Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Goes Gold

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, the latest entry Gearbox Software's popular loot-filled shooter franchise, has officially gone gold. That's right, folks! Development on The Pre-Sequel has officially wrapped.

Gearbox Software President Randy Pitchford announced the exciting news on Twitter, saying, "Borderlands: The Pre Sequel is GOLD on all platforms! Launches Oct 14th in North America, Oct. 17 worldwide."

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is set between the events of the first two games and was developed by 2K Australia. Be sure to read our preview of the game, written by yours truly, right here.

Star Citizen will consist of two main components: first person space combat and trading in a massively multiplayer persistent universe and customizable private servers (known as Star Citizen), and a branching single-player game (known as Squadron 42).
