It’s becoming increasingly unlikely that fans will see a Hogwarts Legacy E3 2021 appearance. It also seems certain that an E3 Gotham Knights showing isn’t on the cards, along with other anticipated Warner Bros Games titles such as LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. But why isn’t there going to be a Gotham Knights or Hogwarts Legacy E3 appearance from Warner Bros?
Why Gotham Knights and Hogwarts Legacy E3 2021 appearances aren’t likely
Despite being eagerly anticipated titles that haven’t had much shown of them for a long time, it’s looking likely that Warner Bros Games will not be bringing the likes of Hogwarts Legacy and Gotham Knights to E3 this month.
Warner Bros does have a slot booked for an E3 presentation, which was later revealed to be on June 13, the same day as the Xbox conference and the showing by Square Enix. However, eagle-eyed fans spotted that the Warner Bros presentation specifically mentioned Back 4 Blood, the spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead.
User @J_Dav501 on Twitter asked the Summer Game Fest account about this, who confirmed that Warner Bros would only be showing off Back 4 Blood at E3.
The Warner. Bros Games presentation is Back 4 Blood, there is not a separate event.

This means that Warner Bros is not bringing any games to E3 other than Back 4 Blood, presumably because it’s the game that’s most likely to release the soonest. Hogwarts Legacy, Gotham Knights, and Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League and more are at least a year away, and there hasn’t been much on LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga for a while.
If any of these games are going to appear at E3, it’ll most likely be at Microsoft’s Xbox conference, but that will probably be focused on Microsoft’s own games, Xbox exclusives, big Bethesda titles, or exciting new games. In other words, it’ll be a while before more on Hogwarts Legacy, and comic fans will probably have to wait until DC Fandome in October to see more on Gotham Knights.
