchase 3600 Kifuda – the wooden tags.
  2. Before you place any bets, save the game.
  3. From the Dividends list, place bets by selecting all options for 23 bets in total.
  4. Spend the maximum of 300 tags on each bet.
  5. For every success, save your game. If it’s a loss, reload an earlier one.
  6. Once you’ve got your stacks of tags, head to the Gambling Den and trade 1500 tags for Platinum Plates.
  7. Sell the Platinum Plates to the Ebisu Pawnbroker for 3 Ryo 7500 mon (and plenty of Virtues)

While it’s important to keep an eye on Chicken Stats while placing your bets, the minigame is heavily RNG-focused, so the most important thing you can do is save and be patient.
