In Dying Light 2, fans are wondering which of the choices will save Damien during the Missing Persons quest. The choice players make during this quest will determine whether Damien lives or dies and contains some heavy subject matter. Players will have to take the right path through this mission, and unfortunately, most of the choices lead to Damien’s death.
Which choices do I need to make to save Damien in Dying Light 2?
To save Damien, players will have to proceed in the Missing Persons side quest in Dying Light 2 until he shows up at the bandit hideout. After that, the first choice will either end the mission or continue:
- Hand Damien over to Carl
- Cooperate with Damien
Choosing the first option will cause Damien to attack, and players will have to kill him, ending the quest immediately. To get the best ending to the Missing Persons quest, choose to cooperate with Damien.
Now, sprint through the quest. Players will find Damien’s brother Cliff isn’t actually in trouble and is part of the bandit group that supposedly kidnapped him. Cliff will attack, and players will have to kill him.
When players return to the Bazaar, they’ll learn that Damien is in the tower. He’s preparing to jump, and players have to make the right choices to prevent this.
Making the wrong selection when trying to talk him off the ledge will end in Damien jumping and killing himself. Talking about his brother or trying to talk him out of jumping won’t work. To save him, make these choices:
- “About life.”
- “I’ll jump too!”
Then, interrupt Damien when Roger butts in to prevent Damien from getting hung. Once the quest is over, players can find Damien in the Bazaar and see what he’s been up to. He’ll thank Aiden for saving him and say he’s trying to work through his issues.
