Proof That GTA Online Is Best Played With Friends

The guys over at Rooster Teeth and Achivement Hunter got together in GTA Online's virtual representation of southern California to play a very high-definition version of Frogger, putting their virtual avatar bodies on the line in a race across major San Andreas freeways.

But what we take away from this video is perhaps most important. It's not about grinding for cash or glitching Rockstar's game so you can buy the most expensive cars and tanks and helicopters and virtual bling.

I guess to an extent GTA Online isn't even about playing organized game modes where focus rests squarely on organized death-match scenarios or races over the map's biggest mountains.

GTA Online is really about dreaming up stupid crap to do with your friends, friends that run over you and all your other friends while you're trying to set up multiplayer Frogger. GTA Online is really about laughing at all the stupid crap you and your friends do while you're waiting around for other friends to get to the point on your map that you agreed on earlier.

GTA Online is best played with friends, together in one lobby, with microphones, all so you can giggle at each other as you wrestle with the controls.
