Bethesda Scares Tokyo Game Show With a New Trailer for The Evil Within

The Evil Within will attend Tokyo Game Show in the coming weeks with new gameplay and story details for attendees looking to learn more about Shinji Mikami's return to horror.

Previously the creator behind Resident Evil and Dino Crisis, Mikami introduced us to the game last year though we've since had the time to go hands-on most recently at E3 2014. While I don't think I will play the game given my aversion to gore and horror themes at large, it's good to see Western publisher Bethesda helping a Japanese developer continue in the genre with freedom to experiment.

We'll have more on The Evil Within as we get nearer to release. The game will be available on October 14th, 2014 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.
