Fortnite Anime Legends Pack

Fortnite Anime Legends Pack is Not the Dragon Ball Crossover You Were Expecting

Just a day after a potential anime crossover was leaked for Fortnite, Epic Games has announced the Anime Legends Pack to be released later this year, but it doesn’t include the Dragon Ball characters you may have been expecting. The Pack will include 10 items, although they seem more focused on creating anime versions of existing characters than they do on replicating any actual anime legends.

The Fortnite Anime Legends Pack includes 10 items that create new appearances for Midas, Rox, and Penny. Each gets a new outfit, back bling, and pickaxe, while the tenth item is a new emote. Here is the full list of items included in the Fortnite Anime Legends Pack:

  • Golden Gear Midas Outfit: Hittin’ the streets and makin’ bank. (Includes helmet alt Style and Golden Touch ability)
  • Golden Crash Back Bling: Gold first. Safety second.
  • 24 Karat Katana Pickaxe: Here comes the gold rush.
  • Ricochet Rox Outfit: Everyone’s favorite mecha-fighting miss!
  • Whirlberry Back Bling: Ricochet Rox’s very best friend!
  • Blazeberry Blade Pickaxe: Sharp and refreshing.
  • Ready Penny Outfit: She’s never caught off-guard.
  • Little Black Bag Back Bling: Has everything Penny could need.
  • Glimmering Edge Pickaxe: A gold signature original.
  • Lil’ Kart Emote: Take a lil’ lap around the lil’ track.

The Anime Legends pack doesn’t include any of the Dragon Ball crossover characters and items that have been leaked so far, although players believe it is more likely those will make an appearance next month instead. The Anime Legends Pack will be released digitally for $19.99 on all platforms, and it will also be available at retail for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

In other news, the Destiny 2 servers were down earlier today so the team could apply update 4.1.5. in time for the Solstice event. Elsewhere, the Wii U and 3DS eShops have a closure date and they’ll go offline a month after Fire Emblem Fates is delisted.
