The first limited edition Xbox Series X and Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers are releasing in November to celebrate the launch of Halo Infinite and the franchise’s 20th anniversary. However, given the shortages and scalpers constantly preventing players from getting the latest generation of consoles, those interested will want to act fast. Here’s how to pre-order the Halo Infinite Xbox Series X and the Halo Infinite Elite Series 2 controller.
How to pre-order Halo Infinite Xbox Series X and Halo Infinite Elite Series 2 controller
To pre-order the Xbox Series X Halo Infinite Limited Edition, players will need to go to the official site. There’s a link to pre-order the console near the bottom of the page. However, despite the statement that it’s available now, the link doesn’t yet work (at least for us). So, just keep trying back if the button redirects to the main page of the Xbox site.
UPDATE: It seems like the console has sold out. However, Microsoft hasn’t revealed whether it’s releasing pre-orders in waves, so it’s worth checking back.
To pre-order the Halo Infinite Elite Series 2 controller, users can visit the official Xbox website or any online retailer that typically sells Xbox accessories like:
Again, pre-orders are supposed to be live now, but we’re having difficulty accessing pre-orders for the controller. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that scalpers won’t immediately buy all these out, but we’re betting the real place these consoles and controllers are going to end up is eBay.
Those who purchase the Halo Infinite Xbox Series X will get a copy of the game and an exclusive controller that matches the console. Other than the design, it seems to be a typical 1 TB Xbox Series X console. So, those who managed to get a Series X over the last year won’t have to feel too much FOMO.
Both the console and controller will release alongside Halo Infinite when it launches on December 8, 2021.
