KOTOR Remake is coming to PC and Xbox Series X, despite it being revealed as a timed PlayStation console exclusive. So what is the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic – Remake Xbox and PC release date? The remake of the greatest Star Wars game Knights of the Old Republic, made by BioWare as a precursor to its amazing Mass Effect series, was confirmed last night at last at the PlayStation Showcase. It was seemingly a PS5 exclusive at the time, but it has now been confirmed for other platforms.
KOTOR Remake PC and Xbox release date
The Knights of the Old Republic remake is definitely coming to PC and has all but been confirmed by Aspyr and Lucasfilm Games as coming to Xbox Series X, too. While the announcement trailer described the project as “a legend remade for PS5” with no mention of any other platforms, the PlayStation Blog mentioned that the remake would only be “a console exclusive on PlayStation 5 at launch.” This strongly suggested both a PC and Xbox release, Aspyr then confirmed that the KOTOR Remake would definitely be on PC too — with Xbox Series X|S coming later.
This is no Jedi mind trick!

When is the KOTOR Remake PC release date?
The KOTOR Remake for PC will likely release alongside the PS5 version at launch, however, the game is still “early in development” so the release date on PC and PS5 probably won’t be until 2023-2024.
When is the KOTOR Remake Xbox release date?
The KOTOR Remake will likely release on Xbox Series X/S a year after the PS5/PC launch, meaning Xbox owners won’t see the remake of Knights of the Old Republic until around 2024-2025 at the earliest. It’s possible Lucasfilm Games may negotiate Sony down to just a six-month window of exclusivity, as Lucasfilm isn’t known for intentionally supporting console exclusives — unless for practical reasons, like the original KOTOR’s release on the more powerful OG Xbox over PS2. However, the usual console exclusive launch window is a year.
