Voidtrain is making some waves, and people are wondering if it has online co-op multiplayer. Can you play co-op online multiplayer in Voidtrain?
Voidtrain allows up to four players to join a game in online multiplayer.
Voidtrain allows for drop-in and drop-out co-op multiplayer, and each player is independent of the other and has their own inventory. Players will have to work together to construct a train that will help them cross the void and protect them from the dangers lurking there.
Players must start out humbly, with just a handcar. With multiple players, things like resource collection are more manageable, but actually using the space on the handcar wisely and upgrading it requires players to work together. Eventually, the handcar can be expanded into a small steam engine and finally a full train.
The best tactic for multiplayer starting out is to frantically gather resources and take turns defending the handcar. Predators will attack it fairly often, but it’s much easier to deal with them when there are multiple players. The game seems balanced toward multiplayer as it takes forever to gather resources and upgrade when playing solo. Those that don’t want to grind forever in Voidtrain are best off playing with others in online co-op multiplayer.
Luckily, when playing Voidtrain co-op, all the players can enjoy the main story and unlock trophies together as well. The full experience can be had in either online or offline mode, but it’s one that’s best enjoyed with friends.
